Ash

I step through the school gates. I subconsciously tug my tie, the stiff fabric loosening slightly. I look around the school grounds eyeing all the people present. Each person that notices me looking at them sends me an ugly glare. Pikachu's cheeks spark, his muscles tense. I know what he wants. He wants to punish the kids that belittled me since I lost in the Alolan league.

Suddenly, whispers pick up. It must be a new kid. Typically new kids battle people in different levels of strength. The trainers can level from A to Z with Z being the strongest. So far, their has been no student or teacher able to reach Z, only Champions have the strength to be a Z rank. The best so far is coming towards me now.

"Hello there lil' A rank. You ready to get demolished by the new kids?" I nod slowly. "Good, because I can't wait to see you cry over your pathetic little Pokémon when they fail." Rage builds up inside me, but I press it down. Getting mad at a W rank is a really bad idea.

As the only A rank, it's my job to battle the new kids, to pass them on to the next rank. If you lose against me, you become an A rank. If you win, you move on to the next rank. This continues until you cannot beat a rank. If you pass every rank in the school and there is no rank to battle you, you become and represent that rank. However, there is a International Championship for all representing school ranks to attend. I always go, and I always lose. The International Championship is the one place you can change your rank. It happens every year. This year, I'm going to use my strongest: Greninja, Charizard, Septile, Infernape, Krookidile, and, obviously, Pikachu.
