Dark Fairytales: Natsu × reader part three

Your journals were beautiful but filled with pain and sadness. You could draw, but you never shared your talent with everyone. You drew everyone and you with them smiling and joining in on their fun, but you never did that. You feared what would happen if you got attached to them and were taken. Would they suffer the same fate you did as a child or worse? You could barely live with yourself losing your children to a monster; if you lost them, it would have been the end of you.

You were putting yourself in life-threatening situations that almost ended your life on more than one occasion. You didn't value your life because, in the end, you would end up in a pit of hell because of your curse. Reading your journals was heartbreaking, and Wendy had to take a break once in a while, and so did Lucy and Juvia. Ezra was trying to be strong, and so was everyone else reading them, but there was a lot of stuff that happened to you that wasn't remotely fair.

You drew you with your kids often, the only thing keeping you going. You were trying to find the remaining people who could have escaped like you did or the people who hurt you. But the place you were at was destroyed by a magic bomb. You were probably the only surviving person from that horrific place. You drew the monsters you were seeing, which were horrendous, and it scared Gajeel and Grey several times and Erza, too.

"Okay, so any leads on where she could be?' Levy asked after closing the journal she was reading after seeing a monster you drew.

"No, other than where these people would throw babies in and used livestock as what they called them. We just need to figure out where it goes, but we don't even know what spell was used or how long that portal was even there for," Juvia said.

"Her mother said she was the keeper," Gray said.

"What?" Erza asked.

"Yeah, um. I had to stop reading Y/n's journals. They were making me sick, but her mother said she was a keeper and was hoping never to pass it on to her. It doesn't go into detail, but apparently, her mother heard voices, more or less the person in the pit. She is the tenth generation of keepers. Only the firstborn can be a keeper unless they die; then, if they don't have kids, it passes to the next of kin. It's a mark or something," Gray said.

"You don't think her family is responsible for the pit, do you?" Gajeel asked.

"Whatever is down there? Y/n started hearing voices before Y/n was taken. It says so in her journals. It doesn't say what she was hiding, but whatever it was, it had to be awful. It's not mentioned anymore except the voices and seeing monsters in her sleep," Gray said.

It had been a week and a half since you went missing. Natsu was feeling it because, once again, you put yourself in danger. You didn't tell anyone because you wanted them to have a good life, but what about you? You mattered to him. He was stuck on a picture of you and your boys. You were smiling, and he was in that picture with you. The image was drawn about a year into joining the guild. He remembered when Romeo's father went missing, and you went after him with Happy and Lucy. You were in the guild a full day before that happened. You couldn't stand to see Romeo cry, and even though Gramps didn't seem to care, he did; he just didn't want the boy to get hurt.

You were so kind to him and even got down to his level to talk to him; then, after giving him a flower, you went off to help his father with them. You weren't so kind to the monsters you fought and had to save them all, but it worked out in the end. Since then, you have been keeping everyone's bacon at any cost to you. Even if you were close to death, you never backed down from a fight. You joined the guild four years ago, and the one thing he knew for sure was that your life was rough because of how you fought. Even if you were at death's door, it was like something demonic was keeping you alive. Even if the odds were heavily against you, you never gave up.

You jumped through a portal you cut open and rolled into the middle of a busy street. You were covered in your blood and ink; you were scratched up and had slashes going down your back. You heard screaming and tried to close the portal, but several giant monsters came into your world before you could. It didn't matter anyway if you made the cut or not; they were coming for your friends. The ones you drew you never saw again because they were stuck in the books waiting to come out. Your friends couldn't fight something they couldn't see or hear.

Only the cursed ones could see them and hear them, but now the man that feasted on children and people was strong enough to break thrhks prison and force the corrupted souls to go after you in this world. They would be able to be seen soon enough, but by that time, you would all be dead.

"Miss, are you alright?" A man asked as you, a massive human-looking monster on all fours.

It had three faces and a missappened mouth, and its eyes were all over its head. It had long, oily black hair. There were several more monsters, but they were just that: monsters. The human-looking one screamed, and you looked off through the busy street while arms tried to grab you through all reflective surfaces. Several heads came out of the windows along with the rest of the body of the monster. You were trying to avoid using your magic because the more you used it, the further gone you would end up being. You were turning into one of them, and you had very little time left before you were gone.

You ran through the streets and used your magic to break the windows and knocked one into a wagon, making the wagon break. The monsters were screaming and running on the building walls, on the roads, and the rooftops, trying to get you, but with your magic holding them back, you were outrunning them. You killed a monster, making it explode and turn into ink, looking for blood everywhere.

"Come on! Come on!" You said as the creatures tried killing you, but you barely dodged their attack and made it to the guild.

You crashed through the doors and had your back to the door. The monsters crashed into it, making you fall forward; you put a spell on the door and made a wooden beam on the door to keep it closed.

"Y/n?!" Ezra yelled as you quickly got in the middle of the guild hall and put your palms on the ground.

"Earth magic, everlasting shield!" You yelled as the shield markers appeared on all the walls and the ceiling.

You held your side, realizing you were bleeding badly, but you put a temporary patch on it since you weren't going to be you much longer. You opened your books and ripped all the pages with monsters, making them scream. You lit them on fire and dropped the ashes on the ground.

"Y/n?" Natsu asked as everyone saw how bad of shape you were in.

"Hi, I'm sorry. I didn't know that just drawing them would make them come here. I had to had to stop them. They know, they know I care about you all, and you are all next after me. I never wanted this to happen," you said as the door was turning to give way.

"We can fight this together now!" Natsu said as you grabbed him to prevent him from going outside.

It started to get dark outside, and you looked at him sadly.

"You can't see or hear them. They will kill you, and I can see them, hear them, feel them. I'm turning into one of them,' you said as Natsu looked at you confused.

"No, you aren't; you can't be," he said as you looked down.

"I was dead as soon as I stepped foot on the grounds. As soon as you do, you're marked by the headmaster. You can't escape it unless you die, and even if you do, you just end up as food. I don't have much time left, and you need to listen to me. No matter what you see or hear, don't come into this guild until the darkness disappears. If it doesn't, they will take you and do unspeakable things to you. That goes for everyone in this guild," you said.

"We can fix this; we just take out the bad guy, and you will be fine," he said.

"You can't win! He devours magic! As you step foot on his turf, he starts taking everything from you! He uses your memories against you and feasts on everything you have! I don't want you all to die like my kids did! I died when they died, and thanks to it, you gave me a purpose to live again! I'm not scared for me; I'm scared for you! I will kill everyone I love! I won't remember you, I won't remember your voice, your kindness, I will just do what he says. All those drawings were innocent souls, Natsu! They were babies! They were people, people! If he comes to this world, it's done. There will be no stopping him, but you can't fight him. I'm just buying you time!" You yelled.

"We wi stop him and you won't end up like that Y/n you won't, we can fix this! We always fix things!" He said.

"Not this," you said as your veins started turning black.

"We can; you just don't want to try anymore!" He yelled as your head was pounding and the screams started building up.

"I have tried; why do you think I look like this? You fight him; you turn into one of those things; you don't, you will eventually! Either way, we a lose, Natsu. I can't keep the shields up much longer. You need to leave," you said.

"We aren't leaving you! Y/n, stop it! We aren't losing you or to this thing!" He yelled.

"It's okay, it's all going to be okay. You know the reason why they even came here is because I love you. I tried so hard not to fall in love with you because you're an innocent idiot, and I didn't want to bring this to you. I stopped believing in love, and then I met you," you said as you started crying.

Tears of black ink ran down your face, and your blood started turning black.

"What?" He asked as you quickly kissed him and put a spell on his arm.

Wendy screamed now being able to see the eyes of the monsters in the widows. The building started shaking violently and the screaming was overwhelming. You quickly backed away from Natsu and got rid of your fairytale mark. You started throwing up black blood and your shields started cracking.

You quickly made a door with your Magic and looked at Natsu who was in shock.

"Bye Natsu, fall in love with someone for me. I can't tell you how much time you will have but I hope you will be all long gone before he breaks free. Go Fairytale!" You screamed as you cut your palm with your powers and with the last little bit of red blood left you slapped his arm activating the spell you put on him.

The Fairytale marks started lifting up as you started pouring your magic into your sheilds making cuts form on your body. Everyone with the Fairytale mark started getting sucked through the door once it opened.

"No! Stop it! Y/n no!" Natsu screamed as you looked at him and smiled as your sheilds started exploding. Monsters started coming in and yrhr door you made closed and disappeared once all the members were out except you.

A second door opened in a field where you could see the whole city from. All the Fairytale members were there horrified because some were in different parts of the guild not knowing what was going on. Your friends watched as monsters were all over the guild and a black cloud hovered over it. Some monsters were taller then the guild while some were so misshapened that they looked like something tbat came out of a nightmare. They could hear there screams and screaming feed us from where they were.

Tears ran down there faces seeing them enter the guild with you in it. There was nothing they could now to stop it either. The monsters disappeared and the cloud disappeared leaving streams of blood in its wake. Makarov closed his eyes in anger, he was told what was going on and he was deep in the archives trying to figure out what kind of spell that would take innocent lives before he was taken away by you. He figured it out but it was to late now. There was no saving you as soon as you were marked it was a death sentence. Now he had to figure out what kind of spell did this.

They went to the guild that was now covered in blood and ink. Everything inside like the tables and bar were destroyed. Your books were still there and protected by the spell you made to stop the creatures from winning. The windows were broken and your hand prints were burned into the floor. A green Crack hovered over your hand prints and distorts laughter came from the rift that was in the middle of the guild. Images of the monsters were in the reflected broken glass and were laughing at them because you were gone and nothing was there to protect them from the man.

Natsu feel to the floor and tried not to cry but he realized you didn't just kissed him because you loved him you made a spell which made your sheilds weaker. You needed to touch a mark and he was the closest one to you. You knew he would be because no no matter how beat up or bloody you were he won't be to far behind you pick you up. Now he was never going to do that again. You fought for so hard and so long without anyone knowing it. He just thought you were sad about something but it was because you were always looking after them and worried they would end up like you.

"I don't care how the fuck you think you are but I'm getting her back you hear me! You don't get to hurt my friends or my family you piece of shit!" Natsu screamed.
