Xylie's POV

It's finally lunch time and man has it been a long morning. At least Celia is coming in this afternoon. Maybe I can get her to cover the phones while I search for the missing key card with the other two. I head for the scare floor as it will be empty while everyone else is at lunch. Sully, Mike and I never settled on a meeting place. But I guess the most logical spot would be the scare floor. I find them with Boo and she was missing one of her fake eyes.

"What happened?" I ask as I take her from Sully.

"Just a little miss adventure" he states.

"Then why does it look like you've been crying?" I ask him.

"I haven't" he lies and I give him a look. "I may have thought she had died, until we found her with the tour group" he admits sheepishly.

"We'll discuss it later" I tell him as we reach the scare floor. To see a white door with pink flowers on it. With a cart of canisters beside it.

"There it is, just like Randall said!" Mike cheers. I freeze with Sully and hold Boo tight. As Mke runs to the door.

"Randall?" Sully and I ask him. Boo jumps out of my arms and runs to hide under the table scared. "Boo" we say following her.

"One, two, three, four, get the kid through the door. The nightmare is over" Mike tells us cheerily.

"Hey it's ok Boo" Sully assures her picking her up.

"Everything is fine sweetie" I add stroking her head.

"What's the matter?" Mike asks us. "It's time to move" he states.

"Mike, what are you thinking?" I ask him.

"We can't trust Randall, he's after Boo" Sully adds.

"Who cares? Let's go. This is a limited-time offer" Mike tells us.

"Mike, Boo's key card was missing from her file. Why would Randall have it? Unless he is hiding something" I tell him.

"Xylie's right, I don't like this" Sully states.

"Me neither" I agree.

"Sulley, Xylie you both wanted her door and there it is. Now let's move" Mike tells us. Gesturing to the closed door.

"No Mike" we tell him as we shield Boo from the door. Like it'd come alive and steal her from us. I have a really bad feeling about this. I need to find my godmother and tell her everything.

"You both want me to prove everything's on the up and up?" he asks and heads for the door. "They wants a door, I get a door" he rambles. He opens it to reveal an empty room. He looks at us and we stay put. He rolls his eye and heads in. Then starts jumping on Boo's bed when something invisible grabs him.

Sully and I gasp and hide under the table with Boo. Keeping her between us as Randall exits the room with a box. He removes the lid of the fake canisters and places the box inside. Before putting the lid back and it looks like an ordinary set of canisters. Randall sends the door back to storage. Before starting to leave with the cart of fake canisters with Mike trapped inside.

When Boo trips. I catch her, but she made a sound and suddenly Randall goes invisible. I hold Boo close to my chest, making sure her human face is hidden. Luckily everyone else starts to return from lunch and Randall became visible again. He left with his cart. Sully and I come out of hiding and follow him. Ignoring the hellos from the other monsters.

But we soon reach a dead end, but Boo finds a hidden lever. Which reveals a hidden tunnel. Sully praises her as we go down it. We soon hear Randall and Mike talking. "You still think this is about that stupid scare record?" Randall asks Mike with a chuckle.

"Well, I did. Right up until you chuckled like that. Now I think I should get out of here" Mike states. We watch Randall strap him into a chair in front of some sort of machine.

"I'm about to revolutionize the scaring industry. When I do, even the great James P. Sullivan
is gonna be working for me" Randall tells him. "Who knows, maybe I'll steal his girl while I'm at it" he adds. I scowl, in his dreams. Mike refuses to tell him where Boo is. "Say hello to the scream extractor" he tells Mike as he strokes the machine.

"Hello" Mike says as Randall heads to the control console. Where his scare assistant is waiting. Ok, so that's two people involved, but who is the ring leader? Who is Randall reporting too? I doubt this was all his idea. He starts to press some buttons and I see a power cord.

"Watch Boo" I mouth to Sully. He nods and I follow the power cord. I soon find the plug in. I grab it and pull it out.

"Go check the machine!" I hear Randall shout. I smirk, my plan worked. Now to grab Mikey and get out of here. Find my god mother and tell her everything. When I return I see Sully had freed Mike and put Fungus (Randall's scare assistant) in his place.

"Lets get out of here" I tell them as I hear power returning to the machine. "Sorry Fungus" I tell him sheepishly. And we run for our lives, Sully carrying Boo.
