The Story: At Night Of Champions, Baron Corbin eliminated 25 other men to win the United States Championship. Since then, he has defended the title in dominant fashion, and has knocked off every challenger that has stood in his way.

On Smackdown, Jaylin Timmons won the opportunity to face Baron Corbin, for the championship, in a Battle Royal.

The following night on RAW, Jaylin Timmons made an impassioned statement to the WWE Universe, that he will win the United States Championship. Baron Corbin then attacked Jaylin from behind, following it up with an End of Days, to send a message.

The Match: As Jaylin Timmons made his entrance, Baron Corbin attacked him from behind and he proceeded to viciously attack Jaylin, tossing him into the ring post on the outside.

After a brutal assault, Baron Corbin hits the end of days on Jaylin, on the concrete floor. Corbin then tosses Jaylin in the ring, goes for the cover, but Jaylin kicks out at two. Baron Corbin then signals for the Big Boot, but Jaylin catches him with a Shout Out. Jaylin then goes for the cover, but Corbin kicks out at two.

Jaylin then tries to build momentum, but Corbin hits him with Deep Six. Corbin then gets out of the ring, and he walks away, with the title, getting himself counted out.
