Hello Readers,
I am back with another chapter. You know there is one thing high society loves is a party. But there is another thing they like too, it's pre-party preparation.

For others, it was just a party but for our students, it was The ball. A night to remember. So, how are things gonna disclosed, only time will tell.

"No. I am sorry"
Riddhima said to another boy who just asked her to ball.

"I know why I am saying no but why are you saying no?"
Asked Sana who was sitting with Riddhima in the canteen.

"Ishan hasn't asked me out yet"
Riddhima replied to which Sana rolled her eyes.

"Hey, he hasn't asked anyone out. Plus, he told me that we will go together. So...."
Riddhima continued.

"Whatever. You are coming and with a date. It doesn't matter if it's Ishan or not"
Sana ordered and Riddhima nodded agreeing with her.

"And wear something hot. Make Ishan turn his head and show him what he is missing"
Sana continued to help her friend.

"Hello children"
Saakshi came in and sat with the ladies.

"Whatch you gossiping about?"
She asked.

"Ball"
Riddhima answered.

"Ughhs"
Saakshi spoke making a face.

"You are coming"
Riddhima ordered.

"Yes, with a dress"
Sana added.

"Will see"
Saakshi said trying to find something to change the subject.

"Hey! Neha. Come here"
Saakshi saw Neha and called her to the table.

"Children, this is Neha"
Saakshi introduced emphasizing Neha. Everyone heard of her when Abhishek couldn't stop talking about her for the whole week.

The other two girls smiled and introduced themselves.

"Neha, you are coming to the party, right?"
Sana asked.

"Um I don't know"
Neha said.

"Come on it will be fun"
Riddhima added convincing Neha.

"Yeah, you can take Abhishek as your date"
Saakshi spoke rooting got her friend.

"Yes, Abhishek he's great. Sweet and Handsome"
Sana chipped in.

"Abhay is a gentleman"
Riddhima said as the three girls smiled.

"Ladies we are here "
Ishan greeted him as he came in with the other two boys.

Ishan went and sat beside Riddhima. Abhishek went and asked Neha if the place beside her was empty and if could he sit. To which Neha said that he could. Which makes her give goosebumps as no guy has asked her this question.

Shubman looked around finding no place to sit.
He saw Sana with a smirk. Shubman rolled his eyes.

"I'm going"
Saakshi said and got up.

"Why?"
Sana asked.

Saakshi looked at Shubman and said,
"You know why"

As Saakshi left, Shubman sat in her place and gave a simple smile at Sana.

"Why?"
Riddhima asked.

"She's not talking to him"
Sana answered.

"Because Shubman took the car keys"
Abhishek added.

"She was driving rough. It's fair"
Shubman spoke defending himself.

Don't we all deserve a good and supportive girl group?  So will Saakshi come to the Ball and who will the other girls take as their dates?

Saakshi entered her class, she was an hour early. So she thought she could use some silence but to her surprise, Dev was there.

"What are you doing here?"
Dev asked.
"Shouldn't you be home waking up with some French toast and shit"
He continued.

"You know what I did. Unlike you"
She had a comeback ready.

"Just go. I need to study"
Dev said putting his glasses back on.

"Didn't know you had glasses"
Saakshi said sitting beside his desk.

"There's a lot you know about me. So just"
Dev answered.

"What are you studying for? The exams are 2 months away"
Saakshi spoke.

"I like to stay prepared and exactly exams are just 2 months away"
Dev said.

"Yeah, Yeah. You study because you don't have anything else. You don't play sports, you aren't the head boy, you don't even go to the ball, you don't -"
Saakshi tried to challenge him.

"Who said I am not going to the ball?
Dev interrupted.

"Why would you go? I mean-"

"Well, I am going"
He answered.

"You need a date"
Saakshi said and stood up.

"I will get a date but who will go with you?"
Dev spoke and smirked at her.

To be honest, Saakshi was hurt by his remark. But she wasn't going to let him win.

"For your information Dev, I already have a date"
Saakshi said and left the room.

Is it just me or does Dev with glasses look like a golden retriever? Will Dev come to the ball? But there is one thing I know for sure The Gill Twin effect is for real. I mean people say Twins are the opposite but here they are so damn similar. Both of the twins lied about their date.

Shubman was walking towards his car when he Sana saying his name. Shubman turned around and said,
"What? You know I don't do Goodbye kisses"
Shubman smirked at his remark.

"Ewww. No. Ugh"
Sana exclaimed.

Shubman laughed.

"Whatever. About the ball tomorrow. Do you have um date?"
Sana asked.

"Why? you don't?"
Shubman asked back.

"It's not like that. I was just asking"
Sana said.

"Well I... Do"
He tried to speak. And lied.

"Shubman"

"Shubmannnn"

"Shubm-"

"Okay. Okay. I don't have a date."
Shubamn confessed.

Sana smiled and clapped her hands.
"Good. Then we should go together"

"What? You have a date to your party"
Shubman spoke.

"It's not-"

"Oh, I know. You rejected all the boys thinking you would find better and the day is about to end. You were overconfident"
Shubman concludes.

Sana just folded her hands and felt stupid for the whole thing. She dislikes this feeling a lot.

Shubman stopped laughing looking at her face. He came close to her and held her hand and
Asked,
"Okay, I'm sorry. Sana, would you do the honour of being my date to your ball?"

Sana smiled at his kindness and said,
"Yes"

Shubman smiled back and kissed her knuckles.

"Okay so wear a blue tie to match my dress. Don't be late and look good. And wear something comfy cause you have to dance"
Sana said and started walking towards her car, making Shubman reconsider his decision.

Oh looks like we already have a couple ready to get the ball. Aren't they the cutest? Shubman is truly a gentleman whatever you say. Now let's see how our in-love Abishek is doing.

Neha was writing what the teacher was writing on the board. Her focus was disturbed when he felt a paper in her book. The paper was crumbled. when she opened it, it read,

'wait for me after school <3

Neha looked behind and saw the grinning face of Abhishek. She didn't want to go but she kinda like the attention Abhishek was giving.

Neha was walking towards the car, and Abhishek was standing by. Neha looked at him, he was wearing a black leather jacket and a nice pink T-shirt followed by black pants and let's not forget black specs.

As Neha reached the car, Abhishek gave her a bouquet that he was hiding behind him.

"Beautiful flowers for a beautiful lady"
Abhishek said.

Neha blushed at his compliment.

"Thank You"
Neha said.

"um, I was suggesting that we could go somewhere."
Abhishek asked.

"Abhishek-"

"Please"
He showed his puppy face.

"Okay. Let's go"
Neha said as she couldn't resist that face.

They reached the Park. They said down on the swing.
"You like parks?"
Neha asked taking a small swing.

"I mean who doesn't? It brings out our inner child"
Abhishek answered.

"Um Neha I wanted to ask something"

"Go ahead"

"I know. I know we don't know each other a lot. And it's been hardly 2 weeks since we met. It may seem a little forward but I don't wanna waste time. But I also don't wanna rush things. So would you like to go to the ball... With me?"
Abhishek asked as he stopped his swing, looking at Neha.
And wondering how beautiful she looked.

Neha stopped her swing too after hearing what Abhishek said. She felt those bloody butterflies again.

"Abhishek I don't know what to say....."
Neha started to speak.

"But I know one thing, I like spending time with you. And I would be honoured to go with you"
Neha continued making Abhishek happy.

Happiness has erupted in the park. We have another couple for the ball. Abhishek really knows what to do and how to make a girl happy. But what about our Prankster, Ishan????

Ishan sat down on his bed and called the one person who was on his speed dial. Riddhima.

"Hello"
Ishan greeted her with a fresh tone.

"What are you calling for?"
She asked knowing him too well.

"Nothing re. Just wanted to ask you when should I pick you up?"
Ishan asked.

"Pick up for what?"

"The ball"
Ishan answered for being obvious.

"Why are you asking me? Ask your date."
Riddhima asked irritated.

"You are my date. That's why-"

"I'm not. You didn't ask me, Ishan"
Riddhima interrupted him.

"What? Wasn't that obvious? That... I mean..."

"No Ishan. I need words. Okay?"
She spoke up for herself.

"Okay. Um, will you go with me to the ball?"
Ishan asked.

"No"

"What? Why?"
Ishan asked as he stood up from the rejection.

"Ishan, I already have a date"
Riddhima said quietly. Kinda feeling bad.

"Who?"

"Rishabh"

"Rishabh. Like my friend Rishabh. The vice-captain Rishabh"
Ishan exclaimed.

"Yes. He asked me and I said yes. So yeah"
Ridhhima answered.

"Um okay. No worries. Um bye. See you tomorrow "
Ishan spoke and hung up the phone without waiting for a response.

Riddhima found it weird but let it go because she was angry. On the other hand, Ishan was furious as hell. He was betrayed by his close friend and his vice-captain.

Ishan picked up his phone again and made a call.

Ohh Ishan missed the chance. Come on Ishan you need to be more expressive and talk about your feelings. Hope he works on this and tries to make things right. And another question, who did Ishan call and who will go with Ishan??
