"Is this where you live, Phantom?" Yuzu asked as she stared at her surroundings. Futuristic devices and computers surrounded her, all of the electronic devices seeming before their time.

"I'm on the run, so I need to hide......but now you know my secret" Yuya replied, sweatdropping a bit at the upset (h/c) haired girl beside him.

"Here's an idea! Wanna teach at my cram school? We'll pay 500 yen an hour!" Yuzu excitedly exclaims, a wide smile on her features.

"That's cheap!" Both Yuya and (Y/n) exclaim, staring at the girl in disbelief.

"Sorry, I don't have the time. There's something I need to do" Yuya states, giving Yuzu an apologetic look.

"Something you have to do?" Yuzu asked, curiosity evident in her voice.

"Something very important... The future depends on it..." (Y/n) stated, nodding her head as the words left her mouth, stepping beside Yuya.

"Does it... have something to do with hacking Leo Corporation?"

"I'm using LC's solid vision to search for a card. Genesis Omega Dragon. That card... will determine the fate of the world!" Yuya states, the serious look on his face never faltering.

"Genesis Omega... Is that a treasure card?" Yuzu asks, her eyes moving from the ground to the sweatdropping teens in front of her.

"You don't need to know!" Yuya stated quickly, his sweating increasing.

"So you just need to find that card? And then you'll come to teach at Syu Zo Duel School?" Yuzu asked, hopefully.

"I can't promise that" Yuya stated, looking back to the pink haired girl.

"But we already concluded a contract!!" Yuzu whined, pulling a piece of paper from her pocket, "See? I used sleight of hand!"

"That's... I autographed that!" Yuya exclaimed, pointing at the piece of paper in Yuzu's hand. (Y/n) facepalmed at her friend.

"See? It's a deal!" Yuzu stated, holding the contract out for the two to see. (Y/n) grabbed the paper, reading over it.

"It's legit" Sighed the girl as she passed the paper back to Yuzu.

"Until we find that card, I'll be your manager for 1,000 yen an hour" Yuzu stated, surprising the two in front of her.

"What?! I can't pay that!" Yuya exclaimed.

"That's what you're worried about?" Questioned the (s/c) skinned girl beside him.

"I suggest you pay me 1000 yen, and I'll let you be my manager" Yuya smirked at his proposition, paying no attention to his annoyed partner beside him.

"Why would I pay?!" Why would they argue about something like this at a time like this?

"I don't care either way. I don't need a manager" Replied the tomato.

"Hmm... Gyaah! Fine! I'll pay 100 yen a day! But not until I'm rich!" Yuzu begrudgingly exclaimed. Yuya stumbled over the proclamation.

"That's stingy!"

"You've spent over half the scale discussing this!"

"Wa Ha Ha! Now that I'm your manager......we're gonna look for that card asap!" Yuzu triumphantly declared, her foot high atop (Y/n)'s desk, causing said girl to freak out over it and Yuya to nervously sweatdrop.

'Will those three be ok?' Yuto nervously asks the girl beside him.

'I don't think so' (X/D) says, a nervous smile on her face.

"Argh!" Shingo's growl bounced off the walls as he sped down the hall.

"Where are you going?" Sora asked him, Shun and Silver standing behind him.

"The training room! If I'd been able to jump and get that last Action Card, I woulda won!" Shingo replied, causing the other three to sigh.

"I think the problem's bigger than that... But something is bothering me" Sora's tone was serious, whatever was on his mind must be really important (or not).

"What is it?" Shun looked at him simply. Maybe the real plot will start showing?

"Yuya Sakaki and (Y/n) (L/n). We came here a month ago. We're supposed to search for Yuya and (Y/n) because they're hacking the system...... But there's no sign in the records that they have abused the system. Instead, they're saving people faster than the Rescue Squad"

"What are you trying to say?" There was a pause, a small one.

"I think...... the president is hiding something" Sora finally stated, taking a lick of his lollipop.

"I don't care. I just want to fight real, white-hot matches. Yuya Sakaki enjoys duels, and I hate guys like that!" Shun fussed, walking away from Sora and Silver, Silver trying to grab his hand. Shun yanked it away as he walked off, furious at the thought of Yuya.

"Don't mind him... He's always been like that, stubborn in his own way" Silver stated, looking at the ground.

"Nah, I just feel bad for you"

"Eh?!"

"Okay, then! Let's start with catchphrases!"

"Huh?"

"What?" Yeah... here we are... Yuzu's taking this manager thing to heart. You should've stopped her...

"Your last one was pretty bad. 'The fun's just begun'? As your manager, that worries me"

"As my manager, do you know ANYTHING about duels?" Yuya asked Yuzu. Unfortunately, (Y/n) had to sit through this whole conversation, considering there weren't many places to go. Luckily, she was able to somewhat work on something to take her mind off of the conversation. It still wasn't enough.

"The more appropriate question would be: Do you understand anything that's going on?" The (h/c) haired girl added, rolling her eyes.

"Of course! My dad runs a duel school! And I've got a brain like a calculator! I even got second place in the Mental Arithmetic championships! And it was a close match!" This caused (Y/n) to roll her eyes once again, an irk mark on her face.

'Don't. Jealousy has no room in completing what we came for'

"I'm not jealous!" (Y/n) whisper-shouted at the voice, knowing all too well that teasing tone.

'Sure you aren't'

"Oh... That's cool. So who won the championship?" Yuya asked Yuzu, avoiding any arguments from his partner.

"Um, I think it was-"

Bleep!

"Saved by the alarm" (Y/n) silently commented, a small smile on her face.

"What's that?"

"The computer picked up something. It surveys world-wide net activities...... And notifies me when info about us or Genesis Omega shows up" Yuya starts, walking over to the giant computer.

"It also gives us access to any type of information, including search histories and important documents" (Y/n) stated while standing next to him, a smile on her face.

"It's a post to an underground website. There's a video" the smile on (Y/n)'s face grew wider with each passing word, every image on the computer making her happier and happier.

"Haven't had one of those in a while, huh?"

"Hmm?" The tomato beside her started the video, absolutely curious as to what was contained on it.

"...Who are you?" Sounded a voice from the computer, the person all too familiar to Yuzu.

"OH! They've started a duel!" The blush on Yuzu faces blasted a darker shade of red with each passing moment, the embarrassment being way too much to take.

"Uh-huh..." was all she could say, the (s/c) skinned person beside her giving a curiously-confused look at Yuzu's reaction. That's when it hit her, (Y/n)'s furiously, quickly attempts to silent her friend, but her attempts would be futile.

"Talk about weak. And that old guy lost already" Too late. Damage's been done.

"Dad!" Yuzu exclaimed, covering her red face with her hands.

"What?!" Left Yuya's mouth, the look on his face mirroring his thinking, causing (Y/n) sweatdropped.

"Agh... This is gonna kill the school's wage!"

"Hey...... We've got bigger problems" Yuya stated, his attention going back to the screen.

"Way bigger" the (h/c) haired girl added, her attention looking towards the video as well.

"This message is for Yuya Sakaki. If you want this man, come to Sakka Stadium Valley" the transmition ended soon after, the cries of an outraged Yuzu sounding soon after.

"Wait! What just happened?! Did he take my dad hostage?!" Yuzu dramatically exclaimed, slamming her fists on the table in front of her.

'Ugh, you shouldn't have gotten involved...' Yuto sounded, his figure along with (X/D)'s appearing to (Y/n) and Yuya.

"I told you this was a bad idea" the (e/c) eyed girl blatantly stated, placing a hand on her hip and rolling her eyes dully at the scene.

"Hey! This isn't my fault!" Yuya pouted in response, placing his hands behind his head.

'Of course it isn't' (X/D) sarcastically repeated, crossing her arms along with Yuto.

"If they'll attack someone I don't even know, then they're merciless" Yuya stated, ignoring the sarcasm from his friend's counterpart.

"Send the video to the police!" Yuzu's voice shouted, her fists slamming at a constant pace on the desk, something (Y/n) did not appreciate.

"I can't. It's set to disappear once played"

"Plus, we wouldn't be able to contact the police. They'd arrest us too" (Y/n) explained, stuffing her hands in her pockets.

"This is awful! Yuya! (Y/n)!" Yuzu's shouting was getting louder and louder, a constant worry tugging her forward.

"I know, I know! I'll go!" Yuya stated, pulling up a map of Maiami city, "Let's see..."

"We know the place! He said the Soccer Stadium!"

"No he didn't. This is the place he meant!" Yuya stated as (Y/n) pulled up the coordinates, "Deception Valley on the outskirts of Maiami City"

"Huh? Really?" Yuzu asked, knowing that wasn't what she heard.

"He was using coded language. Within city limits, there aren't any Soccer Stadiums in valleys" Yuya started, looking over to (Y/n) for assistance.

"But Sucker is a Magic Technique whereby you intentionally act like you messed up, creating a way to throw someone, except who the message was meant for, off" (Y/n) smirked lightly, passing it back to Yuya.

"In other words, the valley of lies? If he sent a warning over the net and named a place everyone knows, then anybody might show up" He finished, a smile forming on his face. Yuzu's eyes lit up in realization.

"Oh, I see..."

"So you came, huh?" Came a voice. There he stood, Shun Kurosaki, a tied up guy beside him. Deception Valley was barren and dry, almost like a desert or something.

"Yuzu!" The guy exclaimed happily, trying to fight against his restraints.

"Dad!" Yuzu happily shouted, making the next words come out her mouth surprise them all, "How could you lose that duel?!"

"Huh?! That's what you're upset about?!" Syuzo, Yuzu's father, asked, his eyes widening.

"Only a coward... takes hostages!" Yuzu pointed at Shun as she said this, making (Y/n) facepalm.

"Yuya Sakaki... Now that you're here, I have no need for this man. You may take him with you" Yuya gave a knowing look in Shun's direction, waiting for the rest, "But first you must quench... my thirst"

"Whoa, kinky" (Y/n) commented, slightly smirking at the look on her friend's face and Shun's rolling of his eyes.

"Action Field... Deployed!" The barrier of the field surrounded them as it formed at the command of Kurosaki. A giant tree trunk came up from the ground, taking Syuzo up with it.

"Dad!!" Yuzu shouted as he was taken up, worry filling her eyes.

"Four Action Cards are hanging in midair!" Shun exclaimed, watching as Yuya looked up in amazement. (Y/n) gazed over to his face, a small smile and light blush coating her face.

'This isn't the time to make dreamy eyes at him' whispered (X/D) in a teasing voice, making the (h/l) haired girl's blush darken.

"In other words... this is a midair duel!" Yuya's words brought (Y/n) out of her thoughts. Finally, she looked around, examining the field.

"This looks like it'll be fun..."

I had this done weeks ago, but then it got deleted >~<, meaning all my jokes and Yuya/reader moments were deleted. Sorry! Next chapter will (hopefully) be out soon.
