Totally spies!
"This is a horrible idea, Taehyung."
The said boy only hummed, his long fingers tapping against the steering wheel of the black matte Lamborghini as he drove through the city of Busan.
Jimin, who was sitting in the passenger seat, nervously bit his lip as his eyes kept drifting back to an unbothered Taehyung.
"I'm just worried for you, TaeTae. I know how hard it is for you to do this and I don't want you to push your limits. Maybe....maybe we should head ba-"
"I'm driving, Chim." Taehyung's deep voice interrupted Jimin, causing the latter to shut his eyes and exhale, slouching in the leather seat.
"What if-"
"Shut up,"Taehyung grumbled under his breath, his fingers on the steering wheel tightening as a pout appeared on his face,"The more you worry....the more scared I get. And I don't...I don't want to be scared anymore, I want to move on, I want to get better. But if I don't slowly start to get back on missions, I won't heal, and I..I wouldn't want to do it with anyone other than yo..you."
Jimin's lips parted to release a breath of surprise. This was....that was most he's heard Taehyung speak in one sitting. Jimin swallowed thickly, his chubby hands fiddling with his knee high socks.
"You're right,"Jimin nodded, turning his head to look at Taehyung. His face was as emotionless as ever, yet his cocoa coloured eyes still held the same softness and innocence that they always did,"But if anything happens, you leave without me or I swear to god, Kim Taehyung, I'm gonna beat your puppy looking ass."
Taehyung's lips twitched for a brief second before the blank look took its place yet again. He twisted the steering wheel and took a sharp turn, all the while still looking graceful and handsome.
Jimin sighed and looked away, his eyes immediately falling onto the apartment building, that Jinyoung lived in. Taehyung slowed down and turned to park in front of the building on the opposite side of Jinyoung's apartment.
Taehyung and Jimin sat in the car for a few minutes, silence eloping them as they came to terms with what was about to happen. Jimin exhaled deeply and ran a hand through his freshly dyed purple hair, he turned around in his seat and grabbed the sparkly, pink box from the backseat.
Taehyung watched with a frown as Jimin held onto the sniper case tightly before opening the door and stepping outside.
"Chim." Taehyung called out faintly, causing Jimin to immediately stop and turn around. He raised a brow, sending Taehyung a gentle smile, trying to ease him into talking,"You..you know I won't leave you be..behind, right?" Taehyung finally spoke, his expression completely serious.
Jimin smiled bitter sweetly, pulling his pink mask up his face,
"I know."
And with that, Jimin left the car and walked towards the building on the opposite side of Jinyoung's apartment. He pushed past the entrance door, causing a small bell to ring above his head.
Jimin winced and looked around the lobby, taking in the cringy decorations and faint smell of cheap perfume. It was weird, on the other side of the street was one of the most expensive Apartment buildings in Busan, yet this hotel was....it was shit.
Jimin turned to look at the receptionist, who's mouth was hanging open with drool dripping down the side of his cheek as he slept. Jimin could see camera monitors behind the guy and a glass case that held the keys to the rooms.
He smirked under his mask, walking towards the desk and leaning over it to take a peak at the cameras. Jimin glanced at the snoring receptionist before making up his mind and walking around the counter. He placed the sniper case on the ground next to his feet and leaned down to get a better view of all the buttons on the control panel.
Of course Jimin didn't know how to turn off the cameras, so he just pressed every button on the control panel until they turned off. And they did, after he switched off a couple of lights in the motel, opened a few gates and even accidentally pulled up a porn site that the receptionist was watching.
Who knew someone was actually into somnophilia.
Jimin picked up his rifle case and slowly walked away from the desk, but before he did that, he glanced back up at the glass case, holding the room keys. What captured his attention was a key with 'Roof' written above it.
Licking his lips, Jimin held his breath as he opened the glass case and took out the key, shutting the case as quietly as he could.
Jimin gripped the handle of his rifle case tighter and quietly walked away from the desk, trying to ignore the snores coming from behind him.
Jimin approached the elevator, pressing the button. He shifted on the back of his heels as he waited for the door to open. The elevator finally dinged and Jimin stepped inside, immediately being greeted by a soft elevator music playing in the background.
It made Jimin sad, that he couldn't connect the elevator to his phone and play a song, that would make him feel badass right before assassinating someone.
After a few seconds of riding to the 14th floor, the elevator dinged and Jimin stepped outside. He knew that this wasn't the correct floor, considering that when he stepped outside, he was met with a hallway, not the roof. So Jimin turned to his right and began to march down the hall.
He ignored the sound of television coming from a few apartments, or the sound of laughing or couples fighting, but he did flinch when he heard a woman sobbing and a male yelling before the sound of something breaking reached his ears.
Jimin shook his head and kept walking, taking another sharp turn, only to come across an old woman about to enter her apartment. He quickly walked towards her, tapping her on the shoulder to catch her attention.
The old woman released a soft gasp before slowly facing Jimin,"Yes?"
Jimin smiled under the mask, bowing quickly as his eyes turned into crescent moons,"Could you please point in the direction of the roof?"
The old woman nodded before raising a shaky hand and pointing towards the direction Jimin was walking towards,"You go down the hall, take a left and then walk through the big metal door."
"Thank you, ma'am, have a good night." Jimin bowed respectfully before turning around and marching away.
"Please don't jump, young man!" The old woman called out in a sorrowful tone.
Jimin only snorted with a smirk.
He followed the insurrections, the woman gave him, and soon enough, Jimin was inserting his key into a metal door and twisting it until the door unlocked. Jimin pushed past the heavy metal door and began to climb the metal stairs, leading to the roof.
The stairway was dim, Jimin had to squint in the dark to see the next steps. The only sound reaching his ears was his feet making contact with the metal steps. Jimin reached the top of the stairs and was met with another metal door. He pushed past the door and immediately a wave of fresh air brushed against his face and exposed legs.
The roof was spacious and had a small garden on top of it. The floor was covered with gravel and there was a small half wall on the edge of the roof. It was perfect for Jimin to place his rifle on and hide behind.
Jimin walked towards the edge of the roof, sitting down on his knees and putting the sniper case next to him. A breeze kept brushing against his chubby cheeks and ruffling his purple locks as he opened the sniper case, revealing a pink sniper inside.
Jimin took out the sniper and set it on the edge of the roof, setting up everything he needed. Jimin took out his phone and looked at the clock '8.06 Pm'.
He put the phone back in his bomber jacket and grabbed his sniper. He laid on the ground, his small hands wrapping around the gun as he looked through the telescope. Jimin zoomed over the multiple apartments where families were eating dinner, watching tv, a couple was even having sex- the girl being pressed against the glass as a guy pounded into her.
Jimin visibly cringed and turned away, his gaze falling onto an apartment, where a man was filling up a wine glass. Jimin squinted his eye and looked closer, recognising the familiar characteristics of Jinyoung.
True to Jessi's words, Jinyoung's apartment consisted mostly of windows. Jimin could practically see every single room in the house, except for the bathroom. Guess he likes to have his privacy when he's taking a dump.
Jinyoung's dinner table was covered with dishes and foods of all kinds. Yet there was only one plate on the table. Jinyoung's seat was at the end of it, the seat facing the large window and Jimin's direction.
Jimin waited and watched, his grip on the gun tightening and steady puffs of air leaving his lips. The cold air chipped at his exposed thighs and the gravelled ground scratched his exposed belly. Jimin watched as Jinyoung poured himself a glass of wine before taking a seat at the end of the table.
Jimin raised his sniper and aimed at Jinyoung's head, right between his eyes. His finger slowly traveled towards the trigger, but before he could touch it, Jinyoung's gaze lifted off of the table and he looked up, staring straight at Jimin, who froze.
Jinyoung didn't seem surprised to see him, instead, he smirked and raised his glass towards him. Jimin slowly raised his eyes away from the sniper and looked at Jinyoung with confusion. His brows furrowed even more as he watched Jinyoung sip his wine and pick something up, holding it up for Jimin to see.
Jimin quickly realised that it was a plate with something written on top of it. He quickly placed his eyes back against the telescope and looked through it. Jimin froze as he read what was written on the plate- his face paled and a thin layer of sweat appeared on his skin.
'One makes it a dinner,
Two make it a date,
A whole squad of cops make it a dinner party.
Will you have a dinner party with me, Jiminie?'
Jimin clenched his jaw and pressed the trigger of his sniper, not even aiming. The bullet flew through the air and pierced the window of Jinyoung's apartment. But the Male jumped out of the way before the bullet could hit him, choosing to fall to the ground instead.
Jimin scrambled to grab his gun and shoved it into the sniper case, just as he heard the sirens of the police cars and the hum of a helicopter above his head.
Jimin didn't even look at the helicopter as their lights turned on and shone down on him, illuminating him. He shut the sniper case and jumped up to his feet, looking down at the matte, black Lamborghini where Taehyung was.
"Park Jimin, lower your weapons and put your hands behind your head!"
A loud voice came from the helicopter hovering over Jimin. Jimin paled even more, when he heard his real name bing used by the police officers. He ignored the voice and dashed towards the edge of the roof, throwing the sniper case over it.
He only hoped that the sniper would fall somewhere near Taehyung and he would get the message to get the fuck out. But knowing Taehyung, he wouldn't leave Jimin behind and that's what scared him the most.
The metal door to the door was slammed open and the sound of heavy footsteps filled his ears. Jimin slowly raised his hands, turning around to get a better view of the police officers behind him.
"Get down on the ground and put your hands behind your head!" One of the Male officers yelled loudly, his voice filled with hatred and disgust. The guy had raven black hair and a muscular form, Jimin found something familiar about him, but he couldn't pinpoint how he knew the guy,"Do as you're told!"
Instead of listening to the command, Jimin turned around and sprinted towards the edge of the roof, his gaze focusing on the building next to this one.
"Park Jimin!"
He ignored the shouts behind him and pushed off of the edge of the roof, flying over the gap between the buildings. The reality of the situation dawned on him when he was flying 26 metres over the ground with no protection or plan.
The other building came sooner than he predicted and Jimin didn't have time to brace for the fall. His body slammed against the ground with such force that had his teeth slamming against each other and his head nearly smashing against the ground.
Jimin winced at the pulsing pain in the core of his body and his exposed knees. A deep groan rumbled in his throat as he pushed off of the ground and stood up. He heard shouts coming from behind him before the light of the helicopter shone on him again.
"Park Jim-" The same voice from the helicopter reached his ears before it turned off and the helicopter suddenly changed its course, flying in the opposite direction.
Jimin shook it off and ran towards the edge of the building. He looked over the side of it and noticed emergency stairs. Jimin didn't waste any time to run towards them and descend them.
He could faintly hear the footsteps and shouts of the police men behind him. Jimin guesses that some of them had followed him over the edge, while others were probably waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs.
Jimin stopped at the forth floor, in front of a open window of an apartment, his chest rising and falling as he heaved. He grabbed the bottom of the window and slid it open before slipping through it.
Jimin climbed over the dinner table- dishes and utensils rattling under his feet. Jimin jumped off of the table and left the kitchen of the apartment, trying to find the exit door. A loud screech filled his ears, making him jump with a wince. He snapped his head towards a screaming girl, who grabbed a flower vase and raised it to attack.
Jimin cursed loudly and turned around, dashing towards the door, that looked like the exit. He quickly opened the locks and ran out, ignoring the screaming and crying coming from the girl behind him.
Jimin ran through the hallways of another apartment complex, door after door openings behind him as people shoved their heads through, curious about what was happening. Jimin ignored the looks he was receiving, his heart pounding in his chest and his purple locks sticking to his forehead from the sweat he was producing.
Jimin found the emergency stairs, quickly running down them, ignoring the way his hands shook and blood trickled down his knees, soaking in his white socks. He reached the bottom of the emergency stairs and pushed past the door, only to find it locked.
"Please, please please," Jimin begged under his breath, pulling and pushing the obviously locked door,"Fuck you!" He let out a frustrated screech and pulled out the gun from his jacket. Without wasting time, Jimin shot off the door handle before slipping out of the building.
The cold breeze immediately wrapped around Jimin's sweaty body, he inhaled a deep gulp of fresh air, feeding his aching lungs. Jimin heard shouts and footsteps from the end of the alleyway, causing him to turn the other way and dash away.
