Sunday night had finally rolled around and I was beyond antsy to spend some time with Auggie this coming week.

Okay so technically we've seen each other in passing a few days throughout the week...but neither of us really approached the other in acknowledgment of "keeping distance" or whatever it was we were doing.

And to be honest we haven't exactly set up any sort of meet-up or anything like that, but something just told me that when I see him next I wouldn't be able to contain myself.

I thought back to the night in my apartment, I don't know how everything went down but for whatever reason I woke up in his arms and needless to say, I was instantly addicted to his touch.

"Ugh, we haven't done anything in ages..." Gigi sounded from the other side of the living room.

Kelly and I looked at her...I mean it was Gigi, the same girl who'd get after us for "partying too much."

"Did you have something in mind?" I asked still a little humored now.

"Well I mean, we did use to go dancing like every weekend." Gigi said knowingly.

I sighed, of course as my closest friends I'd told them every single thing that has happened between Auggie and I so they know all about the contract and us trying to currently be cool and create space between us.

All that said, and they were still trying to push us together.

"Well I mean...Gigi's right, we haven't gone dancing since you and Augustine found each other and I mean he does own a club so let's just go there." Kelly offered.

"You guys know we aren't suppose to see each other until after this weekend." I pointed out.

Kelly rolled her eyes and Gigi shrugged and spoke up, "Well didn't your dad use to say your weekend ended Sunday at sundown back when you had your curfew."

Kelly smiled, "That's right...plus, I'm sure your wolf wouldn't oppose to seeing him right now."

'Mate.' She whined.

I knew I was officially out numbered now. "I don't even know what I'm going to wear." I said as I gave into their request to go to my mate's club.

I didn't know how I'd react to seeing him, if he's even here.

'He's here.' My wolf preactically purred. 'Mate'

She directed our vision over to the private parking lot beside the club and I saw him on his phone.

"You coming?" Gigi asked when she noticed I hadn't continued toward the club with them.

"Y-yeah...I promise, I'll meet you both inside."

She and Kelly nodded their understanding and left me alone.

I carefully made my way over to him, watching as he hung up his phone and leaned against his car.

I was only a few feet away from him before he must've picked up my scent and turned to see me.

Seeing his handsome smile fill his face made me move without thinking.

I rushed forward and jumped into his arms, I wrapped my own arms around the back of his neck and placed a kiss on his lips.

That was it...nothing more, just one kiss that let him know how much I had truly missed him, and as he kissed me back I could feel the same emotions spilling from him as well.

He chuckled softly and carefully placed me back on the ground.

"I missed you." I admitted.

He smiled and nodded, " Of course I missed you too, but what are you doing here?"

"Should I not have come?" I asked worried. 

He shook his head, "That isn't what I meant Gracie...so long as I am around you can come here whenever you please."

"I think your Alpha may have some aversions to my being here..."

"He can go and fuck himself for all I care..." He growled.

I reached up and touched his face, "Hey you don't mean that Auggie...he's still your brother." I said, feeling bad that he was resenting his own brother because of me.

He touched my hand before taking it into his own, "It's hard to see him as my brother when he's hurting me so badly."

My own heart ached now.

"But enough on that...you look like you came to have some fun." He pointed out, clearly changing the subject.

"Oh...yeah." I said looking down at the short dress Kelly had picked out, "The girls wanted to come out dancing."

"And you didn't?" He asked skeptically.

I was feeling flirty having been away from him and acted on it, "I wanted to see my mate...I missed his touch."

He snaked his arms around my waist now and drew me in closer to him, "Mmm...I know the feeling Beautiful...maybe we should go up to my office?"

I smiled because I knew he couldn't flat out ask my up to his office due to his brother's order...but he sounded cute in his attempts to be sexy while trying to keep to his orders.

In the end I shook my head and refused him, "My friends are in there and I'm already making them wait for me, I'm not going to ignore them the whole time we're here too."

"Fine...go have fun, I'll be around to make sure you're being good...but...how about, maybe you'd like to think about asking me to spend the night at my place?"

I held back a laugh, once again...I could tell he was being bold but was restrained from the order...and to be honest, with his arms still around my waist mixed with the fact that I'd kept my distance from him all week...the idea of staying with my mate was getting more than a little excited now...no doubt my wolf was all for it.

Of course I had to remind myself that this probably wasn't a good idea.

"I can't." I said as I tried to mask my sudden sadness again. I did truly wish I could just say yes as easily as he asked. But I knew my staying here couldn't cause him very real problems if his family found out.

"You can...unless you don't want to."

"I do...it's just your family...-"

"Will have to deal with it...let me worry about them Gracie...so again I'll say unless you have another reason to object...?"

What reason did I actually have? Anything I offered up, I knew he'd just come back with a simple answer to dispel it.

He looked at me and knew I didn't have a good enough excuse to not stay with him and he smirked as he still awaited my offical answer.

"Well...if I did ask you to spend the night at your place, You'll have to see me at school in this same outfit tomorrow as I do have classes."

"Ditching one day won't kill you." He said cooly.

"And don't you have classes tomorrow?"

He shook his head, "Nope...I typically only have classes Wednesday and Thursdays, with two advanced classes in the morning  on Friday."

I felt a little hurt, I had just expected to see him at school, and that means that if I hadn't come out to his club tonight I wouldn't have even seen him at all until Wednesday. "W-were you going to tell me?" I asked more than a little sad...maybe this contracted marriage thing was becoming too much for him to continue things with me?

"Of course I was...I did, or at least I tried to tell you...I just hung-up from leaving a message on your phone." He said, I suggested we could bump into each other tomorrow around lunch time at this great restaurant near the school and then go from there."

It was then that I realized I must've left my phone back at the apartment. "Sorry," I sounded more than a little embarrassed now. "It's just...well, the thought of not being able to see you again...-"

"Hey," He said softly, "Don't ever apologize for your feelings Gracie, I promise...I'd feel the exact same way if I was expecting to see you and suddenly couldn't."

He surprised me when he bent down and kissed my forehead.

I smiled at how sweet my mate truly is.

"Hey...so, maybe it'd be cool if I spent the night at your place?" I offered, looking up into his dark eyes.

"If you insist." He smirked before he took my hand and led me into his club. "Go have fun, I have some work to get done anyways."
