Patches: Tenya Iida × Reader Part 2
You got your room, and when you made it up, you went to your class ready to rule. But, of course, you needed a bag of cheese first. You were eating a bag of shredded cheese as you went to class. Why? Well, because cheese is good. Did you need another reason? You headed to class and were still eating your bag of cheese once you went into the empty classroom. You stood there and saw Aizawa and waved.
"Hey sexy," you said as you ate a handful of cheese.
"Don't ever call me that again," he said as you rolled your eyes.
"Come on, it's not like we haven't worked together before. Remember that one drug operation we destroyed? Come on, partner, smile!" You laughed.
"We aren't working together right now, so we are not partners. Just because your quirk surpasses a lot of students and you have special permissions from the government to be a professional hero already doesn't mean you can do what you want around here," he said.
"I know that I'll be good, I swear!" You said.
"Stole male student's pants in public places," Aizawa said.
"Only on campus, come on, don't be a party pooper. I got bored stalking the class," you said.
"What am I going to do with you?" He asked.
"Teach me, I guess. Want some cheese or an apple sauce?" You asked as you gave him an apple sauce package in your pocket.
"Don't cause trouble," he said as students started coming in.
"Fine, but if you are being hot, I'll let you know; you need a girlfriend, or you need to get railed by Mic, one of the two," you said as he rolled his eyes.
You could get away with a lot of stuff with Aizawa just because he saved your mother while she was pregnant with you. She didn't know she was pregnant with you at the time. She got trapped after a villain attack and couldn't escape a building. She was five minutes away from dying, and he found her just in time. That's when your mother found out she was pregnant with you. You were supposed to be named after him if you turned out to be a boy. Aizawa fought and didn't want that, and Aizawa never came back around. Your parents made sure you knew him even though it was brief, and once you got older, you started fighting crime and saved him back. He had no idea who you were until you explained it, and you adopted him as your uncle even though he also didn't want that either.
All the students came in, and Tenya glared at you from his seat. He already didn't like you, and Izuku had to look away because you were pretty to him. Shoto was indifferent, but he did want to know why you had a bag of shredded cheese with you.
"This is Y/n Marks. She is our new student here," Aizawa said as you smiled.
"Just another extra," Bakugo muttered.
"Yeah, like your quilt?" You asked as he looked at you, shocked, then angry.
"You!!!!" He yelled.
"Yep, want some cheese?" You asked as you took a seat.
Tenya looked at you highly annoyed and often looked over to see if you behaved during class. But you were, and you didn't make a fuss about anything.
"Okay, so you are going to do a work study. Y/N will be exempted from this because she is already a pro hero," Aizawa said as the class looked at you, shocked.
"How?! How is that possible!" Tenya asked angrily.
"Her skill set is above average. Also, she had passed most of the tests she needed to take already. She had just ended her basic core classes and some hero courses, but due to her quirk, the government gave her special permission to be a hero as long as she continued to go to school and got grades above a C. She is exempt from work studies and the festival," he explained.
"I mean, I could do that stuff if I wanted to. The problem is I'm overpowered, and it's not fair to everyone else," you said
"What the fuck can you do besides that parlor trick?!" Bakugo asked, annoyed.
"Y/n," Aizawa said.
"Fine, I'll go easy. No blowing up classrooms. You said as small eraser-sized puppets started coming out of your desk and more oversized puppets began coming out of the wall.
You started singing You're the Inspiration by Chicago as the puppets were coming out of the walls, making people panic, but you were calm as they turned into you, and some started to sing along while some danced. Some got instruments and started playing. You touched one of your puppets and then felt the wall, making your hand go into a wall. You backed up as a puppet incased your body, and you quickly did cartwheels and went through the wall. You dropped down from the ceiling and were about to hit the ground, but you went through it, and you were tossed back up through the floor by your puppets.
You started dancing with a puppet and changing it with every move until it turned back into you. It looked too much like you, and once you started dancing with it, it was coping with every movement you were doing when you were doing it. Then, it started moving by itself and seemed to have a mind. To everyone's surprise, Mic burst into the classroom and started singing with you; a puppet started singing with him, and Aizawa covered his face in shame.
Finally, you dipped the puppet, and all the other puppets quickly returned to where you got them.
"See you around, Y/n!" Your puppet said as you pulled it back to you.
"See you later," you said as she entered the door.
"Patches!" Mic yelled.
"Mic! What's going on, man?" You asked as you offered him some cheese.
"Boring adult stuff; I thought you transfered here," he said with a smile.
"Yeah, I had to, so you going to teach the class today?" You asked.
"Actually, I have a different class to teach right now. I heard you singing, so I had to visit my favorite psycho!"
"Going on patrol tonight?" You asked.
"You betcha, baby girl!" He smiled as you fist-bumped.
"Okay, see you then," you said as he left the classroom.
"Her quirk is amazing," Izuku said softly as the class was shocked to see what you could do with your quirk.
"You done?" Aizawa asked.
"Yeah, go ahead," you said.
Tanya didn't want anything to do with you because we broke all the rules. You didn't graduate, and yet you were already a hero because of your quirk. You weren't hero material, and it was apparent the teachers would play favorites with you. Everyone had to work hard, but you. You were the youngest known pro hero two months ago, and you weren't really on the news. Sadly, during the work studies, Tenya got paired up with you and another pro hero, Hawks.
"Hawks! My favorite bird boy!" You smiled as you fist-bumped him and pulled him into a hug.
"Patches, who's your walking toaster?" He asked.
"Oh, just turbo hero Ingenium," you explained.
"Oh, too bad it's not the two of us. We make a great team, he's going to be a third wheel," Hawks said.
"I did not ask to be paired with the hero who can get away with anything because of her quirk," he said.
"Jealous much?" Hawks asked.
"Hawks, don't pick a fight; he's just mad I pantsed him," you said as he laughed.
"Sounds like you," he smiled.
You three ended up on top of a tall building. You and Hawks were talking while Tenya was trying to do his job.
"So that's when I said screw it," you said as Hawks laughed.
"Your quirk is awesome; I'm so glad you got good parents who encouraged you to practice your quirk every day any chance you got," he said.
"Me too; you still want to come to dinner next Tuesday?" You asked.
"If I can, who knows, a villain might pop up," Hawks said as you nodded.
"Normally how it goes," you said as Hawks quickly threw his ice cream and pushed you down to the ground as an arrow came out of nowhere and hit a dish.
But it exploded, sending Tenya over the edge of the rooftop. You got up while Hawks was tackled by a guy that could fly. You barely were able to save Tenya. You were holding onto a piece of broken metal and Tenyas wrist.
"You okay, nooby?" You asked as the metal started bending and breaking.
"Let me go! We both will die!" He yelled as you rolled your eyes.
You saw Hawks falling and fighting the guy who shot at all of you.
"Such a noob," you said as you tossed him up, and the metal snapped.
He tried to grab you but missed and watched as you fell. You put your hands behind your head and counted to three before turning over; a large glass hand came out of the building and caught you, then threw you up in the air. Tenya looked at you, shocked as you were thrown higher than the rooftop and the tower.
You tipped your hat and touched a piece of metal that was on your hat, and you got wings. You did a back bend in the air and went to help Hawks. You touched his suit, and you made a puppet come out and attack the man's face. You struck the guy in the face, and Hawks hit him down. You went down and smacked the guy up with your hammer, and Hawks grabbed him.
"Nice work, Patches!" He said as your wings started falling apart.
"Whoops times up!" You said as you returned to the rooftop, and your wings melted off.
"Barely made it," you said as Tenya looked at you shocked.
"I thought you were going to die! What happened to your wings?!" He asked.
"Oh, I have time limits on all my puppets. It depends on how big they are and things that aren't human half the time as normal puppets," you said as he looked at you oddly.
"You have time limits?" He asked.
"Well, yeah, it's a downside of my quirk, and it's why I use explosives. No one knows about the time limit then," you said as you started to head down the tall building.
"No one knows about your time limits?" He asked as you smiled.
"Many heroes know if you are trying to find a way to make me on your level," you explained.
"Just not villains," Tanya said.
"Yeah. So don't become a villain because I'm better than you. I would hate to show what I'm truly capable of. I like to have fun," you said as Tenya took that more like a threat than a warning.
He was tired of you and wanted to knock you down a peg or two. He just needed to find a way to do it and exploit your weakness. Once you were on street level with Hawks, who had the villain, you Two started talking again.
"Patches!" A kid yelled, making you turn around.
"Can I have your autograph!" He asked as Hawks smiled.
"What about me? I'm cool, right?" Hawks asked as the kid looked at him, confused.
"No, you're boring," the kid said as you tried to hold back a laugh.
"Aww man, well, I better take this guy to jail; I'll meet you at the usual place. Take the tin can with you," he said as you nodded.
You sighed at a poster the kid had, and before you knew it, you were being swarmed by many kids wanting autographs.
Tenya didn't realize how popular you were around children and couldn't think of why since you thought you were better than everyone else.
"Can you dance, Patches?" A kid asked.
"Sure. What song do you want me to dance to?" You asked.
"Freaks!" A kid shouted as you laughed.
"Really, that one, nothing else?" You asked as the kids were cheering to that particular song.
"Okay, okay," you chuckled as you made a band and started playing the song, and you started singing to it. You made more puppets appear and made them all look like you.
Tenya rolled his eyes, knowing you had better things to do than entertain children. You started dancing with all the kids and singing away, and the kids were singing and dancing with you. Tenya was getting annoyed with you because this wasn't part of your job description, but before he knew it, adults were singing along and recording your performance. You were making some puppets do acrobatics in the air, and some do backflips and handsprings.
Once you were done singing, the kids, of course, wanted another song, but you had to get a move on.
"Patches!" A kid yelled as you went to her level, and she whispered in your ear.
You nodded and made a pinky promise with the girl. She took off, and Tenya looked at you oddly.
"What did she want?" He asked.
"Nothing important to you," you stated and went to the meeting place. After a couple of more hours of working, you went back to your room and got out a sewing machine that you were hiding in a chest and clothes. You made puppets, and they started cutting the fabric up, and some even started knitting for you. Set a timer on your phone and go to a second chest hidden under your bed. You opened it and saw your inventory list.
Thirty-five quilts. Fifteen crocheted and nitted blanets, forty hats, and pairs of gloves. One hundred cloth dolls, seventy-five beanie babies, sixty one wind up toys, seven bags of ABC blocks, four wooden cars, and one wooden sword.
The paper had other numbers on it and dates on it. There was also a date circled in red.
"We are short on everything. Not bad, though," a puppet said.
"You are right. We got to make sure we make our deadlines," you said.
"We need a hundred of everything. Not that hard," a puppet said.
"Yeah, but it wasn't this high, unlike last year. Villains have been causing more damage to homes and making them shovel out more money than normal. At least we are getting there. I'll have to pull a few all nights during the weekends with my parents, but it won't be that bad; we can do it," you said as you closed the trunk.
