The clicking of the clock above the wall across from you in the quiet hotel room for long. You couldn't sleep, at all, just like every night it seems like now.

You lost your house and now living in a hotel room for a while, paying rent for however long you can until you get closer and closer to debt.

Why not ask your parents for money?
What about ask siblings for money?
Why not get a job?
You could answer all the them, actually you are going to answer them now. Your parents kicked you out of your house since you said you were the one doing drugs to save your lazy ass manipulative boyfriend. You thought it was true love, really it was that you were so desperate for someone. You did anything to keep him.

So they kicked you out, you didn't have any siblings. You were in search for a job and thinking of maybe applying for a simple job around here before debt gets too close.

What kicked you out of your thoughts was loud feet running down the hallway, male swearings. You pulled the blanket off you, you decided to investigate it since you couldn't sleep anyways. You got out of bed, legs aching from laying in bed for so long. You limped to the door, your leg having a static feeling to it.

You opened the door and saw him run past your door. A curled dark brown haired man, cursing wildly. You stepped out, blinded by the hallway lights compared to your pitch black room.

"Hey!" You whispered yelled at him, he quickly turned around, scared already. By your voice or something else? "What are you doing out here?" You added on in the same tone of voice.

"U-um..I forgot something in my car, sorry if I woke you up-"
"At this time of night?! I don't believe that one bit!"
"U-um, sorry then." He muttered a curse word under your breath at you. He was going to turn to go back to whatever he was doing until he saw something. He grabbed your hand and started running again.

"Hey! You fuc-" He slammed you behind a corner in a little open room where the soft drinks and stuff were. He & you were out of breath, he was more as he seemed scared out of his mind.

His hand was resting on your shoulder as he looked down the hallway. You forcefully pushed his hand off, "what the hell was that f-"
"Shh" he whispered at you as his eyes seemed to get a bit wider in fear. "I-I'm so sorry Miss (guessing most of you readers are female). I'll explain everything to you once we leave."

"You can't just pull me away from this place! I don't know you!"

"Well thanks for that! I don't know you either, are we on the right fucking page now!?" He sounded frustrated with you as he glared at you.

"Now, would you want some soda or something to clean your mouth?" He grinned a bit to his sassy joke. Did he just try to offend me?

You two started bickering back at each other to outside the hotel.

He pulled you in the parking lot by his car. "So I saw this- okay first you likely won't believe me on this stuff. But I saw this person in my hotel room..I.." He then explained more and more what's been happening.

You decided to help him after he got you to trust each other for a while of talking and sharing some whiskey between the two of you.

You explained on how you got kicked out of your parent's home and you felt even closer to Noah (you learned his name).

It was New Year's and it felt so weird. It didn't feel like NY's at all, based on what has been happening so far.

You were watching the ball drop from the tv in the living room in silence.

Noah seemed to scoot over towards you and pretty much knee to knee. You blushed very slightly and looked to the corner of your eye at him. He was still watching tv, like what the fuck?

He got even closer, wrapping his arm around you, pulling you closer. He turned you head towards him by his hand that wasn't wrapped around you. He leaned in as the ball was close to the bottom. He then kissed you forcefully when the ball dropped, like he rushed it and didn't notice it.

You didn't know if you enjoyed it or didn't, you've never been kissed ever in your life. He pulled away and you teased him on it, saying it was too forceful or he has no skill in it, that it was rushed. You two bickered at each other all morning basically and the rest of your life
