Here's how it kind of.. works-

an object god, considered as "the highest" of all, was born as a child and was given the purpose to take care of the 7 seeds that had the life within it, galaxies and stuff. and as it grows it learns how to create lifeforms, the first being plant sized ones. they all have been born as children, the childlike god taking its parental role of teaching them, and as they grow their sense of duty grows, to protect the plant from any outward dangers and the broken chain of harmony. as planets are made decades to decades, the plant sized gods create planet sized gods (that are smaller than them), and the same repeats over and over again.

the planet sized gods rule over planets, keeping its duty of peace and order. Since objects were advancing fast, peace wasn't always going to be the first option for them, so the only method for them to know that they (the gods) are watching over them, bestow curses and punishments to those who disobeyed. but gods can also be corrupted with this found power.

"the lowest" rank are the human gods, as they have power they are vulnerable to death and such like mortals. same goes for the other gods except "the highest" since they are the only most powerful god, making their creations and etc

the gods don't play much of a role since their physical and mortal form (lowest rank gets to stay like that, all other gods have their own limitations.)

or aka have a time limit on how many hours they get to stay as an physical/mortal object, it does depend on their actions or such but the downside is basically it costs them a year or two to recharge that ability and experience that mortality state again

some of the gods choose other objects to do their own duties as well, of they disobey their duties they lose that found power, the golden feathers (aka wings but aren't emo) mark their past.

The halo will also be followed, but it's kind of usual for objects (in their world) to have halos or wings and such, since again, species exist (examples being birds, sharks, wolves and more.

however, some knowledge will also be taken away too, and their passive abilities will be completely taken away.

so lemme just

if the object used to work for the gods, they are also tested of their abilities and how they use it in their independent ways, whether it's for the greater good or for the evil

and since these objects work for these gods, the gods will share their wisdom, powers and such as said following object

and their works?

objects who do their work will share this newfound wisdom and magic, whether it's a written book or some training sessions.

those who are loyal and have completed these goals are now one with the lowest ranks. But the difference between these are it's lifespan, knowledge and the power that they possess in their magical abilities.

The lowest will live longer than usual, maybe up till decades. But reminder that they aren't exactly immortal too.
