The Story: On the night after Night Of Champions, It was announced that a number one contenders match, will take place at Hell In a Cell.

Four competitors stepped up, to get an opportunity to face Brock Lesnar, for the Champion of Champions Title. Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.

On the final RAW before Hell In a Cell, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, fought in a Tag Team match, against Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. The Match ended in a no contest, with all of the competitor's hitting their finishing moves on each other. Kevin Owens was the last man standing however, after giving Roman Reigns a Pop Up Powerbomb.

The Match: The four competitors began the match, brawling. Reigns went after Owens, while Bryan went after Orton. Reigns and Owens the take their fight to the outside, surrounded by the Cell's steel walls. Roman wastes no time using the cell as a weapon, against Owens, slamming him back first into the structure. Daniel Bryan then knocks Orton out of the ring, right near Reigns and Owens. Daniel then gets a running start, and he performed a Suicide Dive, on the other three competitors, knocking them down.

Bryan then turns his attention back to Orton, and he smashes Orton's face into the cell, repeatedly. As a result, Randy Orton was busted open, allowing Bryan to focus his attack on Randy's head, by giving him right hands to the open wound. Meanwhile, Reigns places Owens on the ring apron, and he hits him with a Drive-By dropkick. Reigns then goes under the ring, and he pulls out a Table. He then sets it up on the outside, before turning his attention to Daniel Bryan.

Reigns then throws Daniel Bryan into the steel ring steps, and he baseball slides Bryan further into the steel. Randy Orton then gets out a Steel Chair, and he cracks Roman Reigns in the skull. Randy then hits Roman Reigns with the Steel Chair, 10 times, in the back. Randy then gets Bryan back inside the ring. Orton then begins to stomp on every body part of Daniel Bryan, wearing the Yes man down. Randy is then attacked from behind, by Kevin Owens, who hits him with a Kendo Stick, 7 times in the back.

Kevin Owens then grabs a Steel Chair, and he places it on top of Orton. Kevin then does a running senton on Randy Orton, while the Chair was on top of him. Owens goes for the cover, but a bloody Roman Reigns, breaks up the count. Roman and Owens then trade blows with each other, going back back and forth, until Owens super kicks Roman into the turnbuckle.

Owens then tries to hit a Superplex on Reigns, but Daniel Bryan meets Owens up on the turnbuckle, and he tries to team up with Owens, but Orton pulls Owens and Bryan, into a Superplex Powerbomb, sending Reigns, Bryan and Owens crashing into the canvas. Orton then covers Owens, but The Prizefighter kicks out at two.

Randy then prepares to hit an elevated DDT on Owens, but he sees Daniel Bryan get on to the apron. He grabs Bryan, and he hits a double Elevated DDT on Owens and Bryan. Randy then prepares to call for the RKO, by stalking Bryan. Suddenly, Roman Reigns hits Orton, with a Superman Punch, wrapped with a Steel chain. Reigns then tries to Spear Kevin Owens, but Owens back body drops Reigns out of the ring, and through the Table that Reigns set up earlier.

Kevin Owens, then tries to attack Bryan, but Bryan kicks Owens in the leg, and he does the Kneeling Kick Combo. Daniel Bryan then goes out of the ring, and he brings out a Ladder. Bryan sets it up, and he climbs it. Bryan then does a Flying Goat, from the top of the Ladder, on Kevin Owens. Daniel then goes into the corner, stalking Owens for the running knee, but Randy Orton hits Bryan, with an RKO, from out of nowhere. Orton then goes for the cover, but Bryan kicks out at two.

Orton then places a chair in the center of the ring, and he prepares to RKO Daniel Bryan on it. Daniel then reverses the attempt, and he locks in the Yes Lock. Moments later, Kevin Owens breaks up the Yes Lock, and he hits Bryan with a Pop Up Powerbomb. Owens then goes for the cover, but Daniel Bryan kicks out at two.

Kevin Owens then sits Daniel Bryan in the corner, and he places a Garbage Can in front of him. Owens then hits a Cannonball senton on Daniel Bryan, while he was trapped in between the Corner and the Garbage Can. Owens is then hit with a Spear from Roman Reigns. Roman then attempts to hit a Spear on Orton, but Orton RKO's him, on the chair. Before Randy goes for the cover, he knocks out Reigns, with a vicious Punt Kick to the skull. Randy then goes for the cover, and he wins the Fatal 4 Way, becoming the #1 contender for the Champion of Champions Title.

Winner and #1 contender: Randy Orton.

After the match: Brock Lesnar emerges from the crowd, and he hits three German Suplexes on Randy Orton, before laying out the Viper with a blistering F5. Lesnar then raises the championship above his head, sending a message to the new challenger.
