I recently went on a school trip to Belgium and France and i got inspired to write some wartime poetry and monologues. Whilst there, i visted places such as Tyncott Cemetry in Ypres, Sanctuary Woods, The Menin gate, The Somme Battlefield and many more places. I was deeply affected by this visit and it made me appreciate life a lot more. I really hope you enjoy my poems, i am only 13 so don't be too harsh but all constructive critism is welcome.
