Alex walked to school feeling in a good mood following yesterday after telling Alexa, one of the most popular girls in Kibito High School that he has a crush on her and the Goddess accepts it.

As he went into the school grounds, he spotted Seth, Junichi, Masayoshi and Kaoru chilling at an outdoor table. The group noticed Alex's good mood and Masayoshi and Kaoru wasted no time to start interrogating him.

Kaoru: hey Auditore, why are you in such a good mood today, hmm?

Alex: what is it wrong for me to be happy?

Masayoshi: I remember you were a lonely bum for a long time

Kaoru: so can you tell us?

Alex: fine, get ready for a story

They gathered around and listened.

Alex: yesterday, I forgot my notebook, so I went to get it; then I saw Alexa sitting alone on the fountain

Seth: this is interesting

Alex: I asked her what's her type of guy

Junichi: what is it?

Alex: she likes someone who loves animals, takes his education seriously and is always there to protect her

Masayoshi: that almost sounds like you

Alex: it's a maybe

Kaoru: a maybe? You fit all three of those characteristics

Alex: guys, it's Alexa we're talking about here; she's popular; probably there's a good looking guy who fits those three characteristics

Seth: don't lose confidence dude; besides you got to talk to her alone

Alex: oh yeah

(With Alexa and Haruka)

Haruka: he told you he has a crush on you?

Alexa: yeah, and he so adorable when he was stuttering

Haruka: and what did you say to Alex?

Alexa: I accepted and understood he has a crush on me, so it's a mutual thing

Haruka: is he like any of the other guys who confessed to you?

Alexa: as a matter of fact no, Alex is just a normal guy; he's not like those jocks and those bad boys who don't take their schooling seriously

Haruka: you got a point, most of the guys who are our suitors are jerks, and all they have is the looks, but not the heart

Alexa: yeah, but Alex not only has the looks, but I believe he's a good guy; he's not a jerk and I know he's a smart student because I see his name on the honor's list

Haruka: wait, why are you thinking about Alex, hmm?

Alexa lightly blushed and looked down to hide her red cheeks. Haruka saw this and giggled as she continued to tease her best friend.

Haruka: Alexa?

Alexa: okay Haruka

Haruka: I know you got something to say, so spill it

Alexa: Alex, his confession that he likes me and his nice personality; I'm interested in him

Haruka: you sure you're not having a crush him?

Alexa: I want to get to him more; he's really cute

Haruka: get to him when he's on his own

Alexa: a perfect opportunity

Haruka: oh you're so kawaii, Alexa-san

Alexa: come on, let's get to class

(2 hours later)

Class ended for lunch break and the group decided on who will buy lunch for them, and this time Seth lost. He managed to get through the lunch rush and bought food for the group. After a few hours of class, the day was over, but Alex being the good guy, decided to go to the library to study for the quiz tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Alexa finished her last class and hope to find Alex alone. The Goddess went looking for him, but no sign until she spotted his best friend Seth.

Alexa: Seth!

Seth: oh hey Alexa, what's up?

Alexa: you know where Alex is?

Seth: he's at the library studying for a test tomorrow

Alexa: thanks

Seth: have fun

Alexa rushed to the library and went in. She looked around for Alex and to her relief, she saw him with his laptop and books all laser focused for the test tomorrow. Alexa smiled and blushed a bit; she sneaked up behind him and covered his eyes with her hands.

Alexa: guess who?

Alex: is it Alexa Bliss?

Alexa: you guessed right

She sat down across from him.

Alex: so do you need anything?

Alexa: no, I just wanna hang with you that's all

Alex: wait, why me? Where's Haruka?

Alexa: Haruka went home, and get this, earlier I turned down another guy from my class

Alex: I wonder how he'd take it

Alexa: he took it well

Alexa then gripped her skirt before telling Alex something.

Alexa: Alex, there's something I need to say to you

Alex: hmm?

Alexa: c-can you help me with math homework?

Alex: yes sure; math is one of my strong subjects

Alexa: there's one problem I'm having a hard time with

Alex: let's see it

Alexa took out her math book and showed Alex the problem she was struggling. Alex explained the process to her and the Goddess took notes of it; she understood and solved the problem with Alex's help.

Alexa: I got it

Alex: you did a good job, Alexa

Alexa: all thanks to you

Alex: nah, it was nothing

Alexa: it is Alex, this math problem is really hard, but you made it look easy

Alex: well I take my education seriously

Alexa was surprised as she heard that. Then she remembered what she told Alex yesterday about her dream guy's characteristics.

Alex: I'll continue studying at home; Alexa, are you going home as well?

Alexa: yes

Alex: okay, we'll walk together

The two students left the campus and walked home together. For Alex, this was awesome for him.

Alex's mind: I can't believe I'm walking home with Alexa Bliss

Alexa: hey Alex

Alex: yes?

Alexa: do you have something to tell me?

Alex: nope

Alexa: are you sure? Remember, if you have something to say, don't hesitate

Alex: uhh, I hope you pass Math

Alexa: oh, it's not one of my strongest, but thanks to your help, I'm confident

Alex: yeah, if you fail, don't quit; keep working hard to reach your goal

Alexa: are you a philosopher?

She giggled.

Alex: nah, it's my motto

Alexa: I can see why

Alex: huh?

Alexa: I always see your name on the honor's list

Alex: oh, that's not something I want to brag, I'm not boastful; if my name's there, okay my hardwork paid off

Alexa: you know Alex, I admire you

Alex's eyes widen.

Alex: why is that?

Alexa: unlike you, the guys who want to go out with me are always showing off, saying their the best at certain things, but you, you're the complete opposite of those guys

Alex: thank you, Alexa, that's very nice of you

After a few minutes of walking and talking, the two arrived at Alexa's house.

Alexa: well this is my house

Alex: nice place you have

Alexa: thanks

Alex: anyways, I'll see you tomorrow

Alexa: Alex wait!

Alex: yes Alexa?

She didn't say anything, instead she just hugged him.

Alexa: thank you again for helping

Alex: no problem, if you want more help on your work, you can come to me for help

Alexa smiled. Then without hesitation, she kissed Alex on the cheek, surprising him. Alex had a look like he was lost. The Goddess giggled.

Alexa: you're so cute; good night and see you tomorrow

Alex: uh huh

Alexa went into her house with a smile on her face. Then Alex headed for home.

(Alex's house)

While he was studying for his test tomorrow, Alex held the side of his cheek where Alexa kissed him.

Alex's mind: did one of the most popular girls just kissed me? No Alex, she's way out of your league

With that thought, Alex's mind and heart are now at war with each other, but his heart won the fight.

Alex: I'm in love with Alexa Bliss

He finished studying and went to bed as his heart is racing fast and his feelings for Alexa increase.
