Xylie's POV

Roz and I are in Mr Waternoose's old office. I'd given her my full report and now I am finding out if I still have a job. "You did many things wrong" Roz states.

"I know" I assure her.

"You broke many rules and laws" she continues.

"I know, but..." I try to defend myself.

"Let me finish" she tells me. I stay silent. "You also helped saved our world and exposed Waternoose. Saved a human child" she states. "I am proud of what you've accomplished" she tells me. I smile gently. "But our superiors aren't thrilled" she adds and I hang my head.

"Am I fired?" I ask her.

"No, but you are on probabtion" she states. "You will be en-charge of CDA operations here. But one more screw up young lady and you will be out of a job" she tells me.

"I understand" I assure her. "What about your job?" I ask her.

"My sister will be taking over while I go pack to CDA headquarters" she states. "Now we are just waiting for those boys to arrive" she adds. I nod and sit on the next as we wait for them. It wasn't a long wait. Both Sully and Mike enter the office. "Boys, we need to talk" Roz tells them. Not beating around the bush.

"Oh, Roz, what an unpleasant surprise" Mike says and goes to leave. But Sulley stops him.

"Hi Xylie" he says and I smile gently at him.

"I had a little debrief with the Board of Directors, and they wanted me to relay the news. They're putting you two in charge" Roz tells them. They look at her shocked, I to am shocked. I get probabtion, but they get promoted to CEOs. How is that fair?

"You're kidding?" Sulley asks and looks at me.

"This is the first I am hearing about it" I tell him.

"That's what I said. But, Sullivan, you're officially the new Monsters, Inc. CEO" Roz tells Sulley. "And, Wazowski, you're the..." she starts to say.

"Wait, I got this" Mike tells her and hops into the CEO's chair.  "Senior Co-President of Monsters, Incorporated, and Chief Executive Vice-Deputy Administrative Director of Comedy Resources Management, or, SCPOMICE-VDADOCREM for short" he declares and I roll my eyes.

"My work here is done" Roz states.

"Well, adieu, Roz. True friends never say goodbye, so... goodbye. Can you believe it, Sulley? We're in charge, you and me" Mike says happily.

"One last thing. The Board promised to give my sister my old job. She'll be in later" Roz tells them. "Good luck. She's not bubbly like me" she states. "Xylie, come with me to your new office" she says and leaves the office.

"Congrats guys, I see you for lunch Sulley and good luck with the new job" I tell them. Before following Roz. My office was just down the hall. It was half the size of the guys office and there was a lot of filing cabinets. "What's all this?" I ask Roz as I see the mountain of files on the desk.

"Paper work regarding the incident. You must sort, document and file or these reports from the workers here. Along with the CDA agents reports and file them" she states.

"But I hate paper work" I say groaning.

"I know" she says smiling. "Remember you are on probation and one more slip out. You won't be working for the CDA anymore" she reminds me. "I'd get started on the reports, also you are reporting to me with any breaks in the rules regarding CDA matters. You don't report to anyone here" she tells me. "Good luck" she says and leaves.

I look at the mountain of paper work and groan. How could there be so much for one incident? It was only two days that Boo was here. I sigh and sit down at my desk. I get started on my new job. I first sorted the pile from CDA agents and Monster Inc employees. Before starting to read and sort them all.

(Time skip)

So Celia called me. She'd been put in charge of the laugh floor. I am so happy for her, she always wanted to be the floor supervisor. But now we are down two receptionists, so the boys will have to hire someone to take over our old job. I have gotten through the CDA agent files, no thanks to the flickering lights. So I've decided to give myself a break and head to the laugh floor to see how the boys are doing.

As I was heading there, I was nearly run over by Val Little. "Oh sorry Xylie" she says sheepishly.

"What's the big rush?" I ask her.

"Oh I am on my way to get a new member for MIFT. Mister Crummyham set us a call and Fritz sent me to collect him" she explains.

"Oh, well good luck with your new team mate and please try to avoid running anyone over" I tell her.

"Will do" she says and zooms off. I chuckle shaking my head and head to the laugh floor. I arrive to see Mike going into a room.

"How are things going here?" I ask Sulley.

"Good, Mrs Flint is testing all past scarers and other employees to see if they can make kids laugh. So far was only have a few jokesters though" he tells me. "By the way, what happened with your job?" he asks me.

"I am in charge of the CDA office here" I tell him.

"That's great" he tells me smiling.

"Aside from the mountain of paperwork I have to do and the fake I am on probation" I tell him. "One more screw up and I won't have a job at the CDA anymore" I state.

"Don't worry, you won't screw up" he assures me. "I'm sorry about the paper work though" he adds.

"I'll manage" I assure him as Mike appears. "Keep up the good work Mikey and you might want to hire a new receptionist" I tell him.

"We'll get right onto that" Mike tells me. "Sulley next door" he says and the doors swap. He goes in to make another kid laugh.

"Don't worry Xylie, I'll make a job ad for a receptionist tonight and send it to the paper" Sulley assures me. I nod my head and kiss his cheek. Before going back to work.

(Time skip)

It was a long day. I don't know how I managed it, but I got through all the paper work from the Boo incident. Sulley joined me for lunch. Good thing too, otherwise I would have forgotten to eat. Especially as more reports appeared about another kid coming to our world. Thankful he got home safe and the door was shredded. But it put an entire laugh floor out of commission.

Sulley told me all about what happened over lunch. Apparently Tylor Tuskmon, who had been hired by Mr Waternoose as a scarier. Had tried to make a kid laugh, but scared him instead. Sulley had recommended him as a scarer to Mr Waternoose before the Boo incident. Apparently Tylor had broken his record in the scare simulator and graduated top of his class. But as we are no longer scaring kids, Tylor ended up in MIFT.

However, he wants to be a jokester and is willing to work hard. To learn to be funny. It gave Mike the idea to start a comedy class here at Monsters Inc. With him as the teacher. Honestly, he is gonna push himself to hard if he keeps this up. Tylor also came up with our new slogan. It's Laughter We're After. Also Roz' sister arrived. Her name is Roze and she got to work straight away.

Anyway, until Tylor is approved to be a jokester by Mrs Flint. He will be working for MIFT. I know if he works hard, he can make it to the laugh floor as a jokester. I mean, Mike and Sulley started in the mail room. And now they run the company. It was along and tiring first day with my new job. I ended up crashing at Mike & Sulleys, as I was to tired to go to my home.
