Oh Death Kirishima × Reader part 6

You were sitting outside because it was freezing out. It was a December afternoon, and it was already starting to get dark out. There was snow on the ground, but it didn't bother you. The snow was lightly coming down, and you just sat there watching it come down, thinking about what your purpose was still being alive.

It had been months, yet you felt you had to be alive here for some reason. Something was keeping you here, and you didn't know why. You kind of wished you were in the ground still because you were hurting; even though you couldn't feel emotions, you were hurting because you knew you were supposed to be dead, but nothing could kill you.

"Y/n, there you are, dinners ready. Why are you sitting out here? You will freeze to death out here," Kirishima said as he gave you his coat.

"What is my purpose other than protecting you three?" You asked as Kirishima looked at you oddly.

"Your purpose?" He asked.

"Yes, my purpose, all of you will grow up, but I won't. You will have families, yet I will remain the same. You all will get old and die one day, and I will not be able to stop that. Death comes for everyone but me because I am dead. Yet I do not kill; I protect. I will never age nor die. My quirk will keep me alive as long as it wishes. I will see wars, death, and the end of days; once you three die, I will have fulfilled my only purpose. Yet my quirk will never let me rest in peace. I am not supposed to be here talking with you, saving you, sitting next to you. I'm supposed to be in the ground, rotting away. Maybe this is my punishment for helping dispose of most of the bodies. But if it is my punishment, will I live for three hundred years, three hundred months, or three hundred days? I only disposed of two hundred bodies, but what if this is my punishment for what they did because I killed my parents to save you three? No one was going to believe they killed that many people. But they did. Then they killed me because I wanted to stop. It was an easy choice to stop, but it cost me my life and almost you three. I can't stop all the violence in this world and death, so what will be my purpose of living after you die or when you don't want me or need me anymore?" You asked as he sat down and sighed.

"We are trying to fix this, y/n; believe me, we are. I know it's selfish of me, but I'm glad you are here with us even though you can't feel anything. I felt so guilty for your death. Then you came back; I want to put you to rest the right way or, better yet, let you have a long, happy life filled with love. You never got that, and I want you to have that with us. I know we aren't perfect, and we will make mistakes, get mad at you because you don't understand something, and say things we don't mean to you but say out of anger and frustration. But we will always want you around if you can stay here—people's purpose changes constantly, you know. Destiny is what we make it out to be. One day, we could be planning out being heroes, and the next day, we die protecting someone, or by an illness, we didn't know we had a freak accident, or getting killed by people like your parents. You never had a choice to begin with. It wasn't your fault they died because your parents scared you into saying nothing and did unimaginable damage to you. But you made a choice, okay? A choice that led you here. It, to me, was the right choice, not because you saved three strangers but because you probably saved hundreds of lives and made your parents pay for what they did. Now, you are saving people with the quirk you never wanted. It may be horrible and scary to people, but all the people you are saving with your quirk, that is what you came to do. Maybe saving people that your parents were going to kill in the future is your mission now. Or saving all those people is whoever is out there, making us have quirks, a way of correcting something that should never have happened.

We will never know what our purpose is, but it's how we live our lives and use what we have no matter what hand we have in life to make it worthwhile for us and the people around us. Now, let's get you inside. I know you can't feel the cold, but I can, and I have no idea how long you have been out here. You could freeze to death out here," he said as he smiled and took you inside.

"Guess who I found outside!" Kirishima said as the other smiled at him.

"It's cold out there, Y/n. If you had died out there, we wouldn't have found you for a while if the snow covered you up, silly!" Ochako said as she was getting some plates out.

"I was just sitting on the stairs; the snow is like rain but colder. I wish it rained more," you said as you watched them.

"What do you want to eat? We couldn't decide, so we have two options," Fumikage said.

"Hey, Y/n, I thought you were in the school wandering around, so I was looking for you. I'm glad Aizawa let you stay for dinner today," Izuku said happily.

Out of nowhere, you started hearing Over the Rainbow, making Izuku freeze in pure terror. You held your head and started screaming bloody murder, making people drop things and look at you in fear.

"You'll find me!" Minoru sang as he was playing it loudly on his phone down the hallway, and it was getting louder as he was coming closer.

"Make it stop! Make it stop!" Izuku cried as he fell to his knees and tried to drown out the music and people screaming.

You were smashing your head violently against the ground, cracking your skull. You caught on fire and were screaming bloody murder at the top of your lungs as you had your hands over your ears, trying to make the flashes of memories of dead people and the screaming, the torture your family did to those people stop.

Bakugo quickly went to Izuku and covered his ears as he started sobbing uncontrollably.

"Make it stop! Make the screaming stop!!" Izuku cried as Mezou quickly went to Minoru and took his phone. He muted it, but the damage was already down.

"What were you thinking playing that?!" He asked as you were still screaming in agony while Kirishima was trying to calm you down.

"It's a good song!" he said, annoyed.

"Y/n and Izuku can't listen to that song because of what Y/n's parents did to them. Look at them!" He said as he saw Izuku crying in a tight ball on the floor, and you were holding your head screaming, and you were on fire.

"It's okay, it's okay. Y/n, it's okay. It's off, it's off!" Kirishima said as your body suddenly turned to black smoke.

Your face stayed the same, but you screamed at him, making him scream in terror as you went onto the floor. The power went out, and the whole door went ice cold. Tsuyu grabbed some blankets quickly before her body went into hibernation.

"What the hell just happened to Y/n?" Bakugo asked as everyone was terrified.

"Nothing good. Is anyone's phone working?" Kirishima asked as he tried to turn it on, but the battery seemed dead.

"My phone is dead," Bakugo said as he tried to turn it on.

"So is mine. I charged mine just recently," Denki said.

"You think you can charge one of our phones so we can get Aizawa here? We need to find her and see if we can get her somewhere so Aizawa can stop her quirk," Bakugo said.

"That will kill her temporarily! What do you think she will do when she comes back to life? Be normal? That song triggered something horrible. We need to get out of here and find a way to calm her down," Kirishima said.

"She doesn't have feelings; how are we supposed to calm her down?!" Bakugo yelled.

"I don't know! She is in a lot of pain, and even if she can't feel it, we just need to get her calm enough to talk to us. Izuku are you alrifgt?" Kirishima asked.

"The screaming won't stop!" He cried as Kirishima went over to him.

"The doors won't open even if I use my acid quirk!" Mina said as she tried to burn down the doors, but nothing worked.

"Izuku, what exactly did her parent do to you?" Bakugo asked as Izuku was trying to calm down, but he was having a mental breakdown.

"Her mother made me watch videos of what she did to the guys she had... she wanted me to choose what happened to Kirishima and Shoto once she got them, and they were going to make me watch because I was the first one there," he sobbed, "worst of all she made me watch videos of how they tortured and killed those people I could move or do anything because of what she gave me. There was so much blood, and I couldn't say anything or move. I was paralyzed and forced to watch. I even watched what they did to their daughter!"

"She couldn't remember before, and now that she does.. this is bad; she knows they died, but now how. Now that she remembers. She's going to kill us," Kirishima said, terrified.

"She wouldn't do that?! I mean, she may have no feelings, but she likes us!" Hanta said.

"She does, but look what playing that song did to Izuku; she's worse because she was there for years and forced to help. Trama does things to people; she is already dead but barely remembers what happened. All she knows now is how to dismember people," Shoto said.

"Great job, you fucking idiot, you just got us all killed! We told you never to play that song because of what happened to Decku and Y/n!!!" Bakugo yelled as you came out from the floor slowly behind Minoru and made everyone freeze as if you were just darkness and a floating skull with buying eyes. You had a large Scythe in your hands that was now nothing but bone. You duplicated the Scythe into several others and four other bone hands came from your body. You had six bone arms now each with a Scythe. You had cracks on your bones from past injuries that were glowing red with fire and markings on your bones that didn't make much sense.

"Run!" Bakugo yelled as you screamed and started throwing them but held one as you chased them.

You went into the floor, then came back up, making them run the other way. You screamed ever so often and hung out on the roof or the side of the walls, looking at them coldly. They tried to use their quirks on you, but you dodged and blocked the attacks easily. Finally, you had all your friends cornered, making you charge at them with your skull on fire and with your Scythe ready to kill. Kirishima quickly got in front of everyone and used his quirk. He closed his eyes ready for you to kill him if you wanted to.

"You are not your parents Y/n! I know you are hurt and angry! It's not your fault those people died. You didn't have a choice! What they did to you wasn't right! We will fix this I promise! Some day we will fix this!" Kirishima yelled as you swung the Scythe down but stopped before it touched his head.

"You spoke to me...," you said as he slowly opened his eyes to see how close your weapon was to his head.

"Because I know deep down you know it's true," he said as he was trying to choose his words carefully to get you to calm down.

Aizawa tried to get into the dorm room but it was liked tight. He knocked and pulled on the handles to find they were ice cold.

"Great he muttered as he went to look threw one of the windows and saw all the students were trapped in a corner because of you.

"Fucking shit! Y/n open the door! Y/n!" He yelled as he tried breaking the windows, but he couldn't break them. He threw rocks at the windows, only for the rocks to bounce off and turn to ashes.

"Y/n, don't do it. They are your friends!" He screamed as he tried to break down the door.

"Come on, y/n, we are your friend,s, remember?" Shoto said as he was getting ready to try to freeze you.

"Your ice will not work on me," you said as Shoto's eyes widened.

"You... I know you," you said as you took your weapon away from his face and went face to face with him.

"Because we are friends, we trained together and we talk sometimes because feelings are hard for you to understand," Kirishima said.

"No, before then," you said as your face was close to touching his.

"Before then?" He asked.

"Yes... that's right, I remember them," you said as you used your chains rather suddenly, making people jump as you grabbed the vase of flowers he had given you to change his name on your phone.

You did change it to Big Red Ball Crusher because you were running out of nicknames for him. He gave up, and so you changed it to red carpet, which was better than some of the nicknames you had for him. You didn't understand he was just giving them to bribe you to change it. At first, you thought it was a gesture of love, and you flat-out told him you couldn't feel love, so he was wasting his time on you. He was panicking because that was not at all what he was going for. But Kirishima was the one who spent most of his free time with you and tried to do things you never got to experience in your life.

You showed him the flowers and he smiled awkwardly.

"Oh yeah, I didn't mean to make you think I was trying to take you out on a date," he said with a shade of red across his face.

"You put the same ones on my grave because you didn't know what I liked," you said as he froze realizing you were right.

"I changed them, though," he said, "and you were dead."

"I still heard your voice in the darkness of my casket," you said making everyone's blood run cold.

"You changed them to different colors every Friday. I share your memories. But I heard your voice before your name was written in my blood. You came by my grave trying to remember if a sign or a person was watching us that day. I told you before you helped me choose. You made everything seem brighter even in the rain. It made me realize that some lives were worth saving. It's why I like the rain because I couldn't remember before. You seemed so familiar to me. I just could never remember where. You were the only one who missed me when I died. The only person who spoke to me that day while I was walking in the rain and the only one who kept his promise to me. You did find my killer, but when you did, it was too late, wasn't it?" You asked the lights flickered back on.

"You promised me you would find who killed me, you did that for a person you only talked to for less than a minute," you said as the heat came back on and your weapon disappeared.

"You were the only one to show me any kindness, even in death. You spoke to me like I was a friend you have known for ages. You are my friend, not my enemy. I am a Reaper but I do not kill, not anymore. I can choose to help people. I chose to help. I chose to not bring death like my parents did. I chose life," you said as you turned back to normal, but you collapsed to the ground, making Kirishima catch you.

"I swear to God I will fucking murder you if you ever, and I mean ever, play that song again. Do you understand, your piece of shit!" Bakugo yelled as everyone calmed down and Minoru was shaking in his shoes still.

"She's so creepy!!!" He yelled as Shoto went over to Kirishima, who laid you on the ground for a second to pick up the vase you dropped.

"I guess visiting her was a good thing. She might get her feelings back sooner now, having more of her memories," Shoto said.

"She might die for real if she gets them back, but it's better than this at least for her," Kirishima said as he sighed weakly.
