The Story: Since Wrestlemania 31, Christal Brown has been dominant as the Divas Champion. She has turned away every challenge at every turn, and she still yearns for more challenging opponents.

After defending her championship at "Anarchy In The East", Christal was given the opportunity to choose her next opponent, for "Night of Champions". Her choice, the former NXT Women's Champion, Bailey.

Bailey heads into her first televised WWE match, and it is for the Divas Championship, against a future Hall of Famer. Can she do the unthinkable, and win the Divas Championship in her debut match?

Christal Brown:

The Match: Christal and Bailey then get into a staredown, before locking up with each other. For five minutes, Christal and Bailey trade holds back and forth, with no clear advantage to the other. Bailey tries for a diving cross body, off of the top rope, but Christal catches her with a dropkick, in mid air.

Christal then spends the next two minutes wearing Bailey down, with various attacks to her arm. Christal then locks in an Armbar submission hold, further softening Bailey's arm. Bailey manages to counter this into a schoolboy pin, but Christal kicks out at two.

Bailey then begins to wear down Christal, taking control of the second half of the match. Bailey tries to hit a DDT on Christal, but Christal counters it into a Spinebuster. Christal then goes for the cover, but Bailey kicks out at two. Christal then goes to the top rope for her pattened Lovestruck Elbow Drop, but Bailey moves out of the way, as Christal comes down.

Bailey then knocks Christal out of ring, and she hits a Suicide Dive on the champion. Bailey tries to Hug-Plex Christal on the floor, but Christal somehow lands on her feet, and she catches Bailey with a roundhouse kick. Christal then goes back into the ring, and she goes to the top rope. In a stunning moment, Christal hits Bailey with a moonsault, from the top rope.

After getting Bailey back in the ring, Christal covers Bailey, but she gets a near fall. Christal then tunes up the band for Sweet Chin Music, but Bailey ducks and she hits a German Suplex on Christal. Bailey then goes to the top rope, and she hits a Phoenix Splash on Christal. She goes for a cover, but Christal kicks out at two.

Bailey then prepares to lock Christal in the Guillotine Choke, But Christal counters it into the Black Lotus Crossface, Bailey then manages to counter the Crossface, into a Koji Clutch. Christal then breaks free and she locks Bailey in the Sharpshooter. Bailey then reaches the ropes 2 minutes later, causing a break. Christal then prepares to stalk Bailey, for the Chriss Kiss. Bailey counters the attempt, into a Hug-Plex. Bailey goes for the cover, but Christal kicks out at two and a half.

Bailey then picks up Christal, only to get hit with a sudden Sweet Chin Music. Christal then goes out to the apron, and she hits a Springboard version, of her Lovestruck Elbow Drop on Bailey. Christal then goes for the cover, but Bailey survives at two. Christal then goes to the outside, and she begins to take apart the German Announce Table.

Christal then throws Bailey out of the ring, and she puts her on top of the table. She tries to put her through it, with a Chriss Kiss, but Bailey catches her with a Sleeper Hold. After two minutes of being in the hold, Christal falls back, putting herself and Bailey through the Announce Table. Christal manages to get back in the ring, at a count of six, while Bailey makes it back in at nine and a half.

Christal then stalks Bailey for the Chriss Kiss, but Bailey locks in the Guillotine Choke from out of nowhere. Christal then manages to power out and she hits a Pedigree on Bailey. Christal then goes for the cover, but Bailey miraculously kicks out at two and a half. Christal then tries to hit the Chriss Kiss once more, but Bailey counters it into the Hug-Plex for the win.

Winner and new Divas Champion: Bailey

After the match: Christal shakes Bailey's hand and she raises it in victory. Suddenly, the titantron malfunctions, and Abby Wyatt, takes the place of Christal. Bailey tries to attack, buy Abby hits the new Champion, with the Edge of Darkness finishing move. Abby Wyatt then stands over Bailey, laughing maniacally as the lights fade out.
