I squeezed my eyes shut as the sun light was peaking through the curtains, I blinked my eyes a couple of times, adjusting to the light. I felt a muscular arm wrapped tightly around my waist, I felt my face heat up, a small smile crept onto my face, knowingly. I took Xylus' arm carefully off me and climbed out of bed. I quietly walked up to the full length mirror standing in the corner of Xylus' bedroom, or I should now say, OUR bedroom. My fingers trailed gently over the mark Xylus gave me when we mated the night before, I smiled as I saw his name written in calligraphy beside his beautiful silver wolf, showing that I was his mate.

I felt muscular arms wrapped around my waist once again, as Xylus' skin made contact with mine, the sparks was instantaneous, it was even stronger after we sealed our bond, the feeling was euphoric. Xylus' shirtless body made contact with my back as he laid his chin on my shoulder.

"Hey, did I wake you?" I asked as I looked at him apologetically.

"I woke up when I couldn't feel you in my arms." He pouted and I chuckled at his cuteness. I turned around to face him while I was still in his arms, I wrapped my arms around his neck. He moved his face near my neck and left a soft kiss on my mark, I shuddered in delight and my heart skipped a beat when I felt his love and proudness of having me as his mate through the mate bond.

"Marry me." I blurted out with confidence and Xylus stood still as a statue, with his face still in my neck. He quickly moved away to look at me in the eyes, his eyes were widened with his mouth opened.

"A-Are you serious?" he stumbled on his words, making me chuckle at his reaction.

"Yes Xylus."  I bit my lip as as heart raced every second he didn't answer me.

"Xylus Orpheus, will you marry me?" I repeated myself, waiting in anticipation and he smiled widely.

"Yes I will marry you!" His lips met mine, it felt like time stopped, my heart pounded against my chest as my knees got weaker, i could only focus on how his soft plumped lips felt against mine, his aroma invaded all of my senses. This moment in time felt like a dream, a dream I didn't want to wake up from. His hand cupped my cheek as he slowly pulled away, he leaned his head against mine as he whispered the three words I loved to hear. "I love you."

I stood behind the door, pacing back and forward as the time came nearer and nearer, "Kiara, stop panicking, everything will be fine." Annalise tried to comfort me which didn't ease my nerves. My hands became sweaty as I saw River entering the mansion, he nodded at me that it was time and I took a deep breath as I looked down at my laced white dress, Annalise held my hand as the doors suddenly opened, Eleanor looked so adorable in her blue sparkling dress, her ginger coloured hair trailed down to her waist with a white rose in her hair, she had a basket in her hand, she took the petal and threw it as she walked down the aisle.

The ceremony was held in the garden, there was rows of white chairs with white fabric over them, beside both sides of the chairs were vases of white and red roses with lights over them and there was a white carpet over the aisle, I stepped on it as I was astonished by how the setting looked. Annalise held onto my hand in reassurance, I slowly glanced up at Xylus, I gasped lightly at the man standing at the end of the aisle with his hands behind his back. His hair was messy as if he ran his finger through many times, it trailed over his eyelashes, and his blue, purple eyes were shining brightly, he wore a black tuxedo which complimented his muscular figure, I was utterly mesmerised by this man. He had stolen my heart.

Annalise gave my hand to Xylus, he took it without hesitation and then I stood in front of him by the arch. The pack member that was officiating the wedding began the ceremony but I barely heard what she said, my eyes were only on Xylus, and his on mine.

"...May we have the rings, please?" Eugene, who was Xylus' best man, carefully gave him the wedding ring, Xylus placed the ring on my ring finger, "Kiara, we have been through many ups and downs, but after everything we've been through, it made me love you even more. I am so proud to be calling you my mate, my luna and now my wife. I promise to love you and be there for you till death do us part." As he said those words, tears trailed down my cheeks, I cherished every single word he said. He moved his hand up and wiped my tears off gently with his thumb.

Aurora, who was my maid of honour gave me the wedding ring and I placed it on Xylus' ring finger. "Xylus everyday I thank the moon goddess to give me a mate like you, someone who's caring, loving and protective over his pack, you had my heart since the day I have laid eyes on you, and now that I have you, I can't ever imagine living a life where you're not in it, I love you and I will stand by you till death do us part." my voice began to quiver as I said my vows, and Xylus squeezed my hands to comfort me, making me chuckle through my tears.

"Xylus Orpheus, do you take Kiara Lykaios to be your wife?" The pack member asked.

"I do." he looked deep into my eyes, making me feel his love through the mate bond.

"Kiara Lykaios, do you take Xylus Orpheus to be your husband?" The pack member then asked me.

"I do." I beamed and Xylus mirrored my expression.

"I now pronounce you, Husband and Wife, you may kiss your bride." Xylus grabbed my waist and I cupped his cheeks as he pulled me in for a passionate slow kiss. We pulled away slowly as we heard loud claps and whistles.

"I love you." He pecked me on the lips. Eleanor ran up to us in excitement and wrapped her hand around my index finger.

"I love you too wolfie." I grinned at him and he rolled his eyes at his nickname.

Update 28th Feb 2022: Hey guys, I got a few comments in terms of the lack of smut in this book, this was my first ever book I've written and I wanted to slowly develop as a writer, and I didn't want my first book to contain explicit scenes. I hope you understand.💖I'm writing my next book which will contain explicit scenes/smut and for those who don't like reading smut, I will put a warning so you can skip that scene.😊
