Chapter 1:
"Wake up Harry!"
You walked down stairs, hair brushed and tied into a pony tail with casual outdoor clothes, to see Dudley slammed Harry's door. You rubbed your arm as Harry got out. "Where are we going?" Harry asked, getting his glasses on. "The zoo.." You said quietly. Harry huffed and went to get changed.
"(Y/N)! Come eat breakfast!" "Yes ma'am." You walked to the table and sat next to your "father". "Are you seriously wearing a hoodie out on this weather?" Vernon asked as he ate his pastry like a pig. "She wears it since you REFUSE to get her a support animal, dear." Petunia chimmed in before you could answer.
Harry walked in and sat next to you. "What about your medicine?" Vernon asked. "She's ALLERGIC to the medicine they proscribed." Harry nearly snapped. "Watch your mouth boy." Vernon snarled. You felt a nervous break down coming before Dudley slid a glass of orange juice to you.
"You look pale! Drink before I paint you tan!" You quickly nodded before sipping the juice down. "Everyone quickly eat. We want to beat morning traffic." Petunia alarmed as she went to do the dishes. You felt sick to your stomach as Dudley and Vernon ate like starved hogs.
Harry nudged you as he ate. You slowly ate until Dudley snatched your plate. "Too slow!" Harry glared at Dudley as he kept eating. You rubbed the fabric of your hoodie as everyone started getting up. You followed and climbed into the crowded vechile.

"What's wrong (Y/N)? Scared of a stupid monkey? Or are you scared of being eaten by a LION?"
Harry wanted to strangle Dudley as he laughed at your puppy eyes looking down. "A lion wouldn't eat (Y/N). A lion would FEAST on you, however." Harry chimmed with a smirk. Dudley crossed hia arms as the two parents lead everyone to the reptile house.
"(Y/N). Look. Its a snake." Petunia pointed out, ushering you next to Dudley. "Why do you even like snakes?" Vernon asked like the supreme judge. "They... are really cool." You answered as your eyes followed the light shimming on the viper's scales.
Dudley rolled his eyes before walking off with his parents. "Hey. It's ok. I like snakes." Harry reassured. "No you don't Harry. But thank you for trying." You replied in a sad tone. Harry huffed as he looked at the snake.
"Why do you like snakes?"
"I feel like they're the only thing I can talk to. You know. Since they're mysterious and silent."
