Bon appètit

A pair of warm hands engulfed Jimin's small waist and a scarlet red blindfold was wrapped around his eyes. He was led forward by the hands on his hips, all while trying not to stumble or trip from not being able to see his surroundings. Jimin thought that the idea with the blindfold was stupid, he didn't understand why couldn't Yoongi just lead him towards their destination like a normal person. Guess Jimin wasn't the only dramatic person in the prison.

"We're here." Jimin could feel the smirk in Yoongi's voice as his words touched the shell of his ear. A gust of air brushed against his face before he was led forward into another room.

The hands slid off of Jimin's hips and hooked around his blindfold before peeling it off. Jimin's face scrunched up and fist rose to press against his eyes as he was greeted by the bright lights shinning above him. Jimin allowed his eyes to flutter open and run over the room, before he turned around and gave Yoongi an unimpressed look.

"Oh, don't look so excited." Yoongi snorted, curling his arm around Jimin's slim waist and leading him further into the kitchen.

Jimin's eyes drifted away from Yoongi and he eyed the empty kitchen with confusion. There were a few candles lit along the room, allowing the scent of blueberries to drift along the air and slide inside Jimin's nostrils. He inhaled a lungful of the scent and observed the fresh products resting on top of the metal counter next to the stove.

Yoongi guided Jimin forward until they stood next to the counter, Yoongi turned to face Jimin and offered him a small smile, "When we get out of here, I'll take you out on a proper romantic date, but until then..." Yoongi trailed off, stepping closer to Jimin and taking a hold of his waist. Jimin's hands instinctively lifted to grasp Yoongi's biceps, only for Yoongi's muscles to clench as he easily lifted Jimin up on the counter, "...you have to settle with what we have." Yoongi murmured, leaning forward and pressing a kiss to Jimin's nose.

Jimin's eyes fluttered shut and he leaned forward, only for Yoongi to lean away and walk over to the sink. Jimin scoffed and rolled his eyes, leaning back on his hands as he watched Yoongi roll up the sleeves of his shirt and wash his hands underneath the warm water.

Jimin's eyes flickered away to take in the kitchen once again and he paused at a basket filled with strawberries resting among the other products Yoongi had retrieved. Jimin reached out a hand and grabbed the strawberry by its stem, he lifted the ruby red berry out of the basket and pressed it against his lips. Just as he was about to take a bite out of the juicy thing, pale fingers grabbed his wrist and his hand was pulled into the direction of Yoongi. Jimin's face fell into a glare as he stared back at Yoongi, watching the pale man part his lips and bite into the strawberry.

The juices of the fruit slid along Yoongi's lips, only to be swept away by his tongue. Yoongi released Jimin's wrist, allowing the Kitty gangster to lift the berry to his lips and eat the rest of it. An explosion of sweetness happened in Jimin's mouth as he chewed on the fruit. He licked away the juice from his lips and threw away the stem before looking back at Yoongi and watching the older man tie an apron around his waist.

A perfectly shaped brow rose underneath Jimin's faded lavender locks. He reached out and tapped Yoongi's shoulder- immediately capturing the man's attention with the simple gesture. Jimin raised his hands and made movements like writing something down on a paper, which made Yoongi immediately pull out his yellow notebook and offer it to him. Jimin plucked the pen out of pink uniform and wrote down on the paper before pushing it into Yoongi's face.

'You can cook?'

Yoongi hummed and gently pushed the paper away from his face, "Cooking is what keeps me grounded, it's something that doesn't allow me to float away and lose my touch with reality. A lot of gang members never find the thing that helps them not lose themselves along the darkness of this lifestyle, hence why they end up being a victim to drugs, alcohol, prostitution, or even killing. To some people it may be a person, a place, a pet, but for me it's cooking." Yoongi informed Jimin without looking at him. His tone was soft and fingers looked skilled as he poured some kimchi into a fried pan and turned it onto medium.

Jimin pursued his lips and wondered what was the thing that allowed him to stay grounded. But the more he thought about it, the more he realised that he never needed to stay in touch with reality, nor did he ever drift away from it. Ever since Jimin was introduced to the gang lifestyle, Jimin never wondered what would his life outside the gang be like or what else he could be doing, because this was the thing he was supposed to do. Jimin was completely and utterly in love with this life and being an assassin.

Yoongi's hand gripped a sharp cutting knife and a smile was painted over his lips as he cut an onion. He allowed Jimin to think for a few more minutes while he was cutting the onion, but as he put down the knife and threw the onions into the pan with the kimchi, Yoongi spoke up, "How about you tell me about you and your life as a Kitty gangster? I've heard quite a lot of things about you, and I have to admit...it's impressive." Yoongi chuckled, placing a lid over the pan and walking over to Jimin to stand between his legs.

Jimin rose a brow back at him and wrapped his arms around Yoongi's shoulder, pulling Yoongi even closer until his hips touched the metal counter. Jimin played with the baby hairs on the base of Yoongi's neck, all while observing him with narrowed eyes and pursued lips. It was a bit weird that Yoongi was asking him these questions, but he just brushed it off with an excuse that it was just paranoia and defence mechanism from his training in The Kitty gang.

With an over-exaggerated sigh, Jimin unhooked his arms from Yoongi's shoulders and picked up his notebook, 'My mother was a whore, literally. She always loved to keep up her reputation and, in her mind, the only way she could do that was by having the perfect house, perfect car, perfect appearance. But she was a slob and didn't want to work hard for anything. So, instead, she prostituted herself out to different men everyday until she finally got pregnant with me! Yay!'

Jimin ripped the paper off and pushed it into Yoongi's hand- feeling a thread of anger pushing through the seams of his heart as his fingers scribbled everything down on the notepad, 'She wanted to get an abortion since children were too expensive, but since she was small and thick, the pregnancy was barely noticeable and when she did notice, it was already too late. Surprisingly she was a bad mother, who would've thought? But despite all the degradation and emotional abuse, the last straw was when she needed money and she tried to prostitute me out to an old, nasty man when I just turned 18. Then I planned to kill her by messing with her car, only for her to actually have friends and pick up Tae and his mom that day, which resulted in them too getting into a car accident with her.'

'Thankfully Taehyung was alright and Jessi showed up just in time to recruit us both into the gang. Turns out Jessi had been keeping an eye on me because someone told her about my situation, and she decided to take Taehyung along after the accident. Boom. That's how we joined the gang!" A devilish smirk now danced along Jimin's face and his eyes shimmered with satisfaction. He watched Yoongi carefully as the older male read over the notes with furrowed brows and a frown.

Yoongi awkwardly cleared his throat after he was done and placed the notes next to Jimin. He caged Jimin in on the counter and wrapped one hand around his thigh- rubbing the clothed skin soothingly, "I'm sorry you had to go through that." And just as Jimin was about to wave him off, Yoongi cut him off by speaking again and walking back over to the kimchi, "So does Jessi always recruit people that are in trouble?"

Jimin swung his legs underneath him and lazily wrote the answer on the paper. He inhaled the scent of those cooked, caramelised onions and peered into the pan as he offered Yoongi the paper, 'Jessi is known to recruit people that are close to death. She saves them in the last minute and gives them another chance at life, allowing them to choose if they want to go back into society or choose and train with the Kitty gang. One of the senior gang members once found Jin close to death in a store because of an explosion, that the smaller gangs had caused. Seokjin was brought to the Kitty gang and he chose to stay.'

Yoongi hummed and crumbled the paper after he read it. He stuffed it into his pocket before eyeing the transparent vegetables and adding garlic, soy sauce, and a tablespoon of butter. Jimin watched him with fascination and a bit of lust- being turned on by a man that can use his hands to warm his tummy with all kinds of delicious foods.

But instead of pouncing on Yoongi or taking a bite out of another strawberry, Jimin caught Yoongi's attention by tapping on his shoulder and then pushing his finger into Yoongi's chest. How about you? The silent question floated through them, eliciting a chuckle from Yoongi,

"Of course you'd be curious about me." Yoongi murmured with a faint smirk of amusement. He took out the meat and picked up his knife as he allowed the kimchi to sauté and chose to cut the meat instead, "What would you like to know?" Yoongi asked, only to receive a shrug of the shoulders in return, "Alright....well, I barely remember my parents since they died when I was young. But what I can remember and what I've been told, is that they were nice people, at least as nice as you can be while being in a gang." Yoongi lifted his head and offered Jimin a smirk of his own as he stated the last part, which earned him a small giggle from a grinning Jimin.

Yoongi continued to cut the meat in perfect slices before dumbing and stirring them into the pan with kimchi, "My friend's, Namjoon's, father adopted me and took care of me. He was the leader of the gang, so when Namjoon announced one day that he didn't want to be a part of the gang and he wanted to have a hint of normality in his life, Namjoon's father decided to choose me as the next leader." Yoongi informed Jimin, not even hiding the way his face grimed and eyes became hazy as if he was remembering the day it all happened, "Namjoon says he's happy for me and he's happy that he got what he wanted, but I know that he's sad that his father chose me instead of him despite what he once said." Yoongi sighed and shook his head, reaching out and squeezing Jimin's thigh when he noticed the frown touch Jimin's features.

Yoongi pulled his hand back and lifted out another pot. He filled it with water and started to boil it, before walking over to the fridge and pulling out eggs. He tried to ignore Jimin's eyes digging into his back as he moved around the kitchen carefully, only for a thought to strike him and make him raise his head in order to peer into Jimin's honeycomb eyes.

"I'm quite curious about your training in Kitty gang. I don't mean to pry and you don't have to answer my questions, but the training in Cypher was basic for the other gang members." Yoongi rose a brow and placed the eggs on the counter carefully. He turned off the stove once the kimchi was done, and dropped in a packet of rice in the boiling water, "So...?" Yoongi pushed, observing Jimin's body language and facial expression in order to not push him too far and make him close off.

Jimin's shoulders were a bit tense and his lips were pursued. Alarm bells went off in his head as he squinted his eyes back at Yoongi, allowing himself to wonder why was he so curious about the gang. Of course after everything Jimin found out that Jessi had done, Jimin no longer wanted to stay loyal to her or the Kitty gang. But there were still people he cared about in that gang and Jimin didn't want to risk their lives by giving out information that could make them more vulnerable. So instead of answering, Jimin put down his notebook and took a hold of another strawberry.

Yoongi's chest rumbled as he huffed out a chuckle at the answer he had received. He left the stove and wiped away a stray bead of sweat on his temple as he approached Jimin with confident strides. The pale gang leader slid between Jimin's legs and placed his hands on either side of Jimin's waist, caging him in. Yet Jimin chose to ignore him and lift the strawberry up to his lips.

Jimin's pearly white teeth bit into the Berry, allowing its juices to drip down his lips and coat them with ruby red juices. He chewed on the sweet fruit, all while ignoring Yoongi's gaze and eyeing the chapped nail polish on his nails. Jimin's obvious ignoring didn't go too well when Yoongi leaned forward and grabbed him by the back of his neck. Jimin yelped as he was pulled towards Yoongi and felt Yoongi slide his tongue along his bottom lip to collect the juices sitting there.

Jimin huffed and pushed Yoongi away with a hand against his chest. Yoongi merely smirked and wiped away the touch of strawberry juice resting on the edge of his own lip before placing his thumb into his mouth and sucking away the juice. Jimin stared at the action with parted lips and narrowed eyes, only to raise his hand and smack it against Yoongi's forehead to make him stop.

"Fine, fine." Yoongi snickered, giving a small squeeze to Jimin's thighs before stepped back, "Im sorry for asking so many questions. How about we stop talking about gangs and just enjoy ourselves?" Yoongi proposed, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning against the counter on the opposite side of Jimin. The small mochi swung his legs back and forth, and gave Yoongi a nod in return, making Yoongi smile and reveal his gummy teeth, "Alright, and since I'm cooking, you're gonna go set up some plates and utensils. Go it?" Yoongi pointed a stern finger at Jimin, but Jimin rolled his eyes and showed him his middle finger, not moving an inch.

"Dont test me, Jimin." Yoongi muttered calmly, approaching the stove with a small smile without sparing Jimin a glance.

The lavender haired kitten pursued his lips and scrunched up his nose at being told to do something like that. But when he received only silence from Yoongi, Jimin scoffed and hopped off of the counter. He brushed past Yoongi with a sneer and a bumped against his shoulder as he walked towards the stack of plates resting on the edge of the counter. Jimin kept grumbling insults in his mind, all while taking two plates and then grabbing their utensils. Just as Jimin was about to walk over to the single table perched in the corner of the kitchen, the shrill cry of Jimin's phone filled the air.

Yoongi's head immediately lifted and he made eye-contact with Jimin, who blushed and smiled sheepishly. Jimin hesitated with setting the plates down, but when the calling continued, he almost slammed them down on the counter and ripped the burner phone out of his pocket.

Jimin's small thumb hovered over the answer button when he saw the unfamiliar number flashing across the screen, but after a few second, he pressed down and answered. Immediately Jimin's ears were flooded with the sound of harsh pants, tires screeching and the rumble of a car. He grew confused, trying to understand why this person was calling him as he looked up in confusion and made eye-contact with Yoongi.

"Jimin! Jimin! Fuck! Make sure no ones around you, I have to tell you something important!"

Jin's familiar voice slammed against Jimin's eardrums and rattled his brain. Jimin could sense the raw panic and fear in his voice, along with shallow pants and screeching of the tires. Jimin swallowed thickly, instinctively taking a step away from Yoongi and covering the phone as if Yoongi would be able to hear them from few metres away.

A harsh cry of pain cut through the air, followed by glass shattering and Jin's frantic, urgent voice shooting through the other end of the phone, "Dont trust anyone! Don't depend on anyone but yourself! They all- fuck! All of them are working for Yoongi, Jimin! Fucking all of them! No one can be trusted, not even Yoongi!" Jimin's breath was knocked out of his lungs as he listened to Jin, he gulped down the lump stuck in his throat and hesitantly lifted his eyes to look up at Yoongi. The older man was oblivious- pulling and cooling down rice from the boiling water, and frying some eggs, "Jimin!" Jin cried out again- this time his voice displayed the fact that whatever or whoever he was fighting, has driven him to the point where he's about to give up and surrender, "Chanyeol and Bak..Baekhyun....Jimin, they're working for Yoongi too."

And that time, the phone slipped out of Jimin's hand and smashed to the ground. The phone screen cracked and the call cut off as it went black. Jimin stayed glued on his spot, staring down at the broken phone with his eyes filled with horror and betrayal. His heart beat against his chest and head felt light headed, everything's started blurring together, only for a voice to call out to him,

"Jimin?" Jimin's head slowly lifted, revealing the horror dazzled across his face. He swallowed thickly and stared back at Yoongi as he tilted his head to the side and took a step closer to Jimin, "You alright?"

But Jimin didn't answer, he could only inhale a sharp breath, and stare back at Yoongi with wide eyes and pale cheeks.
