Ch12: Meeting at Tokyo Tower

(Lelouch POV - Tailor's Office - Early Next Day)

"Yes, Everything is just as you requested Your Majesty. It has been worked on by finest in the field, although I haven't worked with the material for quite some time. The slide system have been finished." The tailor said, getting me to smirk.

Excellent, everything is ready for this afternoon.

As much as I abhorred getting up this early after finishing ironing out the details, I needed to make sure everything was ready for this afternoon. Y/N at home with Nunnally if she wakes up early while Sayoko currently gathering the final material for his outfit.

They had everything prepared in advanced except the mask.

As for myself I had used an old...acquaintance from the casinos. An expert in his craft and someone who had the rare grace to accept their loses. Of course his expertise also extended to the extra material Y/N provided.

A synthetic fabric I was somewhat familiar with through mother, used in the earliest days of Knightmare pilot testing for the suits before better material were found and less costly.

Good for absorbing the shock while piloting the earliest Knightmare Frames but was when applied in layers. Y/N and Sayoko assure that at best it can deflect a knife or if fortunate enough small caliber rounds.

No doubt from prior experiences.

It was logical for his assertions for extra protection and finding from the tailor that some paranoid nobles that used entire suits layered in the material for their rivals and quite pricey by their standards alone.

Given the nature of Britannian politics, perhaps one of their smartest decisions.

Yet with the limited supply Y/N had procured there was a thin layer lining my suit that offered my better protection than I had originally intended alongside other methods.

"Very good, now regarding my second request?" I said with a smirk.

"My assistant is scrubbing all footage of the work as we speak. All that is left is for me to erase all evidence and forget everything correct?" He asked, getting me to nod.

"And replenish your supply of fabric, noticing that it has gotten low." I said, gathering my uniform in its case. "Pleasure doing business with you. Next time w have a match I do hope you do better, but I assure you that's a Fool's Errand."

The tailor stiffened as I walked out the entrance to his shop.

He should forget everything after another minute and everything will be back to normal for him, except we now had him in our pocket with a single phrase should Y/N or I speak it.

The quality provided of his work alone was worth it for need of future tasks, but the wealth of knowledge from clients with loose tongues could provide needed intelligence.

Second of soon to be many in the near future.

As I walked out the tailor's shop I looked around before moving to a spot I wouldn't easily be spotted as I pulled out a phone.

"There you are master Lelouch." Sayoko said from behind me, nearly getting me to jump from my skin before I sighed.

"Can you please stop that." I said while shaking my head. "I assume you have gotten everything for Y/N?"

"Yes, and master Y/N says miss Nunnally is stirring." Sayoko said, getting me to nod.

"Then we shall head back now, the necessary preparations for later have been completed. I would prefer not to worry her should she fully wake up." I said as we took our leave.

Left unsaid was that I was also worried Y/N would joke to her that Sayoko was trying to get me to exercise in the morning for my health again...

But now we had everything ready for this afternoon, the prologue performance to our grand debut on the global stage! Where for the second time this week we shall shake Britannia to its core!

(Y/N POV - Ashford Academy - Later in the Morning)

Well that was a a good eulogy for Clovis, less so if the principal wasn't trying to make the speech as patriotic as possible. Then again he is probably doing so to get a potential target off his back with the Purist Faction in charge of the government now.

At the very least classes were canceled for the day and I saw Rivalz and Shirley talking with Lelouch after the speech. Managing to slip by them and I heard her asking if he was going to gamble again.

If only she knew what we were up too.

I spotted Kallen walking away from the crowd with a frown, no doubt she couldn't stand the speech as well. If she noticed me in the crowd she made no effort of showing it.

No matter, I'll be seeing this afternoon.

Nunnally should be with Sayoko and the speech for her age group should be done soon.

And it seems like Maya is tailing me again, should probably give her the slip soon enough.

Don't see Nina anywhere neither do I see Mil-

"Y/N?" Milly said, leaning against a doorway.

Speak of the devil and she will appear.

"Yes Milly?" I asked, wondering what she could want.

"Can you follow me for a moment, there is something that we need to talk about." Milly said seriously, getting me to nod.

"Lead the way then." I said following after Milly.

Still had quite a bit of time left before heading towards the meeting, better see what she wished to ask.

For a few minutes we walked down the hallways in silence, a few other students milling about in them. Some of them giving us a clear breadth once they caught a glimpse of us together. I even saw one member of the Student Self-Defense Force look between us before opening a door, bolting out into a courtyard before we got close.

"Grandfather is going to have some words for him and whoever decided to leave this unlocked, but at least it wasn't into a rose bush this time." Milly said with a bemused smile as she closed and locked the door. "He's still not over the horses riding club incident?"

"Doubt he will." I said with a sigh as we resumed our walk. "How much do you think they are taking bets on what event we're going to cook up next?"

"That's a sucker's bet, but one no one will win this week." Milly said with a smirk. "Maybe not next week."

"Just please get me a little more heads up on what you have planned, didn't have enough time to dress my best for the Silent Masquerade Party." I said with a smile.

"Well Nina and the boys didn't think so." Milly said with a grin while I just shook my head at my partner in mischief making.

Usually when people saw the two of us together it meant something was usually a foot for Ashford or us cooking up a new event. But not today.

We walked for a few minutes before stopping at an empty classroom.

"Head in Y/N." Milly said before turning around. "If you want to talk to Y/N yup can do so without being all shy. You've been following him for a while now."

Looking back I can see Maya flinching behind a corner before stepping out.

So Milly did notice her too.

"Maya if there is something to talk about you can always just ask me outright or we can meet somewhere of your choice." I sighed out as she stepped into view of us. "If it is matters you wish to the Council or just issues you wish to talk about I usually am open to talk. Thought I've already made that clear to others, but if you wish to talk just ask."

Maya paused at that, looking conflicted for a few moments before nodding.

"Not right now...but I'll consider doing so." Maya said with a nod, taking off before I could inquire more about her.

"So she's your stalker, little Miss Delinquent Maya Diesel. Honestly I'm kind of relieved." Milly said as she crossed her arms under her chest and I closed the door behind us.

"So you figured it out and wasn't worried that it was one of Lelouch's more rabid fan girls again." I said with a shudder.

I know some of them were crazy, but one of them topped them all by going all yandere. Thinking we were in a relationship and if Milly hadn't suspect something could have gone after me with a knife.

Doubt she would have succeeded, it took Sayoko 10 minutes to covertly gather enough information to have her family shipped off to a junior mental institution on the Homeland quietly to get her some much needed help. Still there a year later.

Lelouch was practically sick at the idea and we make sure to avoid the yaoi crazy fan girls all together.

Took a bit to convince Sayoko not to murder the girl, though I'm sure she's fair game if she takes a single step in Japan again.

"She just seems like the quiet shy kind thankfully." Milly said as she brought a hand to her chin. "How much do you know about her."

"Not much, just noticed her following me yesterday. You?" I asked Milly.

"Same, not much either except that she is often quite tardy, leaves in the middle of the day sometimes, and tends to buy a lot of supplies for one girl." Milly said before smirking. "Yet she is a cute little thing..."

Oh no, I can see where is going.

"Milly no, I'm sure you messed with Kallen already." I said sternly.

"Milly yes!" She said with a grin before shaking her head. "But you're right. Perhaps in the future."

I made a quick prayer for Maya as she was now in her crosshairs before we both turned serious.

"What do you want to talk about Milly?" I asked her.

"How are you three holding up?" Milly asked, getting me to sigh.

"You could have also asked Lelouch about this." I asked, getting a small smile from her.

"You and Nunnally much closer to Clovis than he was, besides you are more open to giving me a straight answer about this than Lelouch." Milly said, getting me to shake my head.

Fair enough.

"Pretty hard to be honest Milly, took us quite a bit to calm Nunnally down. I miss him so damn much Milly, it's hard to hear about it. He and Odysseus were there for me so much in those early days." I said honestly while shaking my head. "Lelouch seems alright but he was sick briefly, found him throwing up in the toilet yesterday. Clovis's death has him shaken more than I think he'll admit to anyone."

Nothing but the truth to her, albeit abridged. Even I don't know just how much killing Clovis bothered Lelouch even if he seems to be better now.

"I thought as much Y/N. And I know with how much of a prat he was behind closed doors since becoming Viceroy, you still cared about him." Milly said as she placed a hand on my shoulder. "You wish that you had seen him before don't you?"

"More than anything Milly, I would have wished for another chance. At least one where could have speaken together like the old days. I'm sure Nunnally would have loved the chance too." I said, wiping my eyes before sighing with a bitter tone. "But that can no longer happen Milly, I've accepted that. Yet it still hurts."

"I can't begin to imagine what you are going through Y/N, just if need to talk about it I'm here." Milly said, getting me to smile a little.

"Thanks Milly, I think I'll take your offer tomorrow...I just want to take sometime for myself today." I said, somewhat truthfully.

Was going to take sometime for myself today before the big meeting today to refocus myself. That and with Lelouch and Nunnally before we prepare.

"Figured, just please stay safe especially with the current climate of the Settlement." Milly said before she grinned. "I know that you can take care of yourself, but stay off trains and don't disappear again Mr. Wandering Prince."

Oh she's playing that card.

"You're never going to let me live that down, just don't cause any trouble without me Ms. Mischief." I said with a smirk, getting her to playfully punch my shoulder as we both let out a laugh.

Milly smirked back before shaking her head with a frown.

"What about Suzaku, he's the same one you both talked about. They're using him as a scapegoat." Milly said, getting me to frown.

Should have known that she would have picked him up.

"Correct, Nunnally is concerned and me and Lelouch are absolutely livid. Bloody Purists using that he is a Honorary Britannian to push him to a kangaroo court." I said with a frown.

"Believe me, I know how you feel." Milly sighed out. "Hopefully Clovis's killer is found soon, I can't imagine how he is going to get out of this otherwise."

"Me too Milly, but I have a feeling that we are to going to find out soon enough." I said.

She seemed quiet for a moment before nodding.

"Maybe." Milly sighed out, reaching into her skirt before checking her phone with an irritated sigh. "Anyway I should be going."

"It's your mother isn't, I know that sigh." I said, getting her to playfully swat my shoulder while shaking her head.

"Got it in one, but grandfather is there. More than likely to do with what to do after Clovis's death. As much as I would love to continue chatting I should go." Milly said with a sigh.

"Otherwise we would be here for hours chatting." I said while shaking my head.

"Too true." Milly said with a smirk. "But before I head out, any word from that woman you talked about the other day?"

"Not a single text or anything, but I suspect she is still around. The moment she makes an appearance I'll let you know." I said.

"Alright, just answer one question for me. Is she older than you or me by at least a year." Milly asked with a grin.

"Yes, probably not that much older but I couldn't really tell." I said honestly, still trying to figure out C.C.'s physical age.

Physically she is probably around our age or into her early twenties are my best guess. Honestly not even trying to figure out how old she truly is besides the broad strokes term of centuries.

"Shouldn't have expect anything less from you Y/N." Milly said with a smirk as she walked away while I sighed.

Kind of walked into that one...

With a smile on my face I shook my head and exited the classroom, walking away while surveying if anyone was still around.

Once in the clear I made a break for one of the underground passageway entrances to head to the Hanger.

Honestly I wished that we got to talk longer, it was going to become a luxury after the grand debut. But it was now time to get to work.

Time to start a revolution.

(Kallen POV - Tokyo Tower Observation Deck - Afternoon)

Fucking Britannians, it was taking every measure of self control I had from ripping this place apart!

All around were exhibitions of false Japanese historical propaganda by the Britannians to make it seem like we were insignificant without them and being branded with the title Elevens! And don't get me how wrong some things were like seppuku!

I swear the only things they got right in the exhibition hall was the failings of the Ashikaga Shogunate and the resulting Sengoku Jidai and the Meiji Period. I think one of their future rulers was there in hiding from a similar incident to the Emblem of Blood back then or the end of the Edo Period.

Honestly I didn't care to remember.

This was a common meeting place between well just about anyone, usually Britannias to talk or look at the half destroyed Tokyo Tower left like it was after the war as a glorified trophy. I could see some Japanese faces and I'm willing to bet most of them were Honorary Britannians.

Ohgi, Sugiyama, and Yoshida were inside Observation Deck with me yet a distance away from me. Damned Britannians would probably call security otherwise, although normally for that point I could somewhat understand.

Tamaki, Inoue, and Minami were just outside, keeping him quiet while also keeping an eye out for Y/N or K-1 whoever he maybe.

It was the time he said to meet up, but no sign of them at all so far.

"Attention please! To our visitor Kallen Stadtfelt of Ashford Academy, your lost item has been returned to the service desk. Please proceed to the service counter on the viewing platform to retrieve your possessions." A woman's voice said over the intercom.

I let out a sigh as I moved towards the service desk.

That was definitely one of there ways to communicate to me, I don't doubt it.

But I'm trying to figure out which of the two did so and for what purpose.

While also sending a quick glance back towards the guys. Seriously couldn't they not make it look any less inconspicuous that they were following me!

A minute later I came to the service desk and keeping myself from cringing at the choice of uniform I walked up to her I pulled out my Ashford Student I.D..

"Excuse me, are you Miss Stadtfelt?" The woman said politely on spotting my uniform.

"Yes I am." I said with a timid tone, playing the sickly girl while showing her my I.D..

"Alright then here is your phone." She said, reaching into the desk and pulling out a black phone. Handing it to me as I began to inspect it for any traces on if I can identify who left it.

But it was pretty much a standard burner.

"Is everything okay?" The woman asked.

"No it's fine, just checking for any scratches. Thank you." I said, getting her to nod as I walked away.

So they were going to call me from this then, better head to the viewing deck. Less people to overhear the call than.

(3rd POV - Same Time)

"She's moving to the viewing deck." Yoshida said seeing Kallen moving from the service desk after they had backed off from her.

"Right, call the others and have them meet us there." Ohgi said before feeling his phone vibrating in his pocket. Looking surprised at the caller before placing it to his ear. "Hello Fukuyama."

"Hello Ohgi, I see Kallen did tell all. Must wanted to say my partner will call Kallen when everyone was on the viewing deck. But I was a little late on that mark and Sugiyama seemed to have spotted me." Y/N said through the phone, getting both men to notice their blue haired compatriot was elsewhere on the observation deck. "Good set of eyes on him but I wasn't really trying to hide, only making sure everyone was here. Don't bother trying to order anyone to follow me."

"I wasn't going too, but I only assume the next time we speak of face to face?" Ohgi asked.

"Correct, I'm looking forward to this. Everything will be explained shortly." Y/N said before the call ended.

Ohgi put his phone away with a sigh before going to Sugiyama as Yoshida called the others outside.

It was just about time to begin.

(Kallen POV - 10 minutes later)

Tamaki wouldn't stop grumbling when it turned out Y/N was just here to make sure that everyone already was. I didn't even notice him, but than again I was also trying not to focus on ripping this accursed place from its foundations bolt by bolt.

He has calmed down now and was with Minami looking out the binoculars, probably to spot him or just out of boredom.

Same with everyone else.

I was by myself, waiting almost bored out of my mind with the phone in hand. Waiting for it to finally call and-

I was broken from my thoughts when it suddenly started to buzz.

Finally, now to get some answers!

Looking at the caller I.D. I frowned at what it said.

Zero.

If I were to guess this was K-1's name.

"I take it this is your identity or Fukuyama changed his." I answered while looking down at the crowd below.

(Lelouch POV - Outside Tokyo Tower)

Fishing for answers I see, very well I might as well indulge her if only a little.

"The former. Good to see you all on time. I need you to get on the fifth Kanjō train line. The outbound line." I said before passing the phone to Y/N.

"What?" Kallen asked incredulously. "Why?"

"It will simply be worth your while Kallen, just wait and see. After that no more tricks and distractions, we will meet you there." He said before passing the phone back to me.

Like I had expected it seemed to placate Kallen somewhat as I heard an irritated sigh on the other end.

"Fine, but I'm holding you both to it." Kallen said.

"Excellent Ms. Stadtfelt. Now I would advise to depart shortly, I would very much like to meet the rest of your cell." I said before ending the call and looking at Y/N. "Everything is going perfectly, and the status of back home."

"Sayoko's done with the editing and is with Nunnally until we get back." He said with a sigh.

"You regretting that part of the plan." I asked with a frown.

"Just uneasy, but I know that it needs to be done." He said, getting me to nod as he smiled. "So the absence of numbers then."

"Well it has equal meaning similar to the name of the Japanese people themselves." I smirked back.

"True." Y/N said before his expression turned serious. "Are you truly ready for this Lulu, we are at the point of no return. The mask you wish to don...it will only be an uphill battle from here and we won't make it through this unscathed at best. Any doubts or regrets you wish to share?"

"No, I've been ready for this day for seven years now Y/N. My only doubt at this moment is if we can make it to the station before the Kōzuki Cell. What about you?" I asked pointedly.

Only getting him to smile in turn.

"Was ready the moment you were, now we have a train to catch." Y/N said as he stepped ahead while I shared my head at my older brother.

Still now was the time for no hesitation.

A better world for Nunnally was now within our reach, no longer a distant dream.

This meeting will only be the prelude, but I haven't felt this alive since Shinjuku!

Crossing onto the train cars I saw Y/N, taking a breath and looking back only briefly before entering the train.

Casting off the mask of Lelouch Lamperouge, student of Ashford for good.

Donning a more fitting mask and perhaps the closest to my true self.

Zero, the man who will make a gentler world by any means necessary.

(Jeremiah POV - Viceroy Office - Five minutes later)

The silence in the room was unbearable while waiting for the man commissioned to that handled Prince Clovis's memorial service and will be broadcasting the transportation of Private Kururugi to his trial. He should be here at any moment.

Manly the smug satisfaction on Kewell and myself and Villetta from rightfully putting the upstart in his place, but the Homeland Purists were monitoring the situation eagerly to assert the abolition of the Honorary Britannia System starting with Area 11.

As much as I want to throw the man out of the window and make it look like a damned accident!...I had already had more pressing maters at hand.

Besides, me and Villetta found a loophole in his little failed start of a coup attempt.

If it works it only irritates him, but if the worst comes to worst and I honesty wish it won't...well he'll take the blame.

I was broken from my musings when the office door opened, revealing a tall man with sandy blond hair tied in a ponytail and several large bangs with indigo eyes. Wearing a dark blue suit and a carmine turtle neck.

Wait a minute, I recognize him.

"I thought your name was familiar, Diethard Reid. We meet at that backwater town Orgisu, his highness making a spectacle of us wiping out the Nakamura Braves a year ago." I said, getting the man to smile as well as Kewell.

"It's a pleasure you remember me Your Excellency, perhaps it was my favorite production under His Highness the Prince had commissioned." Diethard said and I had the impression he was being honest.

The rest of the man's previous work for media events were galas, announcements, or whatever media piece Prince Clovis had fancied. Perhaps the only other one matter he covered that I held any real interest is the fallout of the Babel Tower Bombing.

Bastards got what they deserved when caught and I wish the ones that managed flee to be put down like the rapid animals they are!

The Nakamura Braves were a resistance group and perhaps one of the most successful one we had managed to put out in one fell swoop...and admittedly the largest singular bust in years.

Boistering their numbers to around 260 before they were dealt with, they poised a threat to Sakuradite shipments throughout the country side of Area 11.

His Highness wished to make a spectacle to dissuade other terrorist cells and to show how effective he was of dealing with threats to the rest of the empire.

Admittedly we cleared out most of them and captured their leader and 30 other prisoners as he demanded some be captured to be tried for their crimes.

Honestly the one thing I disagreed with along with Mr. Reid was glossing over we lost 14 men in the assult, three of them Purists under mine command. Those damned terrorists somehow commandeered a Portman unit and modified its torpedo launchers for missile launchers with anti tank rockets strapped on for good measure.

Kewell had the pleasure of tearing it and the pilot apart.

I kept my grievances quiet as Prince Clovis handled the matter to the men's family's behind closed doors and composited them for their service to Britannia.

Eight of them were tried and executed, some more were killed in prison as for others...I honestly have no clue. It was as if they vanished.

Don't tell me they escaped, it's a matter I'll look into later. News of this getting out now will only make a bigger uproar than there is following Shinjuku.

"Apologies for calling you on such short notice Mr. Reid. You handled Prince Clovis's memorial service quit well. A little weepy for my tastes." I said, getting him to nod.

"Of course, His Highness had it penned word for word during his early tenure as Viceroy. Making the occasional changes as time passed, we wished to leave the audience in tears." Diethard said.

"I would expect nothing less from Prince Clovis." I said while shaking his head.

Even after his death he wished to leave the public to be moved to some form of emotion he wished to express. Just as much as an artisan as he ever was like back in Aries Villa.

But it does bring a point.

"You were still well aware of this eventuality, I reason it is a contingent of being Viceroy for an Area." I said.

"Correct incase of any unexpectant occurrences and needs to be preplanned at best. Such is the case of many such people of importance in the empire." Diethard said.

"A case I no doubt didn't qualify before, nor have I ever cared for or will. But this matter is not what I had wished to discuss." I said with a frown before turning to Kewell. "Captain Sorsei."

"Off course Viceroy." Kewell said with a tone mixed with bitterness and smugness before facing the producer. "Have all the commissions that have been put forward been completed."

"Of course, the studio has already found and advertised viewing of the transport for 'patriotic and just' Britannians to view Prince Clovis's killer. Along with the requested shots for the transport and security have been mapped out. They should be fully set up by the time for the event." Diethard said with a frown before he turned towards me. "I inquired your lack of input Your Excellency, but Captain Sorsei has stated that your duties as Viceroy would prevent you from overseeing the event."

Is this man trying to get himself fired or purposely stir up drama? I'm sure he is already picking up the tension in the atmosphere already. I'll have to give Mr. Reid some credit for his audacity, fitting for his occupation.

Kewell frowned and I narrowed my eyes at him before smirking to his surprise.

"Quite right I am working to help ease the chaos after Prince Clovis's death. But it has come to my attention that not all the preparations have been fulfilled on your end Kewell." I said, getting the man to frown.

"What would that be?" He asked, trying not to let his irritation known.

"Two of the escorts you had scheduled, Langford and Dodgson have both been put on sick leave as of last night and won't be able to perform their duties." I said, trying not to show my excitement.

Langford was legitimately sick and Kewell knew it, just we didn't know how sick until late last night. He went into the operating room as of this morning.

Dodgson though, have some respect for the man. He'd seen the writing on the wall and wanted sometime out while things cool down and outright made his intention known. I don't blame him and normally I would have some words.

But instead of a small few days of layover he was home in 'quarantine' for the next week. With some drilling on what he face if he broke it.

"That will be easily fixed enough." Kewell said, no doubt already having thoughts of those who would support him.

Yet I enjoyed what I would say next.

"You only have one e replacement to worry about, Dame Nu will be on escorted detail." I said with a smirk which Villetta matched.

Kewell's face shifted into a mixture of shock and rage which I relished!

"I will merely be escorting the prisoner in a Sutherland like you. Your designs for the transport and security detail were more than adequate enough, but we need all avaliable hands to escort the prisoner incase any Eleven forces are brazen enough to rescue him, which all terrorist activity in the past 24 hours is more than likely." Villetta said with a smirk.

"And the people would be more inspired if they saw their interim Sub-Vicreoy actively participating. Would undoubtedly be doubly so if I joined in, but as you put it I'm quite busy with all this blasted paperwork. Dame Nu less so, I'll be at the courthouse for the trial." I said with a smirk as Kewell further fumed. "Of course, you still have full control of the escort and she'll only take command in the worst case scenario. I'm taking a page from Her Highness Princess's Cornelia operation on such matters. The Purist Command on the Homeland has already approved."

Granted it was a narrow vote, but with this procedure Princess Cornelia having participated in escorting prisoners while giving proper command to Ser Guilford or General Darlton in war torn Areas with sprawling resistance or newly conquered they agreed.

Kewell gets his tome in the sun while me and Villetta get the chance to run interference if things go wrong.

More importantly we prevent from Kewell what he truly wanted, full control of the event. Especially with the producers as a witness.

Just a small taste on what I will do to the upstart for thinking he had successfully undermined my authority!

He has been riding my coattails for a long time no, thinking to take my position as a leader more fit with the Purist beliefs should be in command.

Kewell was right on the beliefs, but he forgot one thing.

I'm Jeremiah Gottwald and I didn't get this far in life from just the battlefield alone!

As much as I detest interacting in politics and the blasted politicians, I knew how to play this bloody game too.

"Captain Soresi is there anything you wish to add?" I asked in a stern tone, conflict clearly written on Kewell's face before it become stone cold.

"Of course not Viceroy." Kewell said to which I nodded.

"Than I presume you have matter to attend to and a position to the escort to select, notify myself or Mr. Reid of any additional updates that are needed." I said, turning to the producer who looked very much amused. "Unfortunately me and my subordinate will be busy for the rest of the day, I'll call someone to help escort you out Mr. Reid. Until than feel free to discuss further matters with Captain Sorsei, as I'm sure you are going to need as much details for tomorrow."

"Of course, and until next time Your Excellency." Diethard said before he walked out the office, followed by a somewhat placated Kewell closing the doors.

Not before giving the both of us a spiteful glare.

"Are you sure it is a wise decision to leave him out with Kewell?" Villetta asked as I resumed battling the mountain of bloody paperwork.

"I believe they referred to it as the stick and carrot method, no doubt Kewell is going to organize the attention more on him and Private Kururugi being escorted. He commissioned Diethard and no doubt the man will see the production through to the end. Had the same glint in his eyes when Prince Clovis painted. We already ruined whatever Kewell had initiated of this little horse and pony show he started." I said with a smirk before looking at Villetta. "You might want to stay out of the barracks for a few days."

"I've already made arrangements, but what about you sir?" Villetta asked.

"I have nothing to worry about Kewell, the one thing we both respect for each other is our loyalty to Britannia and the Royal Family. Despite his little power play our focus is on the trial. If he wants to start a coup it will be after the trial." I said before looking at Villetta. "But if that damned fool does try anything or anything else happens I'm leaving everything to you, on both fronts. You're the only one in this damned Area I can trust right now."

As both interim Viceroy and looking after Prince Y/N.

"I would be honored sir."  Villetta said before frowning as she sat at her desk. "Less so about the paperwork."

"A necessary sacrifice, let's just get this done before more work is delivered." I grumbled out.

After this there are a few things that I needed to look into for both the security of this Area and raining hell onto Kewell afterwards.

Then my main focus will be on finding the true killer of Prince Clovis and securing Prince Y/N's safety.

I will not fail again.

(Kallen POV - Kanjō Monorail Line - 10 minutes later)

Twenty minutes.

Twenty minutes of nothing but waiting on this train since it started for any sign of Y/N or Zero.

And of no one commenting on why there was six Japanese in a train car full of Britannians. Not even a single look of disgust given their way. If anything it was just pure apathy.

Kind of unnerving actually, that aside from ignoring their existence the passengers all acted normally.

Not letting my guard up for even a second despite this.

I was broken from my musings when I finally got a call back on the phone, seeing it was from Zero again.

"Hello?" I asked, getting Ohgi to snap at attention as he gestured to the rest of our cell.

"Look to your right, what do you see." Zero said, getting me to frown as I saw the Tokyo Settlement.

"The Britannian's city, a city of robbers that was stolen from us and built out of our sacrifice." I said bitterly, trying to keep my tone low. "Sucking it all up like parasites."

"Good, now on the left?" Zero asked.

"Our city, a dried husk where everything had been sucked up by the Britannians." I said, anger filling me while looking at the Ghettos.

"Good answer, now come to the front car. We're waiting there." Zero said before ending the call.

I frowned at that as I got up and began to walk through the train car, Ohgi signaling for everyone else to follow me.

It was finally time for answers.

Traveling from compartment to compartment with more people eerily silent and unresponsive to us which was admittedly creepy, but I was more focused on getting some answers.

Eventually we came to the front car and it was completely empty except for two occupants near other side entrance.

One standing in the center, a black cape blocking most of their body except for the back of some kind of mask with spikes on the back. To their right was a taller figure where their back only exposed was a dark blue coat that like the other figures cloak hind their body, but I could see they were wearing black armored boots. They also seemed to be wearing a white mask, but I could only see a black back and two white spikes.

When everyone else got into the car, the second figure turned to face us and I got a better look at him.

The inside of his jacket was red and on both shoulders seemed to be a sigil that resembled a silver bird in flight to me. Wearing black pants, gloves, and shirt with armor on the pant legs and chest that resembled what I could best compare to a modern version of plate armor with possible gauntlets judging by the bulging in the jacket's sleeves. His mask resembled an okami mask that covered his whole face...

Wait a minute...

"The Okuchi no Makami, you really took after the name Yamato than Y/N." I said with a smile, getting the masked man to let out a chuckle.

"I see you didn't choose another name than Kallen. Besides I thought it was fitting anyway." Y/N said his voice sounded different from probably a modulator in the mask, walking up to us before grasping it.

Hearing a click he lifted the mask with the back part retracting to show his white hair, lifting it up to show his face.

I swore I heard someone muttering quietly but I could identify who as Y/N stretched out his hand to a surprised Ohgi. Guess the shock of him truly being my age was settling in for him.

"It's nice to finally meet you all face to face." Y/N said with a smile as he placed the mask under his arm.

Ohgi looked between him and Zero in the back for a moment before extending his hand.

"Nice to meet you two then." He said, getting Y/N to back up as Tamaki walked towards him.

"At least he has some decency unlike your partner." He said, before backing off from a glance from Y/N who was heading back towards Zero.

Both me and Ohgi gave a glare to Tamaki that promised consequences later before Yoshida cleared his throat.

"I have to agree on Tamaki on this one, he wasn't even bothered to talk to us." He said, some for which I had to agree on before I saw Y/N smiling.

"Might as well now partner." Y/N said as the train approached a tunnel.

"Indeed." Zero finally spoke, their voice probably modulated like Y/N's through the mask sounded male but was even more indistinguishable from his own.

The moment the train entered the tunnel Zero turned around quickly, getting some of us to jump back in surprise from the shock.

His cape covered most of his body except for a white filled cravat and a black mask with an opaque indigo, featureless spot that covered where his face would be. Under it was a gold bird sigil like on Y/N's shoulder stretched beneath it.

"Greetings, I am Zero!" He announced while Y/N smirked next to him.

(Y/N POV)

Shocked expressions with some gasping, you predicted it perfectly brother.

Now let's knock them dead Lulu.

(Kallen POV)

"What did you think of my tour of the settlement?" Zero asked to our shock.

That's what he had us wait twenty minutes on this train for!

"His tour?" Minami said incredulously at his words while Tamaki scoffed.

"To think the one who called the ceasefire was a ridiculous guy like this." Sugiyama muttered.

"I wanted you all to be in the right mind to grasp the both of them. The Ghetto and the Settlement!" Zero declared while spreading his arms wide, revealing a dark purple and gold suit underneath his cape.

"We already know them well enough!" I snapped at him.

"Kallen." Ohgi said sternly as he looked back at me before stepping forward.

I wanted to give him a piece of my mind, but it seemed Ohgi had something to say judging by his expression.

"As Kallen said, we know the difference between us and the Britannians already. It's a very harsh gap and one that seems hopeless to cross or close up. That is why we resist them." Ohgi said with a determined expression.

"True it is, a good reason to resist them." Y/N said while nodding.

"Ultimately that's wrong." Zero said, shocking us all. "Britannia will not be defeated by terrorism!"

"Defeat?" Ohgi said incredulously while I was reaching my boiling point.

"Terrorism is nothing more than childish nuisance to Britannia that the Kōzuki Cell, the JLF, or all the other resistance cells in Japan have tried and failed over the past seven years! If it continues this way Britannian will permanently break the Japanese people's resolve like they have in their Areas for centuries!" Zero declared.

"So you're telling me that everything we have done, everything that we have sacrificed is worthless!" I spat out venomously.

Hearing that all the effort that I, Naoto, and us all had going against Britannia was for nothing had me fucking livid! As much as I wanted to knock Zero's damned mask off, I was tempted to give him a piece of my mind.

Yet my target changed to Y/N as he chuckled.

"It was not all for nothing though, your actions and of other resistance cells have been inspiration. Not one of them and Naoto died for nothing, they inspired more action with a passion against Britannia that refused to break for this long. Adding more sparks to a fire like yours Kallen that allowed you to resist for this long." Y/N said with a smile.

...W-What?!

Again with this?!

"Didn't think anyone could have done that twice." Tamaki muttered, stepping behind Minami as I glared at him.

"He has a point though, we might have inspired action for this long but has anything changed." Inoue said before placing a hand on my shoulder. "But what we have done hasn't been for nothing."

I looked at her for a moment before nodding and looking away.

"Well said, both of you. Nothing has changed and your actions will very well not continue to work as it is. The only way to destroy this system is war with Britannia itself, not the Britannians! To never involve or harm the civilians! Prepare yourselves, to met out justice!" Zero declared.

"That's easy for you to say while hiding behind that mask!" I shouted out, getting some of the others to nod with me.

"She's right about that." Sugiyama said.

"Show us your face than." Yoshida said.

"Lose the damned mask already!" Tamaki shouted.

Y/N just sighed as Inoue and Minami tried to get us to calm down.

"Yes, can you please show us your face already." Ohgi said.

"Very well, let me show you." Zero said getting me to smile at that. "However let me show you not my face, but instead my power. If I make the impossible possible you'll start to believe me, won't you?"

Okay that didn't go the way I had thought, but I should have.

Yet making the impossible possible...we couldn't have won at Shinjuku without them. Without the ceasefire we would have been killed by a tank.

Without them Clovis would still be alive.

Without them all of Shinjuku would have been razed to the ground and we would have been the cause.

Zero and Y/N lead us to the first victory over Britannia in over seven years.

That might very well garner some trust if he can do it again...for now. And it seemed the rest were having similar thoughts.

"What do you have in mind then?" Ohgi asked.

"Rescuing Private Suzaku Kururugi from execution tomorrow while being transported, that is our next goal." Y/N said, shocking us all.

"I plan to do so in the middle of transit, no civilians or anyone getting injured at all!" Zero said declared, shocking us even more.

"Right in the middle of guards and being televised?" Minami asked incredulously.

"You're both insane if you think we're pulling that off with you!" Tamaki shouted.

"You don't have to volunteer at all then, just that there was a greater chance of failing at Shinjuku." Y/N said confidently.

"And if you succeed you'll discredit those damned Britannian's on TV!" I said with a grin as realization dawned on me and Y/N nodded. "They can't deny what happened and they'll know that he was a scapegoat."

It was suicidal sure, but so was the fighting in Shinjuku. If he can do this and pull it off, Britannia will not be able to downplay the damage Zero and Y/N would do by humiliating them on live television!

And they way they said it makes it sound like both knew that they could pull it off...I actually want to see if they can.

"There are easier ways to show that we can trust you, but you can't stand for someone innocent paying for your crimes?" Ohgi asked, getting Zero to nod.

"Indeed, I refuse to let any innocent on either side suffer for my own actions. I shot Clovis, it needed to be done to end the bloodshed in Shinjuku and prevent further blood from being shed in his name." Zero said and Y/N looked a little grime at his words.

Right, Y/N said they would answer for what he did.

"And you said the two of you would say what Clovis had been planning was disinherit worthy even beyond the poison gas?" I asked, getting Y/N to sigh and Zero to turn to face him.

"Y/N found out the information before and confirmed it after the ceasefire from Clovis himself. Yet we know fully little of the true depths of their crimes." Zero said.

"I did." Y/N said before turning to face all of us. "The poison gas, it was part of a work between Clovis la Britannia and Prime Minister Schneizel el Britannia. Work in human experimentation."

...Fucking hell!

He was right on what he said on being less than Hannes gua Brittania, if only marginally.

That was the action of a monster in human skin.

These were actual war crimes! Something Britannia itself didn't dare cross!

It was chaos amongst the shock at finding that two princes and one of them the prime minister of the empire were involved in human experimentation!

"If Clovis wasn't dead before, I'd say we would have killed him ourselves!" Tamaki shouted.

"Same." Sugiyama said far more calmly, but his glare alone would have killed anyone.

"Both of them were involved." Inoue said incredulously.

"We only got evidence Clovis was involved directly here.Using the Japanese considered dregs of society or captured resistance members. Even using death row Britannian prisoners for them. Anyone that would disrupt the status quo." Zero said.

"Screw their status quo!" I growled out as Ohgi turned to Y/N.

"This extra person you mentioned to me and Kallen, they were involved in the experiments. Were they a subject?" He asked, getting me to calm down slightly as Y/N nodded.

"A woman from the E.U. who came here. She wouldn't say much why, but when I first found her she was bound in a straight jacket and drugged. She had managed to escape when you took the gas, Clovis ordered the massacre to hide the evidence and reclaim the woman and canister if possible. Gave her a phone to contact us  at a later date." Y/N said.

"Then another reason why I am glad the bastard is dead and at least something else good came from it." I said honestly.

At least it seemed if accidentally me and Nagata had freed someone from the experiments then. No one deserved such a fate.

And Zero avenged everyone he experimented on by killing the damned prince.

"Unfortunately there is nothing else to deal with in matters of experimentation." Zero said while shaking his head, shocking us. "Clovis mismanaged the locations and another member of staff knows them. Clovis also admitted Schneizel operated through proxies that couldn't be tracked for them. The only solace is that they are no doubt in chaos without Clovis."

"He's right, if they couldn't get anything at the very least they've likely shut down such things in or around the Settlement. As much as I hate it, they probably buried as much information as they could." Minami said, which I growled at that before nodding.

The trail on those bastards have gone cold and Schneizel sounds and most likely is a hell of a lot more competent than Clovis ever was. So there is experimentation going on our people somewhere...

"But I will promise you one thing, if there is even a piece of concrete evidence of any locations we will raze them to the ground and salt the rubble." Zero said, getting Ohgi to nod and I smirked at that.

While they might have buried themselves, as soon as we find the holes those working on this have hidden in they were dead!

"Now onto tomorrow, it will begin the long process of our end goal. The freedom of Japan and a world without the suffering under the Britannian Empire! Whether they be it the Numbers or the empire's own subjects themselves!" Zero said, gesturing to the Britannians in train car behind us.

...What?!

"Are you implying that they are suffering while they benefit sucking entire nations like ours dry!" Yoshida said angrily to which I completely agree with. Something I completely agree with!

Before I or anyone else can say anything, Y/N silenced us with a glare I haven't seen the likes from Naoto.

Even than it was usually against those who decided to be foolish enough to mess with me, although I never needed his help in those situations it was appreciated...

"You all have the right to feel that way, but the civilians on the bottom of the ladder and victims of an establishment from the nobility and supported by the likes of the Imperial family like Schneizel, Clovis, and the Emperor Charles himself! Being told they are above the Numbers when they are just tools for the Nobility amusement and conquest while they go about their lives unaware they are any different than the very people the believe are falsely superior too!" Zero declared as Y/N's expression softened.

"Even then and I would love to see most of the nobility and Imperial family dead, there are some good ones who don't believe the classiest and elites bullshit the propaganda likes to spit out. Even among the lowest levels there are just people who want to live their lives like I'm sure you saw Kallen. And they're among those persecuted who are just as bad as the Britannians." Y/N said, getting me to pause before I could speak again.

...Shit he is right somewhat, more so after yesterday.

Milly, someone who I never want to alone in with a room again and was apart of the nobility were nice to me and so were most of the fellow members of the student council, still want to knock Lelouch's teeth in. He still loved for his sister who was the very opposite of Britannia's view of strength, and the entire council shared the same care towards her.

As for my whore of a stepmother she was very much an example what is wrong with the Britannian's nobility and now I know of three of the Imperial Family members committing inhuman atrocities against their own subjects to.

Plus I've the depths of some of those Japanese are willing to do against our own people just out of desperation or to take their aggression on someone they are more viable to actually hurt than Britannnia...

"Kallen, are you alright?" Ohgi asked, placing a hand on my shoulder and snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I'm fine, their words have some merit. But it will not change the fact I want to see their control of Japan gone." I said tersely.

"Never was insinuating otherwise." Y/N said with a smile.

"As much as I hate to agree, we've also seen some shit in the ghettos from our own." Tamaki said with a frown.

"That's trues, and a first that you admit to agreeing with them." Yoshida said with a smile.

"Shut up." Tamaki said in reply.

"And something you personally experienced with the JLF." Inoue said, looking at Y/N. "You're the only survivor of that part of the mission you told Kallen, the last with Britannian heritage."

I remember being told more about this last night from Ohgi, and it was pieced together with what Y/N told me.

Yet to think there is possible someone willing to do it in the JLF of all groups...and would they try to do the same to others for just being part Britannian....

"So you are well aware of what happened." Zero said.

"Only most of it was classier and what we heard was from a former member of the JLF, and as far as I'm aware is no longer among us." Ohgi said, looking to Inoue who nodded in conformation.

"Well they're right, the scout who shot me in the chest admitted as such and was high in the chain of command. There was supposed to be two of them, but he got cold feet ultimately passed the objective too after shot." Y/N said as he placed a hand on his chest armor, right where I had seen the scar. "Kallen has already seen the mark, but the scout was killed and I was mistaken for a Britannian child taken hostage."

"You wouldn't be alive without their help." I said, piecing the rest together as he nodded.

He hid out of Japan for a year in fear of whoever ordered the hit, I don't blame him for choosing to run.

At the least he came back and seemingly had more success in freeing Japan this week than they have tried in seven years...never thought that I would be against the JLF in anything.

But I suppose it's just against whoever was petty enough to order a child killed for being part Britannian.

Might not even be alive anymore, but screw them.

"No problem with the JLF themselves, besides the good news is that we secured the Kusanagi-no-Tachi back to the Japanese." Y/N said with a smile, shocking the rest of us.

"So it really was a Regalia." Sugiyama said in shock.

"Yes and according to information gathered by Y/N all three Regalia are currently in the hands of the Japanese." Zero said and I swore I heard Tamaki hold back a cheer as I grinned.

The Britannians take pride in taking down out culture, but to hear that three of the biggest items of importance to the Japanese slipped past their noses was excellent news to hear.

Especially since they were back where they rightfully belonged, to the people of Japan and more than likely under the protection of Kyōto House!

"Sadly it will seem like our time is up." Y/N said as he slipped his mask back on. "From now on all of you can call me Y/N or Fukuyama. But please call me the latter or Yamoto to others in or out of your cell."

"Of course." Ohgi said, giving Tamaki a quick look before facing Zero. "What about tomorrow?"

"If anyone has the sense and wishes to see me back up my claims, contact me using that phone at 23:00 and I'll be at that location at midnight! If not make sure to stay tuned for the broadcast, as nothing will be the same again! For Britannia and Japan!" Zero declared as Y/N stood in front of him, reaching for something in his jacket.

"Until then, farewell!" Y/N said as the train came to a stop.

Throwing down something and creating a cloud of smoke that filled the car!

You got to be kidding me, smoke pellets!

It cleared out quickly and I ran ahead of everyone out of the train car to look for any sign of Zero and Y/N.

The area was still dark as it was a tunnel, but there was no sign of anyone waiting to get on or anyone else getting off. Nor was there any sign that the two of them were still here.

Dang it.

Still...what they said about tomorrow and saving Kururugi...not only will they humiliate Britannia Zero was right on nothing will be the same again.

If we can pull this off, it could be the first true step to freeing Japan after seven years!

As much as I still don't fully trust either of them...I'm all in for this!

A Japan free from Britannia rule, what we all fought and died for...it may finally be able to become a reality.

(Y/N POV -Tokyo Tower Observation Platform - Half an hour later)

"All things considered I think the meeting went well, we might actually be needing an extra hand on the job just incase." I said with a smile as I hung around the Tokyo Tower Observation Plateform in civilian clothes, really the only one here.

Geassed a janitor to allow me this portion of the viewing deck for myself, well accept for a certain few. No cameras here and I'd be ready to take care of anyone else who slipped past him.

"Indeed, it wouldn't be too much out of the realm of possibility." Lelouch said from the phone. "Are you sure that you can prequre a second MR-1 in that amount of time?"

"I can do it, be done for dinner, and pinch some drinks like on the list I made." I said with a smile, getting Lelouch to sigh.

"Fine, I'm not going to ask how. But why did you head back?" Lelouch asked me.

"Something that I need to do real quick back at the tower, should only a few minutes more. That and so more time for myself to prepare for tomorrow and my part." I said with a small smile.

Lelouch was silent for what felt like a minute or two before he sighed.

"Just please don't take too long Y/N, and prepare for an inquiry from Nunnally when you get back." Lelouch said.

"Oh I'm more than prepared." I said before looking down to the ground. "Talk to you latter Lelouch."

"Take care." Lelouch said before I ended the call and slipped my phone into my pocket

Personally I think the meeting when well, we still didn't have everyone's trust at least fully. Yet that is to be expected.

But tomorrow, it's going to show we mean it and save Suzaku from his fate.

Showing Britannia that this revolution is not one they can easily quash like the others.

The first step in making the world a true better place, for both Lelouch and Nunnally.

Every moment over the past few years has lead to this and Shinjuku, once we get to momentum going tomorrow there is no going back not just for us but the whole world as well.

Speaking of which.

"I take it that you were half expecting me to hang back around." I said as I heard someone approaching me, easing up as I glanced to see who. "Tamaki gave it away, I take it he insisted on double checking the platform."

"Ohgi disagreed, but Yoshida and me suggested a quick sweep around just incase. I figured that you would hang back just like you did back then." The figure said as they let out a small laugh. "I haven't seen Kallen this excited for a while."

"Like I had hoped." I said with a smile as I shook my head. "Honestly I was just hanging back to clear my head, I didn't really expect you to come seek me out. It's good to see that you're alright."

"I'm doing better now." The figure said.

"I imagine and I had hoped...so what do I call you then?" I asked generally curious.

"Everyone that knew that name is either dead or dead to me...I prefer my current name like your own. But I doubt the name you use is your true name." They said, getting me to chuckle.

Welp, they had a point.

"As I said to Kallen, it's my grandmother's name while my Britannian name is also from my grandfather's side. Even back then my last name was an alias, but I've always been Y/N underneath it all." I said as the figure walked next to me.

"A fancy way of deflecting the question." The said, leaning against the railing.

"Like you haven't done so already Inoue." I said with a smile, getting the blue haired woman to shake her head at that.

"Fair enough." Inoue said with a sigh.

"So Naoto took you in after that day I take it." I asked, getting her to nod. "Did he know?"

"He was the only one and I intend to make it stay that way, but it seems like you can keep a secret already. What about that woman that was with you?" Inoue asked.

"My sensei, she has other matters to deal with. She'll make self known when things start to get off the ground. But works better covertly." I said, which was actually somewhat truthfully.

Sayoko was frightenly effective at moving behind the scenes when she wishes or needs to be.

"Kind of got that impression when she killed everyone back then." Inoue said while shaking her head. "So that scar really did reopen."

"You suspected it was me years ago?" I said, getting her to smile.

"Your features especially the violet eyes aren't really that common in Japan, I didn't really put things together until you told Kallen your identity. Have you seen any other the others?" Inoue asked as I shook my head.

"Scattered to the winds in the fallout of the tower, some alright and some dead since then. Many simply vanished like you did." I said with a shrug. "Yet you are still going against Britannia, wouldn't have expected anything less."

"Of course, I just want to live my life and see Japan free. But you and this Zero have much bigger ambitions in mind?" Inoue asked with a frown.

Prodding for answers I see.

"Got nothing to hide, we just want to make a better world for those that suffered. We care nothing about governing it ourselves, just to make peace in our time. Wether it's been from Britannia, the Chinese Federation, or the E.U.. I spent some months in a refugee colony in Germany...despite all their talk of democracy some of the member state's conditions for us are no better than the Ghettos. At least they make sure everything still functions and is bare minimum healthy most of the time. At least in the settlements I stayed at." I sighed out while shaking my head while Inoue frowned. "Freeing Japan has always been a primary goal of ours, and making sure Britannia can't retake it."

"It's disheartening to hear what it's like out there." She said while shaking her head before smiling. "Yet to think the kid Tōdōh brought in as a scout would grow into someone who could potentially be a leader against Britannia. Someone who could create a miracle like he did."

"Couldn't have done it alone or taking the Lancelot Club. But I wonder what Tōdōh-sensei would think of me now. I'd like to think he would be proud...while giving me  a lecture." I said, getting Inoue to laugh.

"Maybe, you knew the man much better than most of us." Inoue said while shaking her head. "He still thinks you're dead, he and the Four Holy Swords."

"He does, though I think only Urabe and Chiba actually cared as much. Not sure as much for Senba or Asahina." I said while sighing.

"Are you planning on ever telling him at all?" Inoue asked.

"When the time comes, things are about get even more chaotic and knowing how stubborn Tōdōh-sensei can be he'll be fine." I said, leaning against the railing. "And how about we both be there when it happens."

"Why, he wouldn't know me at all?" Inoue questioned.

"He cares about his subordinates, might have been in the bottom rung but we both came under his command. I just think that it would help to know that at least you were okay." I said before looking down. "Ultimately it's up to you, won't push it if that does come to pass. Besides, your truth is probably much easier to hide than mine."

Considering Clovis found out, it was more of a fact than a statement at this point.

"I thought as much with the mask, but you're probably right." Inoue before looking down at the ground. "Seems like the evening rush is coming through. How did you even get this part of the viewing platform alone?"

"Greased palms and I can be persuasive when I want, but I'm nowhere near good as Zero is at this." I admitted while checking my phone.

Time was nearly up anyway.

"Doubt it." Inoue said with a smile. "Yoshida will probably be up here soon looking for me."

"Don't worry, this conversation was between the dead and well they tell no tales. Besides I was taking in the views before tomorrow." I said, getting her to nod as I began to walk away with a wave. "And until we meet again."

Inoue just nodded before she looked over at Tokyo Tower as people began to kill onto the viewing platform. I slipped past them before noticing Yoshida heading in the same direction.

"You might want spread word in Shinjuku to keep an eye on the news about Kururugi's transport. Aside from us, you don't want to miss it in general." I whispered, getting his attention before vanishing into the crowd.

With the evening rush there was no use in finding me.

Soon walking out of the observation plateform...and trying to remember where the hell I parked. I think it was in Section C?

Oh whatever, it'll take a minute to find it anyway. Plenty of time to double check the list for tomorrow.

Everything will be ready for our grand debut tomorrow.

(Chapter 12 end)

Hey guys Mukuro7 here and I hoped that you all enjoyed this chapter.

Some good time for Code Geass between Lost Stories and finally news of Rozé of the Recapture.

Here Y/N and Lelouch make their debut to the Kōzuki cell which I think turned out fairly well, Jeremiah and Villetta getting some payback at Kewell, and Y/N having a conversation with Milly to clear their heads about recent events and some playful banter between the two and inadvertently scaring off Maya. I did mention that the two of them were on a similar wavelength. That and like Y/N warned Kallen, she is greedy.

That and having a talk with someone in a bit of a similar situation to himself, Naomi Inoue.

Very little is known about her even in universe. I believe in one of the novels for Code Geass, Red Tracks actually bring up no one else in the Kōzuki Cell knew anything about her. Ohgi believing that even her name was just an alias.

Here in this story she was a former member of JLF like Y/N, just close to the bottom in rank and presumed deceased only meeting Y/N briefly years before.

Will be interesting to write.

Anyway and onto Y/N's costume, it's mainly based on a mixture of Nero's outfit from DMC 4 and Zero's costume from Nightmare of Nunnally which was more armored with a more Japanese take here. And I already made clear the significance of the okami mask last chapter. He'll be with this costume for probably the majority of R1.

Anyway next chapter which shall be out soon will be the grand debut of Lelouch and Y/N to the world, where they will shake Britannia and free Suzaku. Hope you all enjoy it when it comes out.

Finally as an aside...does anyone know where I can read Guren and Lancelot cause apparently that story is canon and should hold some more ideas. Also need to check out the Oz series.

That should be all for now.

Until next time, ciao!
