Catdog
A pencil was grasped between long, coal coated fingers. The tip of the pencil slid along the paper, leaving behind a path of pitch black. The lines intertwined and crossed over each other, they raced alongside each other and even merged into a pool of blackness.
The fingers lifted and scratched at a spot on Taehyung's puffy cheek, leaving behind grey dust on his skin. Taehyung tilted his head to the side and eyed the drawing in front of him, the sight of a messily scribbled puppy stared back at him. It's limbs were a bit too long and back was arched, giving it a hump, and it's head looked like it was two sizes too big for the body.
Hoseok had offered to help teach Taehyung how to draw, which Taehyung eagerly agreed to. He had watched the older relax with each stroke of his pencil and sink further into the blissful waves of serenity. Taehyung wanted to know how that felt like, or how it felt like to be the owner to such beautiful artworks, but before Hoseok could show him anything, a man came into their cell and whispered something to Hoseok.
Taehyung's curiosity was quenched when Hoseok without a hesitation told him that someone had found a dead body in the yard. Hoseok left Taehyung in the cell, with his notebook in his hands and pencil hanging off of his fingers. Taehyung patiently waited for Hoseok to return until he got bored and decided to scribble something in a free spot in the notebook.
But Taehyung's mindless sketching was interrupted by Jimin sliding into the room and bouncing towards him with a beaming smile. Taehyung squinted his eyes suspiciously at the way Jimin's swollen lips puffed out and his eyes glimmered with redness, Jimin's skin glistened from sweat and hair was ruffled in messy tangles. Taehyung wondered if Jimin's appearance was from a heated make out session or deepthroating.
Perhaps both.
Jimin's hands hid behind his back as he plopped down on the bed next to Taehyung and bounced up and down. He looked extremely happy and giddy as he stared back at Taehyung. He pulled his hands out from behind his back to reveal the two boxes of hair dye grasped in his hands, "Yoongi got me these after I asked. Wanna dye your hair with me?" Jimin giggled breathlessly, peering around the edge of the notebook to catch a glimpse of Taehyung's sketch.
"How cute." Jimin cooed, dropping the box of brown dye to reach out and tickle the puppy's chin.
A scarlet red dust traveled up Taehyung's neck until it reached his cheeks, he quickly slammed the notebook shut and placed it down on the bed next to him. He reached out and grabbed the hair dye, noticing that one was a lavender colour and the other was brown, "Why these?" He asked in confusion, not understanding why Jimin would like to dye his hair lavender since he had it already dyed that colour.
Jimin leaned forward and plucked the brown box out of his hand, "The brown is for me, pup, the lavender is for you. When we get out of here, you can dye it a different colour but these were the only colours they had." Jimin ruffled Taehyung's blond hair before jumping out of the bed and stretching his arms above his head.
Taehyung tilted his head to the side and eyed the lavender box, he took a hold of a blond strand of his hair and stretched it out in front of his eyes. He tried to ponder whether he wanted to dye it or leave it blond, but Taehyung knew that his roots had grown back and it doesn't look as good as it used to.
"Fine." Taehyung grumbled with a small huff, he pushed against the bed and climbed out, ignoring the squeal from Jimin. His wrist got grabbed by the small mochi before he was ripped out of the room and into the direction of the bathroom.

When the door to the cafeteria burst open, the inmates were greeted by the sight of Jimin and Taehyung standing there with confidence in every breath they puffed out. Jimin's once lavender hair was now a sandy brown colour, it was swept to the sides to reveal his forehead and combed back neatly. The colour almost seemed to match his eyes and made his skin appear tanner, his facial features appeared classier and more mature.
Taehyung seemed to be pouting and looked a bit annoyed as he lifted his hand and curled a strand of lavender around his finger. The colour gave him an ethereal glow and made his skin appear paler, the lavender locks almost seemed to shimmer in the light of the cafeteria as if it was covered in a layer of glitters.
The two Kitty gangsters sauntered through the cafeteria, going towards their table. The inmates followed them with their eyes, not even uttering a single word as they took in the two dangerous beauties. Jimin could feel his heart pound with each step he took and the grip on Taehyung's fingers grow tighter. His eyes lifted and connected with Yoongi's, who was already staring back at him from the second the door of the cafeteria moved even the slightest inch.
"Gentlemen," Jimin greeted through a purr, standing on the end of the table and running his eyes over each person sitting there. Yoongi was sitting in the middle of the table with a free spot on his right and Jackson gaping from the seat to his left. On the other side of the table, Hoseok was sitting by the edge of the table, on the opposite side of the free spot next to Yoongi. His hand was hooked around the back of the chair next to him and other hand laid limply against the table.
"What a lovely surprise." Jimin's eyes squinted at Hoseok's, earning himself a raised brow from the latter. Jimin's eyes snapped away from Hoseok and he leaned up on his tippy toes to plant a wet kiss on Taehyung's cheek.
Jimin plopped back down on his feet and bounced towards the free spot on Yoongi's side. He sunk into the plastic chair and threw his leg over the other, crossing his arms over his chest and drumming his fingers against his bicep.
Yoongi leaned down towards him and pressed his lips against his ear, his lips parted and voice came out in the form of a barely audible whisper, "You kiss your friend with those lips?"
Jimin's head swung around in his direction and a sugary grin curled around his lips, "Soulmate." He corrected without batting an eye and, instead, turned around to face Hoseok, who pulled out a box of chocolate milk and set it in front of Taehyung.
"Hoseok, right?" Jimin quirked a brow and tilted his head to the side. His eyes dragged along the slope of Hoseok's nose and his heart shaped lips before stopping at his amused eyes, "Yoongi's ex fiancé?"
Taehyung snapped his head towards Jimin and sent him a small glare, yet Jimin could see his cheeks heat up in embarrassment from how blunt Jimin was being. Jackson began to choke on the other side of Yoongi, accidentally spitting out his water and drenching his plate of food.
"Sorry." Jackson wheezed between coughs, all while pounding his fist against his chest, yet none of them seemed to pay him any attention.
Hoseok rose a brow at Jimin, briefly flicking his eyes down at a sheepish Taehyung. Yoongi tensed up next to Jimin and clenched his jaw, not breathing in order to stop himself from lashing out.
"Why are all of you so tense, it's true!" Jimin rolled his head around with a huffed out chuckle, his eyes bounced from a person to a person until his taunting gaze settled on Yoongi, "Hoseok proposed to Yoongi, and Yoongi's ass wasn't able to deal with the fact that someone loved him so he said no. Which is a bummer, by the way, because Hoseok looks like a catc-"
"Don't test me, Jimin." The gruff voice of Yoongi cut through the air and made Jimin's words shatter mid sentence. Hidden warnings were squished between the letters of the words and sprinkles of anger were dusted over them.
When Jimin twisted his head around to look into Yoongi's eyes with a mocking smirk. He was met with the sight of Yoongi sitting tensely with his glare directed back at the Kitty gangster. The flames of furry swayed behind Yoongi's whiskey eyes and teeth gritted against each other until his jaw flexed. A tint of red got injected into his cheeks from the syringe of frustration.
"Was it something I said?" Jimin asked innocently, pushing out his lip and leaning towards Yoongi so that he'd be able to press his fingers against his chest and sink his nails into the scratch marks he left behind.
Yoongi didn't seem bothered by Jimin's close proximity or the stinging in his chest. He kept staring down at Jimin with his poisonous gaze piercing holes in Jimin's eyes in order to inject the poison into his body and make him drop dead.
At the lack of reaction from Yoongi, Jimin rolled his eyes and turned away to face Taehyung and Hoseok. He was met with the sight of Taehyung staring at them with wide eyes, while Hoseok's lips were pressed into a thin line. The latter seemed to observe them carefully, looking like he was ready to grab Taehyung and get out of their presence before the puppy could get hurt by their fog of hate.
Jimin leaned forward in his seat and placed his elbow on the table, he analysed Hoseok by dragging his eyes up and down his body. Jimin's lips got jutted out and nose scrunched up as if he was unimpressed. He parted his lips to speak, only for Hoseok to hold up a hand and stop Jimin from uttering a sound.
"The reason as to why Yoongi said no to me wasn't because he couldn't accept the fact that someone loved him. He had a reason, but quite frankly, Jimin, that's none of your business." Hoseok spoke with a sugary smile, his eyes didn't stray from Jimin the entire time and arm remained wrapped around Taehyung's shoulder.
The pair kept testing each other by not breaking eye-contact until, finally, a bright grin cracked Jimin's blank expression and his eyes squinted into crescent shapes. A bubble of giggles erupted from Jimin's throat and he fell back into his seat, snapping his fingers and pointing them at a tight-lipped Hoseok.
"Fine." Jimin huffed out a breath, glancing between Taehyung and Hoseok, "I give you the blessing of a soulmate to marry each other and make babies."
This time it was Taehyung's turn to choke on the spaghetti he had been slurping. Hoseok's head swung around in Tae's direction and palm pressed against his back to rub soothing circles. He grabbed his water bottle and extended it to Taehyung once he began to suck in deep breaths and looked up at Jimin with watery eyes.
"Nice going, you nearly killed him yourself." Yoongi snorted, stabbing his fork into the overcooked spaghetti and twirling the utensil around. He pushed the fork into his mouth and continued eating calmly without looking up at anyone.
Jimin's scowl deepened, yet eyes didn't leave Taehyung, "Shut up." He hissed under his breath, making sure that Yoongi heard.
The gang leader snorted and dropped his fork into his plate, he reached out and grabbed the clean napkin from Jackson's hand before lifting it up to his lips and wiping away the sauce on his lips. He crumbled the napkin and dropped it back into Jackson's open palm, "Thanks." Yoongi nodded at him with a pat on his shoulder.
Jimin shook his head at the sight, "No wonder people want to kill you." He breathed under his breath.
Yoongi snorted and grabbed a water bottle, he lifted it up to his lips and murmured against the rim of the bottle, "A lot of people want to kill me, yet I'm still here sitting out in the open. What does it tell you, hmm?"
"That you're an asshole."
"Careful, Jimin." Yoongi warned breezily, leaning down to whisper into Jimin's ear, "Or do I have to fuck your throat again to remind you who's in control?" Yoongi's teeth captured Jimin's earlobe and bit down harshly until his skin split apart and allowed a droplet of scarlet red to touch Yoongi's tongue.
Jimin hissed at the pain and pushed Yoongi away, he pressed his fingers against his ear and pulled them back to reveal blood coating the tips. Jimin's eyes narrowed and bounced up to Yoongi, the latter ran his tongue along his lips and captured the droplet of blood sitting there, trying to annoy Jimin with a small twitch in his lips. Jimin's nostrils flared at the glint of arrogance coating Yoongi's eyes.
"You know.." Yoongi continued to speak before Jimin could, "Perhaps next time, if you make me come in 15 seconds, I'll allow Seokjin to live too."
A ruby red flower of anger bloomed in Jimin's chest and wilted just as quickly, he forced a plastic smile on his face and leaned forward so that their lips were inches apart, "Judging by how quickly you came in those 30 seconds, we can easily bring it down to 5."
A breath of amusement rushed through Yoongi's nostrils and finger pressed against the side of Jimin's jaw. He dragged it along his jaw without breaking their gaze, until he reached the back of Jimin's neck and curled a strand of brown hair around his finger, "Is that so?" Yoongi mused with a quirk of his lips.
Jimin hummed confidently, only for his smile to crumble when Yoongi huffed out a gruff chuckle and continued to speak, "I'd advise you to lower your cockiness, Jimin, after all, you never did see the timer when I pressed start."
Jimin's arrogance faltered and brows furrowed, he straightened out in his chair and watched Yoongi in confusion, "What do you mean? How much time did it take?" But Yoongi turned away from him and kept his lips sealed shut, trapping the answer to Jimin's questions, "Yoongi." Jimin leaned forward and nudged the gang leader in the ribs, "Answer me, you asshat. How long did it take?"
"Let's just say...Taehyung's life will be spared because of your effort." The gang leader shrugged indifferently, sipping on his water and chuckling against the bottle from amusement, "I'm honestly not surprised that you never noticed that the timer went longer than just 30 seconds. You were so engrossed in su-"
Jimin's hand shot out and smacked against the back of Yoongi's head so hard that the smack echoed throughout the cafeteria. Some inmates looked in their direction, while others minded their business. Yoongi flinched and hissed, dropping his bottle on the table to run his hand against his head.
"What the fu-"
"Shut the fuck up." Jimin spat at him, sulking in his seat and glaring down at the table. He crossed his arms over his chest and ignored the looks he was receiving.
Hoseok cleared his throat and unwrapped his arm from Taehyung, he pushed his chair back with a small screech in order to stand up, "I have to go, see you tomorrow." Hoseok muttered to them, caressing the back of Taehyung's neck with his fingers before dropping his hand and stepping away.
Jimin looked up and followed Hoseok with his eyes until he left the cafeteria. His eyes jumped over to Taehyung and zeroed in on the spaghetti sauce painted across his scarlet red cheeks. A flustered smile curved his lips upward as he twirled the last pieces of spaghetti on his fork and pushed it into his mouth.
Jimin sighed, twisting his head towards the clock hanging off of the wall in the cafeteria. He chewed on his bottom lip and stood up as he noticed the time displayed by the clock, "I have to go too." Jimin chirped, completely ignoring Yoongi and walking towards Taehyung instead.
Jimin leaned down and pressed his lips against Taehyung's temple before straightening out and ruffling Taehyung's lavender hair, "Clean your mouth, pup."
And with that, Jimin sauntered out of the cafeteria with Yoongi's gaze burning into his back. Taehyung, Yoongi and Jackson were the only ones left at the table. The tension between them rose when Jackson quickly followed after Jimin and Hoseok, leaving the pair alone.
"Taehyung."
Taehyung warily lifted his head and looked into Yoongi's eyes. He expected to be met with malicious coldness, but he was greeted by suspicious softness. Taehyung sat up straighter at the lack of anger or jealousy in Yoongi's eyes since he was dating Yoongi's ex fiancé. Taehyung tried to not display how confused and suspicious he was of Yoongi's behaviour, and merely rose a brow.
Yoongi lifted his hand and pushed his plate of spaghetti across the table until it was in front of the puppy, "I heard your stomach grumble when Jimin kissed you. You can take mine."
Taehyung's eyes lingered on the half eaten spaghetti and the suspicion in him grew. He began to wonder why Yoongi was being nice to him and giving him food. Was he trying to gain his trust? Was he trying to make himself appear better in Taehyung's eyes since he was Jimin's bedwarmer? Perhaps he wanted to poison Taehyung so that he could get back with Hoseok?
"I don't have any ulterior motives, don't worry. I just saw that you were hungry and I had food to give, it's that simple. And I'm sure Hoseok would've seen if I tried to poison my own food." A ghost of a smile appeared on Yoongi's face and his voice carried a breeze-like softness. Nothing, but truth, was visible in Yoongi's eyes when Taehyung looked at him.
After a few seconds of pondering ticked by, Taehyung realised that Yoongi wouldn't be so stupid to kill Hoseok's future boyfriend and Jimin's soulmate. He would be hated by them both with no chances of forgiveness, plus, he'd probably be taken away immediately and be given a longer sentencing.
Taehyung's long fingers curled around the fork and he cautiously placed a mouthful of spaghetti into his mouth. He chewed on the food and swallowed it before sitting still and waiting for the effects of poison to take place.
Nothing.
Taehyung was perfectly fine as he sat in front of Yoongi in the middle of the cafeteria. His eyes slid back to Yoongi, only to find Yoongi watching him with amusement. Taehyung's eyes squinted into a glare before he looked back down at the plate and began to eat more confidently this time- completely missing the way Yoongi's gaze softened and grew a bit sadder.
Truthfully, Yoongi did have an ulterior motive when feeding Taehyung another portion of food. He knew he wasn't able to give Hoseok the love and happiness he deserved, but Taehyung was. Yoongi could see it in their subtle touches and eyes as they looked at each other, he could see it in their facial features and even how their bodies seemed to melt and gravitate towards each other. Yoongi knew that after everything he had done to Hoseok, the latter deserved to be happy with Taehyung, so he made a promise to himself that Taehyung would be put under his and his gangs protection.

Jimin knew it was time, it was time to meet up with Jungkook. They had agreed to meet each other a day before breaking out of the prison, precisely at 17:00. The meeting took place in Mark's office and the only request Jimin asked from Jungkook, was not to be seen by anyone when he entered the prison. Jungkook had said that he knew a guard from the prison and he'd help him get inside without anyone knowing, and then he would be led to Mark's office with the help of the ward himself.
Jimin knew there was a chance that Jungkook wouldn't show up and would send a group of policemen onto his ass. But he also knew that that group of policemen wouldn't be a problem to him since Yoongi wouldn't let anything ruin his plan and he'd get rid of them if needed. The only minus was that Yoongi would find out about Jimin going behind his back.
The soles of Jimin's shoes slapped against the ground and fingers trailed along the wooden walls. He inhaled puffs of air and nipped at a loose thread of skin from the middle of his lip. His teeth nipped at the skin until he captured it and tugged it off, gifting Jimin with a split of redness and a stinging sensation in his lips.
Honeycomb eyes remained glued on the wooden door on the end of the hallway, and with each swing of his legs, the bony fingers of anxiety dragged along his spine and wrapped around his throat. Jimin felt like he was suffocating from how nervous and scared he was from Jungkook not showing up. This was his only chance to save everyone, so the lives of his entire gang laid in the hands of Jeon Jungkook, who's action seemed unpredictable at the moment.
Jimin reached the door and lifted his hand, his fingers hovered over the door-handle and eyes strained to hear the smallest exhale of breath. But all he heard was the eery silence behind the wooden door- sewing another thread of fear through his heart.
"Fuck it." Jimin breathed out, lowering his hand and grabbing the door-handle. He twisted it to the side and slammed the door open, causing it to fling back and hit the wall on the other side. Jimin stood frozen in the doorway of the office, staring at the lack of people inside with wide eyes.
No Jungkook.
Jimin pushed his trembling hand into his pocket and pulled out the guard's phone. He ignored the beeping red battery on the phone and glanced down at the clock, "17:06. Motherfucker better be late."
"I am." Jimin froze at the scoff behind him, his breath had been knocked back into his lungs and colour drained from his face. Jimin clutched the phone to his chest and swallowed down the lump in his throat before stumbling around to face the figure looming over him.
Jungkook was clad in ripped jeans and a black hoodie with a coat thrown over it. A face mask was wrapped around his mouth and nose, only allowing Jimin to take a peek at his narrowed, button eyes and sharp brows. Anger swam in the pools of annoyance splashing in Jungkook's eyes, yet he inhaled sharply and dragged his eyes up and down Jimin's body to take him in before lifting his hand and hooking it around the edge of his mask. The mask got pulled out, revealing Jungkook's straight nose and thin lips, they lifted into a frown before parting to let him speak.
"What do you want?"
Jimin's face was split apart by a toothy grin and his only answer was a breath of relief.
