Be A Man: Mezou Shoji × readoer part 5

You woke up with a slight hangover, but you showered and changed your clothes. Your dad called and explained what happened, which you weren't mad about. It was your stupid fault, after all. You went into the standard room with your chocolate-covered pretzels and saw some of your classmates hanging around.

"Don't eat those!" Denki yelled, slapping the pretzels out of your hand.

"Bitch he drugged my juice, not my pretzels, you moton! You do that again, and I'll slap you across the face like an angry deep south black woman from America!" You said as he looked at you, confused.

"You have never seen a black queen mad. You make my aunt Juliette mad, and you run," you said as you saw Mezou.

"Hey shoji, thanks for yesterday," you said.

"You got drugged, and you are fine with it?!" Denki asked.

"Yeah," you said, picking up your pretzels.

"Is it true your family is part of a gang?" Shoto asked, making everyone look at you shocked.

"A gang?!" Momo asked.

"Oh my gosh, you make it sound like they are bad people. Look, they did do bad things in the past, but they worked with the government to not only have no sentences but also clean the streets. They put away over three hundred people and raised me simultaneously! I turned out fine. Well, sort of, I never played with dolls. I never liked that stuff. So what if they have tattoos and scars? So what if they are not perfect people? No one is, and if they didn't teach me to be the way I am, I would have died a long time ago. My neck of the woods wasn't a walk in the park, especially being a girl. Do you know how many petafiles were in my neighborhood? You know how many disappeared magically and were never heard of again? Just saying my neighborhood was the safest despite having a gang running the area," you explained.

"So the training you do, they did?" Momo asked.

"Yeah, Juliette is the knife maker. She makes knives, is good at reading body language, and is also known at the dealer because she makes playing cards with "magic" and can make them kill people. I know my Russian cousin can drink excessive amounts of alcohol, but when drunk, he somehow mastered the art of drunk fighting, which I can't do well, but I'm going to work on it when legal. My aunt Lilly is the queen of making disguises and taught me much about makeup. Eion is a tank but a gentle giant and helped me with weight training, as well as my dad. My Aunt Grim is amazing at acrobatics and good with guns. My dad, well, he's good with everything except gymnastics. He's known as the destroyer. I have his steal knuckles," you said.

"But he's not your real dad," Denki said.

"Right, I don't have a real dad as far as I'm concerned; he's dead," you said as you ate your pretzels.

"What about your mom?" Izuku asked.

"Oh, she normally works at a K-mart," you said.

"Y/n, you got visitors," Aizawa said as Denki's mouth hung open with shock, and Bakugo dropped his toothbrush, not knowing what to do.

A man with hoves for feet came towering at seven feet seven inches tall. He had bull horns and scars on his face and arms. His shirt seemed to struggle to stay together. He had a tail and jeans, his hair was thick black, and a woman was ragging a wagon behind her. She could be no more than five-five but looked like a model from the magazine.

"Eion! Grim!" You yelled as Eion gently smiled.

"Hi!" He said, his voice was so deep it didn't sound natural.

"Hey, you beautiful bitch!" She said as she came up to you, and both of you head-butted each other.

Her skull was so thick it could stop the most potent bullets.

You hugged Eion next, and he was always so gentle with you. He could crush you to death with a single hug, and you remember growing up, he didn't like you. It wasn't anything against you, really; he just didn't want kids in general and often told you he hated you, but no matter what, he was always there for you. Around the age of five, he started liking you more, mostly because he was finally healing himself.

He became a baker and a florist on the side once he retired from being in the gang.

"My god, he's huge!" Minoru said as he came in with Fumikage.

"Which one is Mezou? I got him something due to your little accident yesterday," Eion smiled as Mezou felt uneasy about him being around.

Eion towered over him, and he seemed somewhat fit. His mere presence alone was a lot.

"He's sitting over there," you said as Mezou didn't know what to say or do.

"Which one? Oh, right, he's like Eion!" Grim said as she went over to him.

"Hi, I'm Grim, and this is my husband, Eion! It's nice to meet you!" She said as you hugged him.

"Husband?!" Most of the people asked, shocked again.

"Duh, you guys, I swear. They aren't that, you know, observant," you said as Eion smiled.

"Y/n are being hard on them. Hardly anyone would know, even with the rings, that we are married unless we say something! They didn't grow up with us like you did!" She said.

"Sorry, but it's obvious," you said.

"Sorry about her. She takes after us! Y/n, he's so cute!" Grim said as Mezou blushed a bit.

"Grim, you're embarrassing him!" He said while Eion got out the boxes and organized them.

"Look at him! You talk about him so much. Oh my God! Y/N remember that kid you kissed when you were five?" She asked as you scoffed.

"I was five, and you keep talking about it and have the picture hanging on the fridge still. I kissed a cute heteromorph boy in a village during a vacation. I kissed him to show I wasn't afraid of him like you did with Eion. It was so romantic," you said, mocking her.

Grim took out her phone and compared the pictures she had saved in her favorite photos and compared the two.

"Oh my god, your shoji! The shoji she kissed!" She squealed.

"I never would do that, and I don't remember doing that," Mezou said, remembering the workable way he was treated in his village; he wouldn't be caught dead with a regular person.

The mere thought of being caught back then scared him. Kissing you would have gotten him killed back then. Grim showed him the picture, and to his horror, it was him, except you were hugging him, and he was tearing up because you were hugging him.

Shoji didn't remember this at all, and he couldn't figure out why, except maybe due to the way others treated him and the scars he just forgot.

"It's not this Shoji; sure, they look similar and have the same last name, but it doesn't mean anything," you said.

"You became a hero because Shoji couldn't due to being what he was. You said it yourself, and I remember that because that was the first day I got you a wooden dummy doll to practice your knives!" She said.

"I didn't become a hero because of him!" You said.

"Yes, you did! You had a huge crush on him!" She said.

"I was five! Five!" You said.

"That's not me," Shoji lied.

"It's not? Are you sure because this looks a lot like you," she said.

"I'm sure," Mezou said.

"Aw dang it," she said.

"I know how you want her to be happy, but she will find a guy she likes eventually," Eion said.

"This is the only guy she has ever liked!" Grim said.

"I have liked guys, but none measure up to my standards," you said.

"Just like Grim, she said she would never have kids, and now we have three," he smiled.

"No guy matches my standards right now, but that doesn't mean they won't later," you said as Grim sighed.

"I just want grandkids," she sighed.

"I'm not even old enough to have kids yet!" You said as Eion got out a box for Mezou.

He got it out and gave it to him.

"I made you some snacks to thank you for taking care of her,' Eion said as he gave Mezou the food box.

"You didn't have to; she is my classmate," Shoji said.

"Y/n is a handful, and knowing her, she probably tried to beat you up," he smiled.

"Actually, quite the opposite. Y/N was nice to me, not to everyone else, though," Mezou said.

"She was nice to him.... maybe there is some hope yet, " Grim said.

"Grim!" You said as she chuckled.

"I can't help it!" She said, walking over to you and hugging you tightly.

"You are one of my sweet babies! My sweet, itty-bitty baby!" She said as she tried to suffocate you with her hug and possibly her boobs.

"Grim!" You whined.

"Gosh, I wish I could get right in between that," Minoru said, thinking about it.

"They will kill you," Denki whispered.

"I mean, look at that so much boob!" He whispered back.

"This is all yours, too; it's just not editable....," Eion said as he saw a bottle of expensive scotch poking out of a box.

"Okay, you aren't getting that until you're old enough," Eion said as he left that in the wagon and gave him seven other boxes.

"You didn't," Mezou said.

"It's my family's way of saying thank you. No one else besides my family has ever been brave enough to look after me, especially when drunk," you said with a smile.

"We should make some food! We have some ingredients for cake and cookies; if you want, all you guys can help," Grim smiled.

"I don't like sweets," Bakugo said.

"Y/n said you like challenges, so how about we challenge you, the three of us, against the rest of the class," Grim smiled.

"Not happening," Bakugo said.

"Okay, I see you are too chicken, too," she teased.

"What did you say?!" He asked angrily.

"You heard me, son! Chicken!" Grim said as he got so mad he decided to help.

You eventually got the whole class to help you, and Eion started singing the heavy metal version of Bad Romance by Lady GA GA. You were singing along as well as Grim. You were dancing in the kitchen with Grim and with Eion.

"Oh no, looks like we need more icing because someone has been eating it all,"  Eion Smiled.

"What? I can't help it!" Grim said as she finished off the icing container.

"To the store!" Eion said.

"Who wants to come?" Grim asked.

"I'll go. I need more fruit," Mezou said.

"Okay, anyone else? Eion asked as some of the other students raised their hands.

"Okay, let's go!" He said.

They started walking to the store while you held onto Grim's and Eion's hands. Even though you were old enough to walk alone, they loved it when you did this. They would take you to the park all the time and play with you even though Eion would get judged heavily for his appearance.

"Eion," Grim whispered, seeing a woman on the street in very revealing clothing.

"Hey, Y/n, come here," Eion said as he let go of your hand and moved you to the other side, blocking your view of the woman.

"Why did you move me?" You asked.

"Cars, you aren't as big as I am," he joked as Grim looked at him worried.

In the store, you helped pick out the icing and helped everyone get what they needed. Once you checked out, you started to head out with everyone.

"This cake is going to be amazing!" You said happily, but your happiness was short-lived when you looked over the area to cross the parking lot.

Your eyes met a familiar figure, and you immediately gave the bag of icing to Mezou and went over to the woman.

"Y/n, no, don't! Damn it!" Grim said as she went after you.

"Mom! What the hell are you doing? You promised me you would stop doing drugs, and soon this once I got into U.A.!" You said as your mother lit a cigarette.

"Stop! Those are bad for you!" You said as you took the cigarette from her.

"I'm not your mother, you stupid little bitch; leave me alone; you are going to scare my customers away," she said coldly.

You smelled alcohol and saw she had bruises on her arm from drugs.

"Mom! It's me! You promised! I know things were hard two years ago for you, but drugs... I thought you were just drinking!" You said.

"I said leave me alone! You, you are the pain of my existence! You disgusting freak of nature! You are not my daughter and never will be! If I had just killed you or thrown you away, I wouldn't be like this! I would have a life; I would have a family that loved me, not some tramp bitch! I wish I killed you when I had the chance! I never wanted you! I hate you! I hate even looking at you! You are nothing to me, a nobody, and you will never amount to anything!" She screamed at you, making Eion quickly head over to you.

"Mom! This isn't you! You need help!" You said as you tried to touch her, but she slapped you hard across the face, making you go to the ground.

"Sarah, stop!" Grim begged as Grim went over to you quickly and got between you and your mother.

"I told you to keep that slutty, disease-ridden thing away from me!" Your mother yelled as Eion quickly picked you up and held you close to him.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. We have been trying to get her to get help, but things just got worse," he said as he took you back to your friends.

"Watch her for me," Eion said as Grim and your mother got into a heated screaming match.

Eion grabbed his wife as she was face to face with your mother, ready to punch her for hitting you.

"Oh, that's bruising," Kirishima said as you just sat there paralyzed with shock.

Your mother never hit you, never screamed at you, never did drugs, and now she was like this. She had a drinking problem, and she said she was going to get help from a therapist and go to rehab but never did.

"You aren't my daughter anymore! I hope you fucking die, you whore!" She yelled as she went somewhere else due to drawing too much attention to herself.

"Hey, it's okay. That woman is crazy. You were just trying to help," Momo said.

"She's not crazy. She's my mom," you said as you started walking back to the dorms by yourself.

"Mom? But," Momo said as you didn't say anything else and just walked home.

"Shit," Eion said as he sent Troy a text telling him what happened.

"She said her mom worked at a grocery store," Momo said.

"I'm so sorry you guys had to see that. Never start drinking to get drunk or do drugs ever," Eion said as Grim sighed.

"Y/n mother became an alcoholic two years ago seemingly out of the blue, then turned to drugs, and it seems quite her job. Just give her some space, okay," Grim said as Mezou was worried about you.

He knew you. You would never just take getting hit from anyone, but you didn't do nothing. You didn't even get up after your mother slapped you.
