"Sooo, what do you want to do?" I asked.

"See Jinx." Illumi replied. Who the fuck is Jinx? (Jealousy jealousy-) "My cat." Illumi added. Oh.

"Ooo, I want to see Jinx then." I said. Anything to pet a kitty.

"Jinx doesn't like people, but alright." Illumi replied, now leading the way. I wanna pet the kitty! Illumi opened a door, to what I'm assuming is his room.

"Jinx." Illumi called, causing a black cat to show themselves.

Pretty kitty! I must pet! Jinx jumped onto Illumi's bed, enjoying the attention Illumi gave him. Once Jinx noticed me, he slowly sniffed my hand, then allowed me to pet him.

"That's weird..." Illumi said. What's weird?

"What?" I asked, still petting Jinx, whom enjoyed the attention.

"Jinx doesn't usually allow people besides me to pet him." Illumi explained. Jinx walked back toward Illumi after hearing his name. Aww, I wanted to pet Jinx more!

"Oh, so basically I'm special." I replied, cooing Jinx back over toward me. Ha! Now I can pet the pretty kitty!

"It's probably just that you smell like me.." Illumi mentioned, or that I guess. I laid down on Illumi's bed, allowing Jinx to crawl on me. "You could've at least asked for permission first.." Illumi muttered.

"May I lay on your bed?" I asked, rolling my eyes.

"Just for that, no get off." Illumi replied, grabbing Jinx from me. Excuse me, who the fuck gave you the right to take my cat from me?

"Give me my cat back." I said, attempting to grab Jinx.

"Your cat? I think you mean my cat." Illumi corrected. Bitch, I've illegally adopted your cat, and that's final.

"I'm not getting off your bed until I get Jinx back." I replied, still attempting to grab Jinx.

"Fine." Illumi said, stepping away from the bed so I couldn't reach him.

"Fine." I responded, laying back down.

"..."

"..."

"...Your beds really comfortable." I said.

"...I know." Illumi replied.

"Can I pet Jinx again?" I asked, turning towards Illumi.

"...Sure." Illumi replied, sitting on the bed. Jinx jumped out of Illumi's arms, laying between me and Illumi. I pet Jinx while Illumi started to read a book.

"..."

"..."

"This is annoying." Illumi muttered, moving his hair out of his face. Oo, I have idea!

"Here." I said, staring to braid Illumi's hair. Ha! This time Gon can't stop me.

"...Thanks." Illumi responded.

"...So, what was Killua like as a child?" I asked. I need blackmail.

"He was much more determined to become an assassin back then... He always tried to sneak attack me, it was amazing." Illumi replied. That is so fucking cute!

"What did he look like back then?" I asked, finishing braiding Illumi's hair.

"I have a photo, I can show you." Illumi said, grabbing his phone. Yes!

Woah! Killua was cute as a child! "If you all weren't assassins you could be models." I mentioned.

"...Honestly, yeah." Illumi agreed before going back to reading. I decided to grab a book to read as well. Let's see, the art of war, 300 ways to murder someone, world domination for cats, wait... I have an idea. I grabbed the world domination for cats book, as well as a book for myself before going back to the bed. I gave Jinx the world domination for cats book and then started to read my own.

Illumi finally got curious enough to look at the book I handed Jinx, before letting out a small chuckle. "You've doomed us all, now Jinx will take over the world and we can't stop him!" Illumi joked, causing me to laugh.

"Please spare us, Jinx all-mighty!" I added. Which became funnier when Jinx shook his head no.

"Nooooo! Now we are doomed to become his slaves forever!" Illumi said, dramatically falling off the bed, earning a confused and judging look from Jinx.

I burst out laughing, while Illumi only let out a small laugh before stopping himself.

"I- H-help-" I managed to choke out before falling off the bed, earning me a judgmental look from Jinx. Illumi let out another small laugh, while jinx decided to take over the bed completely.

"What do you want to do?" I asked Illumi once I finally stopped laughing. Jinx climbed onto my shoulder, annoyed at the lack of attention he was getting before.

"I'm going to talk to my father, you should stay here with Jinx." Illumi replied, walking out of the room.

"Damn, mans abandoned me." I muttered, sitting back on the bed. "Hey Jinx, what should I do?" I asked. Am I talking to a cat right now? Illumi has been gone for like ten seconds and I'm already going crazy. Jinx walked towards the closet, giving me an idea. I should try on some of Illumi's clothes!

I quickly jumped off the bed and looked in the closet. Let's see, crop tops, pants, Oo, hoodies! I quickly put on a black hoodie, which was hella oversized. Jinx meowed at me, wanting attention. I picked him up and sat back down on the bed.

✨A little while later✨

Illumi entered the room, staring at me for a minute before shaking his head and going into the closet. (Illumi hasn't come out of the closet-) When he returned, he threw some clothes at me then pointed to the bathroom.

I entered the bathroom then looked at the clothes Illumi gave me, A (F/c) shirt, and a pair of jeans, both of which seemed to be my size. I quickly changed, putting the oversized hoodie back on. This hoodie is mine now, Illumi will never have it back.

I exited the bathroom. Illumi was now laying on the bed with Jinx. Illumi glanced over, muttering "you look nice." Before moving his attention back to Jinx. I laid next to Illumi, causing Jinx to move away from Illumi and closer to me.

I cuddled with Jinx for awhile, eventually falling asleep.

✨The next day✨

When I woke up Illumi was already awake, still lying down petting Jinx. "Good morning." I muttered, attempting to go back to sleep.

"Good morning." Illumi replied. After finally deciding that I wouldn't fall back asleep I got up, quickly fixing my hair before following Illumi down to the dining room.

"Ah! Good morning love birds! I went to tell you both dinner was done last night, but you both were cuddling each other, it was so cute I couldn't bring myself to wake you up!" Kikyo squealed.

"Mm, good morning mother." I replied, deciding to ignore the rest of what she said.

"Oh! You're even wearing Illumi's clothes!" Kikyo said, oh yeah, I kinda forgot that I was wearing Illumi's clothes. Oh well, I can't be bothered to change.

"Yeah, Illumi let me borrow them." I replied.

"You both are such a perfect couple that I'm starting to think this is a romance book!" She said.

"Mhm." I replied, Kikyo continued to go on about how good we we're together, while I just nodded or complimented Illumi and how well she raised him every once in a while. Gotta speedrun becoming the favorite child.

"Oh perfect! Breakfast is ready!" Kikyo said, practically dragging me to the table. I noticed a few people I hadn't seen before sitting there, Killua however was nowhere to be seen. I sat next to Illumi, at what was probably Killua's spot.

"Mom who's that?" A fat guy asked, before shoving food in his mouth.

"That's Y/n, Illumi's fiancée." Kikyo responded, causing the fat guy to choke on his food. Illumi handed me some food, which I gladly took. Free food is the best food. (Haha- 50/50 chance it's poisoned-)

"What!?" The fat guy shouted once he stopped choking.

"Be polite!" Kikyo shouted, hitting the fat guy.

"Sorry momma." The fat guy said, rubbing the back of his head. I silently watched the drama while eating, praying to whatever god there may be that I didn't have to talk.

"Y/n where did you meet Illumi?" Kikyo asked, probably hoping for some overly romantic story.

"The hunter exam." I replied, to lazy to come up with a more pleasing story.

"That wasn't even a month ago.." The other child mentioned. Are they a he or a she? Their clothing and hair makes them look like a girl, but they also look like a boy...

"Oh! You must've fell in love at first sight then!" Kikyo said, over dramatically clutching her heart. I rolled my eyes at her actions, the only person who seemed to notice was Illumi's grandfather, who silently laughed at my actions.

Hmm, I could say 'No, I just used Illumi to get away from a clown.' Or just go with, 'Yeah.' Hmm, I'm to lazy to explain anyways, "Yeah." I replied, earning a squeal from Kikyo. The fat kid seemed to be annoyed at how much attention I was getting, but didn't want to get hit again so he didn't say anything.

After we finished breakfast I went outside, finding the child, whom I still don't know the gender of, there as well.
