Chapter 29     -PART TWO-   (again with the italian if it's wrong please, please let me know) ⚠️SWEARING⚠️

We had been walking for at least half an hour now, down a long trail that we've been on over thirty times. Chelsea had memorised where to go so if we ever got lost-which we haven't-she would lead us out.

We are talking about the usual, boys, girls and drama. But currently Chelsea was teasing me about Jacob. "oh come on E, you're head over heels for this boy" she said "I am not" I say rolling my eyes "si certo"'yeah sure' she smirked at me before continuing to walk in front of us "C's got a point though E" Sulpicia shrugged "non anche tu" 'not you too' I groan as Athenodora laughs making the others laugh as well.

As they laughed my phone went off "ooh maybe it's Jake" Athenodora slightly pushed my shoulder making me push her back, I take my phone out from my back pocket and see that it was in fact Jacob "it is" I say "che cosa?"'what?' Sulpicia asks as everyone stops walking.

"It's Jake" I say answering the call "oh my lord" Chelsea laughs "hey" I say hearing whispering "El hey" I hear Jakes voice say "how are you" I ask "good, yeah I'm good" he says and Chelsea laughs making me look at her weirdly "that's good Jake" I reply turning my back to the girls "how have you been" he asks "oh Jake" Chelsea moans "dio mio C!"'oh my god C!' I yell making everyone laugh "what was that?" Jake laughs.

"Sorry, that was Chelsea being stupid" I laugh nervously "oh okay" he laughs "ohh Jake!" Chelsea yells making Athenodora join in  "Jacob" she moans "will you shut up!" I yell at them just making them laugh, I hear Jake laugh on the other end "there's more of them?" he laughs "unfortunately" I sigh "hey!" Chelsea pouts "what are the others names?" he asks "Athenodora and Sulpicia" I say "well say hi to them for me" He laughs.

"okay- Jake dice ciao"'Jake says hi' I turn to the girls "oh hi Jacob" Athenodora says over my shoulder "so could we uh talk, I've missed you" he says "yeah sure, I've missed you too" I say "I'll walk away from them so we can talk" I say walking away "no- I mean in person" he says quietly "what?" I ask confused "I want to see you El" he says sternly "I want to see you too" I say shocked "okay so, maybe Burin, you can travel underwater right?" he says quickly.

"I can but like Jake that such a far distance just to see each other when we'll see eachother in like six days" I say "I want to talk to you personally El" he raises his voice a little "okay sure" I say "really?" he sounded surprised "yeah, when?" I ask him playing with a bit of my hair "today" his says directly "today?" my hand stops "yeah, were both fast" I pause for a second and turn to the girls knowing they heard everything. 

They all nod for me to say yes "okay yeah, so Burin?" I say making the girls squeal "yeah okay cool see you at 2 then" he says I could hear the smile in his voice "see you then" I say before he hangs up. Chelsea was jumping up and down "Oh my lord" she squeals and runs over to me "we have to get you ready" Sulpicia says walking up to me as well "why?" I frown.

"Because as fashionable as your one sleeve dress is, I don't think it matches the dress code" Athenodora snorts "I guess not" I look down at my burnt dress "soo let's go back to the town and get you dressed" Chelsea squeals "you've got to stop squealing C" I laugh "yeah I know" she pouts before sprinting off  "va bene allora"'okay then' Athenodora laughs and we all follow Chelsea back home.

It was now 1:20 and I was sitting in a chair in front of Sulpicia's makeup desk "okay close" Sulpicia says making me close my eyes, I was wearing a velvet strapless black dress, it was floor length and really belongs in a formal event not catching up with a friend but Athenodora said it made me look beauteous, I'm pretty sure that's just a fancy word for pretty or something.

"Okay now you can look" Sulpicia stood behind me as I opened my eyes and saw a smokey eyeshadow with a dark burgundy lip "don't you think this is a bit much" I say raising a brow making Chelsea gasp "no!" "but I'm just catching up, not having romantic candle lit date" I say standing up "well in this house even if your going to the shops you must always look your best" Athenodora says standing up from the couch in Sulpicia's room.

"Okay fine" I sigh and turn to Sulpicia "thank you" I smile "no problem" she smiles back "okay you'll be late" Chelsea stands up as well "okay wish me luck" I make my way to the door "good luck E" Sulpicia smiles at me before I run out, I'm at the door in no time and quickly stop making sure no humans saw me and walk out, I got looks but just kept my head up.

As I reach the forest I check for humans before sprinting in quickly, I was running for at least three minutes already being at Monaco before accidentally running into someone, thankfully it was only Caius "oh sorry Caius" I say laughing "no problem beautiful" He smiles "what are you doing out here?" I ask him turning us so my back was facing the direction I needed to go "I could ask you the same thing" he smirks.

"I asked you first" I smirk back "well I would tell you but then it's not a mystery" he moves closer "same here" I say back "yeah?" "yeah" he looks me up and down "trying to impress someone are we?" he asks "what's it to you?" I cross my arms "oh no reason" he pulls me in by my waist "Caius" I say putting my hand on his chest "what? no ones around this time" he moves in closer "I like someone else" I whisper and he immediately pulls back "what?" he lets me go and frowns angrily "it's Athenodora isn't it" He says making me shocked "what-no I" I stutter "yeah i've seen the way you look at her".

"And the way she looks at you" he laughs "I mean you didn't exactly hide it well love" he crosses his arms and I uncross mine "it's not her" I say looking down "oh? so you've got another one" he raises a brow "I knew you were a player" he laughs turning away and then turns back "we never together, I never dated you or Athena" I retort "so you were cheating on this other person with us?" he raises his voice "I'm not dating Jake either" I raise my voice.

"Oh so he has a name" Caius laughs "I was dating someone else and then she imprinted and left me and then I had no one but Jake" I ramble "you can't do that to people though El" he frowns "I like you" "well you shouldn't, you have a wife and she shouldn't have kissed me that wasn't right either" I say checking my phone 1:49 "so you kissed her but not me" he scoffs.

"I thought you said I shouldn't do that to people" I say crossing my arms "whatever go to your little toy then love" he walks up to me and kisses my cheek "for what it's worth I think you look really pretty today" he smiles before running off. I had to brush it off and start running again trying to reach the water quickly.

Before I knew it I was in Spain and reaching the water quickly, stopping at the water I take my shoes off knowing it would be a bitch to run in water with heels on. As I'm running underwater fish swim off probably terrified at the sigh of me near them, I wouldn't eat them though. I'm not a big fan of fish.

It took me about twenty minutes to reach Burin, I was dry because of how fast I was running, I saw a nearby pub and went to the bathroom to check my makeup, thank god Sulpicia chose waterproof makeup because my face was intact, I quickly fixed the stray hairs standing up and walked back out to the closest forest, it was sort of covered the further you went in the thicker it got.

I found a good spot to meet him and pulled out my phone to text him 'hey I found a good spot in the woods, you'll be able to find me right?'  It was a couple of minutes before he texted back 'yeah I'll be able to find you, I just reached Boat Harbor so I'll see you soon :)' I smiled at my phone sitting down on the ground, I kept checking my messages to see if he texted me that he was close and then my phone dinged 'I think I'm lost in the woods' I laughed quickly texting back 'see if you can find a sign' I laugh to myself 'okay i'm at Port au Bras'.

'that's close okay :)' I stood up listening to see if I could hear him, a minute later I heard rustling and turned towards the noise, I noticed the bushes move and saw his russet colored wolf walk out "Jake" I smiled he walked up to me and sat down, I stretched my hand out and pat his head making him close his eyes.

He got up and walked back to the forest going change back, then he walked out shirtless with shorts on smiling at me "hey El" he walked up and opened his arms which I accepted hugging him tightly "god I missed you" he whispered "I missed you too" he pulled back looking at my face before frowning and letting go of me "what?" I ask confused "what did they do to you Nora" he grabs my face with boths of his hands looking at my eyes "so what? you eat humans now?".

He asks "I guess" I frown and he scoffs "and you said you wouldn't change" He lets go of my face stepping back "I don't think I said that" I say back "I think you did" he crosses his arms "how have you been?" I ask him changing the subject "good, Nessie has missed you" he says looking at me "I've missed her too" I look down "you look pretty" he compliments "thank you" I look at myself.

"How have you been?" He asks sitting down "okay" I sit down as well "just okay?" he leans back on his arms "it's actually been great, I really like it here" I look at him and see he's just staring at me "I'm glad you like it Nora" he smiles making me smile "so the girls seem fun" he laughs "oh yeah sorry about them, they tease me about you a lot" I laugh "so you've been talking about me?" he smirks "I suppose" I blush making him laugh.

"I've been thinking of calling you, just never got around to it" he says sitting up "yeah same, I've been busy" I sigh "with what, killing people" he laughs making me look down "I don't just do that, I do other things as well" "like what?" he asks "reading, sleeping, messing around with the girls, dancing-" I start but he cuts me off "dancing?" "yeah we had a ball a little while ago" my mind goes to Caius and Athenodora. I should tell him.

"Was it fun?" he asks "yeah it was" I smile remembering dancing with the girls but it quickly goes away remembering how Caius kissed my neck "you okay?" he looks at me "I have to tell you something" I stand up making him stand up also "what's wrong El?" he steps closer to me "I kissed someone else" I say quickly making him freeze "multiple times".

"What?" he steps back "it didn't mean anything, I mean maybe it did for them but not for me" I say stepping towards him "who?" he asks firmly "two people" I say "two people?!" he yells "well I didn't kiss Caius but he tried to kiss me" I ramble on "Caius? as in the co leader of the volturi?" He asks "yes" I whisper "what the fuck El?!" He yells "I didn't know what I was doing, no I did but I don't understand my feelings" I somewhat yell "who was the other person El?!" he yells back "Athenodora" I whisper "your friend?!" "yes" I answer making him scoff.

"You kissed me and then kissed two other people!" He yells pacing rubbing his face "I didn't kiss Caius" I whisper "that doesn't fucking matter El! What the hell!" he pulls at his hair "Mi dispiace!" I yell back "what does that even mean!?" he yells at me "It means I'm sorry!" I yell.

I don't know why I was yelling, I think it was just in the moment "you know Italian?!" He yells "Yes!" I yell back making him sigh "were not even together Jake" I say "I really, really like you Nora" He says his back facing me "you do?" I say "yes! god was it that hard to understand, I said I love you for god's sake!" He turns to me "I thought you just said it because-" "because what El? because I was joking around?" he looks me in the eyes "you said it back does that mean you didn't mean it?".

"What?" I say, I didn't know how to explain what I was feeling, I just wanted to tell him everything but nothing came out "did you mean it when you told you loved me?" he asked again and I just stood, my mind screaming at me to talk but I couldn't, he loved me and I loved him. But I thought he didn't "Talk to me El" he asks watching my eyes searching the ground.

"Fine I'll just leave if you have nothing to say" He turns around and starts walking away, speak you idiot! "yes" I whisper "what?" he turns back "yes I do" I say louder looking at him "you do what?" he turns to me fully "yes I love you! Of course I fucking love you Jake!" I yell "after all the time we spent together and after all the things we did you thought I didn't love you?".

He just stood there staring at me "what now you've got nothing to say?" I say laughing slightly making him quickly walk up to me "wha-" he grabs my face and kisses me. I'd never felt such relief, I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me me kissing him back.

He pulled back to look at me and smiled "you're my girl" he whispered, it was barely audible but I heard it anyway "your girl?" I laugh slightly "my girl" he hums kissing me again softly. As he pulls away another thing come to mind. My powers, I needed to tell him about that as well "Jake I have to tell you something else" I whisper to him resting our foreheads together "what that you kissed Aro as well?" he laughs "ew no, that's gross Jake" I say scrunching up my face making him laugh harder.

He steps back turning around going to do something but I stopped him "Jake look" I say preparing myself "what?" he asks turning around and I drop my hands, focusing on him my hand heat up quickly lighting on fire as I open them, his eyes widen as I spread my arms out the lighting the ground leaves on fire in a circle around us "what the hell" he stares at the fire gobstruck.

I pull the fire back in my hands putting it out on the floor "how?" he asks his eyes wide "Pyrokinesis and Empathic Precognition"I say walking towards him "what is the second one" He asks "I can see what's happening to other people close to me and change the perspective from person to person" I explain to him, he closes his mouth "and the fire thing?" he asks gesturing to the scorched floor "well I have complete immunity to fire meaning that it doesn't hurt me".

"I can also control it, shape it and change the color of it" I say walking closer to him "that's cool and weird at the same time" He laughs confused "I thought vampires could only have one power?" he states "so did I but Aro proved me wrong" he scoffs "yeah that creep" "yeah" I laugh making him laugh.

We hung out for a few more hours, it was now 4:40 we were laying on the ground looking up at the clouded sky "I missed this" Jake mumbles "I did too" I whisper back before quickly sitting up after hearing a rustling in the bushes, Jake sits up as well "you heard that too right?" I ask staring at the surroundings "yeah I did" he answers standing up and pulling me up with him.

I heard light footsteps sprinting towards us before being pushed behind Jacob "I can protect myself" I say rolling my eyes making him laugh "aw how cute" I hear a familiar voice say "really Athenodora?" I laugh stepping out from behind Jake as Athenodora, Sulpicia and Chelsea step out smiling "we had to meet this lover boy" Chelsea squeals making Jake laugh.

Chelsea sprints over to us startling Jake as she circles around him looking him up and down "I honestly pictured him differently from your description E" she says standing back smiling at him "Hi Jacob I'm Chelsea" she stretches her hand out for him to shake which he accepts with a smile "nice to meet you" he looks at the others "I'm Sulpicia" Sulpicia walks up and shakes Jake's hand as Athenodora walks up behind her.

"You're not as hot as I thought you would be" Athenodora says "A!" we say making Jake laugh "can say the same about you" he smirks making Athena raise her brow "now I see why E fawns over you" she smirks "really?" I ask making her shrug and wink at me Jake looks at me looking for a reaction but I only rolled my eyes "well.." Chelsea says trying to break the awkward tension between Athena and Jacob as they glared at each other.

"I think it's best if we get going now, we just wanted to meet Jake" Sulpicia says grabbing Athena's hand pulling her away "you coming E?" Chelsea asks me and I turn to Jake "yeah one second C" I nod making them all rush off and I turn back to Jake.

"They seem nice" Jake laughs "yeah A's just- a lot sometimes" I sigh as Jake grabs my face between his hands "I trust you" he whispers kissing me gently "and I love you" he whispers pulling away "I love you too" I whisper back making smile "by E" he smiles widely walking backwards making me laugh "by J" he winks before transforming and running away.

"C'mon E!" Chelsea yells "coming!"
