Charles was not happy with Erik declaring war although he understood it. Charles wasn't sure he'd have done differently in his friend's situation. "You realize of course that Hydra will come after you?" He asked as his friend sat across from him and used his powers or move his rook to take Charles' bishop.

"Of course" Erik replied simply as he let Charles take his turn. "I will of course leave the school so they don't attack the children"

Charles shook his head, surprising Erik. "You will do no such thing. Nowhere is better hidden than here, nowhere is better protected. Nowhere else do you have access to people who can shield your location from anyone on earth"

Erik nodded, understanding the logic behind the argument. "Alright" he spoke as he now took his own turn since Charles was done. "You should know the avengers have offered to aid me. Off the record of course"

"No doubt to attempt to keep you in line" Charles let out a small laugh which was quickly followed by one of Erik's own.

"No doubt" Erik agreed. "Still however their aid will be helpful"

Professor Xavier nodded. "Your daughter alone would-"

"She- Wanda is not to be involved in this" Erik quickly shook his head as he spoke gravely. "None of my family are to be involved"

"I understand" Charles spoke with another nod. "Shall I remove the boys from active X-Men duty?"

Erik considered this before shaking his head. "They would just resist and go off on their own. Best to keep them where we can watch them"

"Wisely spoken" Charles let out a laugh. "Very fatherly of you" that prompted Erik to laugh again too.

"Fire!" The Hydra commander ordered as their enemy slowly walked towards them. His soldiers all followed his commands, the plastic bullets firing just as fast and as powerfully as a normal bullet.

Panels from the walls quickly flew off and blocked the bullets. "You Homo sapiens and your guns" the voice of Magneto spoke judgingly before the wall panels went flying into the men, sending everyone but the commander to the ground.

The commander tried to run away but Magneto lifted his hands and one of the fallen panels quickly flew towards his leg at an impossible speed.

Luckily for the commander the Panel was quickly caught and slowed by a web so instead of slicing the leg off it only hit it and forced the man to fall down. "Nazi or not if you're working with the avengers nobody's getting their limbs chopped off for no reason" Magneto turned around to see Silk on the wall.

Magneto turned back to the commander to see that Silk had webbed him to the ground. "If only you had the willingness to do what must be done"

"I think we just proved here that it doesn't need to be done" Silk rolled her eyes as she jumped to the ground. "Look I get why you want them dead but this way we can interrogate them, find more of their bases"

Magneto nodded as he turned away from the villains. It did make sense to try and get as much information out of them as possible, something he himself would have considered if he hadn't been so emotionally invested in this situation. "Prepare them then for Fury's arrival. But make no mistake, when we find their leadership nothing you do will stop me from killing them"

"We'll deal with that when we come to it I suppose" Silk muttered as she rubbed the back of her head and walked over to the downed Nazi's.

Back at Xavier's school No normal student was allowed outside of school grounds. No chances were being taken with hydra even though the staff were almost sure hydra didn't know about the school.

The whole situation was a tense topic with the students. Everyone knew Magneto's background and everyone had seen his deceleration of war, everyone had different opinions on how this would all end.

Kitty and Warren feared this would lead the man back down the path he had once lead, fighting a war against not just hydra but the government's of the world.

Kurt hoped this would all end with hydras destruction, he truly didn't think Magneto would go back to his old ways.

Magneto's relatives were very contradictory with their opinions. Wanda and Lorna believed that their father should tone it down, that if he kept going at the rate it would just get him hurt in one way or another. Quicksilver was glad those Nazi's were getting what they deserved. Billy wished his grandfather could see that this wasn't necessary, that he didn't need to be the one to take down hydra, the avengers would do it themselves in due time, and Erik would do more good at home with his family. (Y/n) and Tommy just waited for the word that their grandfather needed them, they were ready to help fight.

The one thing everyone could agree on was that the sooner this all ended the better.
