"Okay, class today. You are going to be fighting me one on one with no powers. There are people like me who can temporarily get rid of your quirk, and you need to be ready to fight without powers. There will also be times when it will be too crowded with civilians to use your powers," he explained as everyone looked panicked except for you.

"We can't fight you!" Momo said.

"You can, and you will one on one. I don't expect you to beat me, I want to see what you got," he said as you guys left the classroom to go to the training room.

"This should be interesting. You are going to do so well, Todoroki!" You smiled as he looked at you.

"No one here can beat him with no powers," he said as you smiled.

"So what you are saying is because you already decided you were going to lose to him, you aren't going to try," you said.

"That's not at all what I said," he said.

"Yes, it is. You already decided you aren't strong enough or under-prepared. Eraserhead expects us to lose, so his grade is down. We have the upper hand already because he is so confident in himself," you explained.

"Your thinking is flawed," he said.

"Not as flawed as you think. Trust me, you are going to do great!" You smiled.

During the battles, everyone was losing horribly, and you ended up catching people who were being thrown like rag dolls for not trying hard enough. Todoroki fought hard but still ended up losing.

"Told you," he said as you picked him up off the ground.

"Are you okay?" You asked as you brought him to the others.

"This is bull shit!" Bakugo screamed angrily.

"Y/n, you're up," he said.

"I think he will go easy on you since you're the smallest girl here," he said as you saw how much pain everyone was in.

"I sure hope not," you said as you grabbed your stick and put your hair up.

You got into a battle stance, and your smile quickly faded as you stared him down. You stood there waiting for him to move because everyone attacked him first instead of letting him do it first.

"Do so.wthing Y/n!" Bakugo yelled as you quickly dodged an attack of his making everyone shocked.

He tried getting you again with his scarf, but you dodged it again and kept dodging until they overlapped each other, and you stabbed your pole onto the two overlapping pieces and made your pole bigger. You launched yourself up and got up in his space and pretended to hit him so his scarves came back to hit you, but you dodged again to make his scarf hit him in the face.

They looked at you shocked, and even Eraser Head was shocked as blood dripped from his nose. They saw you had a blank expression on your face as you spun your stick around and then stabbed it into the ground.

"No powers, so no metal pole," you said as you walked away from it.

"Did she just really do that?!" Decku asked as everyone was shocked.

"She's making it hard to read her moves. She's forcing him to make the first move," Todoroki said as All Might came in to watch.

Eraser Head quickly came up to you to try to land a punch, but you blocked his blow and kept blocking. You did take some hits, but that was on purpose to make him think he was winning. After thirty minutes of dancing, dodging, and then getting hit from time to time, you grabbed your stick and spun it around as his scarf grabbed it. It was now stuck to your stick knotted up, and he tried to throw you, but in the air, you were using your body weight to counteract his force so instead of being thrown you landed on your feet no matter how hard he tried to throw you until his scarf was untangled in your stick.

Eraser Head decided to do a real-life scenario and went after Decku, but you quickly blocked the attack and looked at him pissed off. He quickly went up close and personal to you and tried to punch you, but you dodged and grabbed the dirt from the ground and threw it in his face. You then kneaded him as hard as you could in the balls, then punched him in the stomach. You then head-butted him, and every pressure point you could reach to make him fall to the ground unconscious.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" All Might screamed as you smiled.

"That was fun. Okay, you can stop pretending now," you said as he wasn't moving.

"Um, Mr. Aizawa?!" You asked.

"You knocked him out!!!!" Bakugo yelled angrily because he wanted to do it first but got blasted after five minutes.

"Holey shit Y/n your awesome!" Kirishima yelled as you didn't feel awesome; in fact, you felt awful.

You tried to use your water quirk, but it wasn't working.

"Todoroki, help!" You begged as you checked to see if he was breathing, and he was.

Todoroki came over and made some ice to try to wake him up.

"I'm no better than he is," you muttered as you were close to tears.

"You are better; you feel guilty. This was a test that's all. You didn't continue to beat him; you stopped. That's what makes us different from the villains," he said as Eraserhead shot up shocked.

"I'm so sorry I did that! I got mad because you went after Decku, I was just trying to tire you out," you apologized.

"You did the right thing knocking me out. If I was a bad guy, I could have grabbed a child and threatened to kill it," he said as you sighed weakly.

At the end of the day, word got out that you beat Eraserhead without your powers, and even the upper classes were impressed with it. Mario, who was one of the top three students, congratulated you since he couldn't do it at your age. Bakugo was jealous, but the whole class was happy that someone had done it. You, however, weren't happy about it because you hit him, he was your teacher and the guilt was eating you alive. You sat outside looking at the stars. You got out your camera and sprayed some water over some flowers.

You started taking pictures of the water droplets on the flowers, and then you set the camera on a timer. You made your fire go around your waist, and then you quickly did a ballerina pose and made it look like you were holding the moon in your hand. You looked at the pictures your camera took and sighed, realizing you didn't like them.

"Food is ready," Todoroki said as you sighed.

"I don't think I will eat," you said as the mere thought made you feel sick.

"You should," he said as you shrugged.

"Still upset at yourself?" He asked as you sighed.

"Don't be, you're a good person. You may not have had it easy, but you aren't like your parents," he said.

"Not yet anyway....," you said.

"You will never be," he said.

"You think so?" You asked.

"As long as you make your path and stand up to yourself," he said.

"Standing up to them is like standing up to unstoppable monsters. Well, my mom doesn't even know what's going on half the time. It's my dad," you said as your phone went off, and you looked at the text you sighed.

You sent a text back then looked at him. You wanted to tell him because you were struggling, but how could you tell him? What was your father doing worse than ignoring you, and you wanted out? Also, now you had to protect your friends from him too.

"I'll be back in a half hour or so. You don't have to keep any food out for me," you said as you passed him, but he grabbed your arm.

"Is something wrong?" He asked.

"No, my dad just likes to talk," you said as he let you go.

He flat out knew you were lying, but he couldn't figure out why you were you were here and safe from your father. You smiled weakly and then went to your room. You called your father and sighed weakly.

"What the fuck is the matter with you?!" He asked as you looked at the ground.

"Look, he is older than me! Didn't you feel the least bit-" You paused.

"You have no right to think! You are a girl, and there are only three uses for you! I knew I should have killed you as soon as I found out you existed! This is your only path now. You do it or say goodbye to your school and you will be forced to stay with him!" He screamed.

"Why can't you just pay off the debt some other way, I'm not the answer. Please just think about it. If I become a hero, I can pay off the debt for you even," you said as you heard stuff breaking in the background.

"You will never amount to anything you piece of shit! You will do what I say! You will start texting him and calling him every day, and if I find out, you have been messing around!" He stopped.

"I won't start texting and calling the guy until I'm ready to. Why do you... he's twice my age! You know what? No, I'm not going to do it, I can't!" You said.

"Do you know what I do for a living right?" He asked, making your blood run cold.

"Okay, fine... just please don't do anything," you begged as you were close to tears.

"Don't tell me what to do you ungrateful slut! I expect a report on what you do every day down to the last detail and if it doesn't match your GPS then I'm pulling you out of the school and beating you within every inch of your life! Be home to visit this weekend to do the chores!" He growled as he hung up, and you started to tear up.

You tried to hold back your tears of anger because you were already telling every little thing you did and who you talked to. Every assignment, what clothes you wore, even if you took a shower or listened to music. When you cleaned your room and what you spent your money on that he sent you. Then only the reason why you bought makeup was so you could send selfies to the guy who said you were ugly with no makeup on. You didn't want to marry this guy to help pay off his debt, but you didn't have a choice. You didn't know what he would do to your friends, and you didn't want to find out how powerful his loan shark was.

You started cleaning your room to calm to take your mind off of things, but half an hour later, you heard a knock on your door. You opened the door to see Todoroki with a plate of food he was keeping warm with his left hand.

"Here," he said as you smiled.

"Thank you," you said.

"If you need to talk to one of us, we will all be here," he said as he waved goodbye and then left.

You smiled, then closed your door. Maybe you could get away from the situation you were in. Maybe you could even do it by yourself.
