A fist colided with its opponent's face.

"You dare speak of my family's name, you filthy scum!" A soldier was shouting at another.

"Your family had it coming!" Blood was rushing out of his nose while he glared at his fellow soldier.

"I'm going to ki-" He was cut of with a solid blow to the cheek, same with the other soldier.

Cold blue eyes bored into their eyes glaring at them.

"Falcon." They both nodded their heads in acknowledgement. They didn't dare to disobey the warning in his eyes. Falcon held the most superior rank amoung the soldiers, with a lot of respect. Although he rarely ever spoke a word, his whole body gave you an order to obey and serve your duty.

The fight between the 2 soldiers were unnecessary. The family of the one soldier, were in a financial crisis, they spended too much money on gambling. The other soldier decided to mock him.

Falcon turned around and heard the two scurrying back to their work. They shouldn't cause unnecessary problems, there were real problems coming their way, fast. Rumours were spreading like a wildfire around the village that the King himself was coming. Around about 2 days from here. Apparently he's coming to talk to the village's chief.

Falcon knew, without doubt, that the village will not surrender itself that easily. The soldiers were trained, and not known to stand back. This rebellion started just about 5 years ago. In the passing years the village got stronger and more men joined the growing army. They learned to voice their opinion, and not to lay back and accept things easily without knowing the consequences.

The day went on, soldiers training, products selling, children playing and night nearing.

At last the village was clouded in darkness, the moon shining bright. Falcon was on his horse, riding home, when something stopped him. A voice, a pleading, panicked voice screaming for help. It was soon muffled to silence by something.

Falcon was on his feet immediately, tying his horse and then quickly moving down the street.

"Protect those around you" Her father said.

Rounding a corner, his eyes burned with anger by what he saw. A girl was pinned up against a wall by a man trying to undress her. The whole scene screamed one word: Rape. The action despised by many, Falcon included.

Fury boiled inside him as hy pushed the man off of her, gripping his neck, choking him. A quick blow at the face, stomach, and knees, caused the man to sink away into unconsciousness. Meanwhile the girl slided down onto the floor, crying.

Falcon moved towards her. He pulled the girl into a standing position, before looking directly into her eyes. "Go home. Fast, before another man tend to do the same thing." He murmered lowly.

The girl nodded. "T-thank you, Falcon."
She had seen him many times, training soldiers and riding his horse. She was thankful that he was nearby.

Falcon nodded. The girl soon made her way towards her house.

Falcon turned around before taking the man's pants off, and using it to tie him up. Taking his knife from his boot, he carved the word, 'rape', onto the man's hand. In the morning his dignity will fly away in the wind. The people will see a man in his underclothes, tied up, with the accusation on his hand, and they will know what he did. Such vile creatures should be punished. Falcon left the rest for the Police to handle. He was just making their job easier.

The police already knew who the savior was, when they find a marking of sorts on the victim's hand.

Falcon already untied his horse and was soon resuming his way home.

The night was calm, the whole village was asleep. They thought tomorrow would be a normal day, they didn't thinj that maybe the King left earlier and was now a day ride away, ready to take their village.

As the moon listened to the cricket's chirping and the night owl's calling, the sun soon followed, making his way up to the horizon. It bathed the whole village in a soft golden glow, waking the chicken rooster so that his morning melody danced in the wind.

The early morning people were already on the farmlands, collecting food for the day.

Falcon was on his horse, riding through the village, when the chief stopped him.

"Falcon, I need to have a word with you."

Falcon dismounted the horse, and led it along while he walked side by side along the chief.

The chief glanced at Falcon. "Warning came that the King left early and would be arriving tonight. Tell the soldiers to be on guard and watch everything. We don't want to have a fight in our village, fights are for the warfield."

Falcon nodded and bidded the chief a good day by shaking his hand. Arriving at the training camp he blowed the horn so that he alarmed the soldiers to come here. Just a few minutes passed and all 800 soldiers were standing in perfect format, lined up in groups of 100's.

The colonel and general came into view and made their way to stand beside their warrior.  They exchanged plans and word was send out for the soldiers here and the others on guard. The whole village now knew that the King would be arriving tonight.

Night came and the soldiers on guard could hear the King's horses neighing.

Falcon stood with them on the platform that overlooked the gate. He held hatred for this day. The king demanded respect. Falcon wasn't willing to give respect to the man he despised. Respect came with trust and had to be earned. No one in this village trusted the King. Falcon made sure of that.

Soon the King's messenger demanded entrance. Falcon gave the sign with a disgusted sigh. The gate opened and the King and his army was led through.

The king looked over at Falcon and was surprised of the man's size, he was smaller and leaner than he expected. 'Maybe this would be an easy mission to dispose of the warrior' he thought.
