The prison portrayed in this book isn't how real prisons work. I will try to make it more realistic, but you have to realise that this is a fictional book and it's not real. I repeat, this isn't how prisons work in real life.

I'm not a doctor, so you have to be aware that the mental illnesses that I portray in this book aren't how mental illnesses in real life work. Like I said, don't get triggered or offended because this is NOT how mental illnesses work.

I don't suggest learning anything about prisons, relationships or mental illnesses from this book, but I will do my research and try and represent them as best as I can. Yet you still have to remember that this is a fictional book and I have to make things up for the plot.
