"And you?" The chairman asked turning towards me.

"No thanks, I'm not interested in becoming a hunter." I reply

"Aww. Cmon Y/n, You should play!" Gon begs.

"It's fine, we don't need them to beat the old man's ass." Killua tells Gon, clearly wanting me to play. Most likely to see my abilities.

"See? You can do it yourself." I restate what Killua said.

"Pleaseeeeee." Gon begged, puppy eyes and all. Causing the chairman to chuckle. "Your friends seem to want you to play." The chairman mentioned.

"I'm afraid we already have plans~" Hisoka says, rounding the corner. I can't tell if I should be thankful, or scared.

"Why would Y/n have plans with you?" Killua said, with extra emphasis on the word 'you'. "Yeah! Y/n would much rather hang out with us!" Gon added.

"Ah~ is this true darling?~" Hisoka questions. Causing all attention to go to me. There's nothing I hate more than being the center of attention, and yet here I am all eyes on me. So what do I do now?

"Are you in the right head space to revive information that could possibly hurt you?" I answer, causing Killua to fall over laughing.

"See! They want to hang with us!" Killua said once he was done laughing. "No, I want to hang my self." I correct, causing all attention to go back to me.

"I said that out loud, didn't I?" I'm such an idiot.

"Yes, yes you did." The chairman answers.

"Don't hang yourself!" Gon shouts. Ah, very late reaction time you got there.

"Yeah, ima just..." I say while walking away, well attempting to anyways, I was quickly stopped by Hisoka.

"Aw~ that hurt my feelings darling~ you've known me longer after all~" Hisoka said, now behind me.

"Wait... darling? Are you guys really dating!? I heard the rumors, but I didn't think it was possible!" Killua exclaimed. I want to see what his reaction is...

"Hmm? Yeah we're dating, i thought it was kinda obvious." I reply, I need chaos.

"Huh!?" Both Killua and Gon yelled. "There's no way! Why would you date him!?" Killua shouted, Gon was to stunned to speak.

"This is quite amusing..." oh I forgot about the chairman.

"Now, if you excuse us we have plans~" Hisoka said before dragging me away, leaving a confused Gon and Killua behind.

"You're quite evil darling~" Hisoka said once we were out of earshot. "I did say that I wanted to convince as many people as possible that we're dating." There was no way I could miss an opportunity like that. "Anyways what are these plans of ours?" I question.

"You haven't texted in the groupchat for a day darling~ they'll get suspicious~ You do still want to mess with them, correct?~" Shit! I completely forgot about the groupchat!

"From the looks of it you seemed to have forgotten~" Hisoka added. "Yeah, yeah. Thanks for the reminder. Now stop dragging me." I can walk on my own thank you very much.

"Alright~ you still have to follow me~ or I'll drag you again~" Welp that isn't a good sign. "I still haven't gotten a response darling~"

"Alright. Where are we going anyways?" There's really no point in fighting back, plus that takes a lot of effort.

"You'll see~" He said before letting me go. Is there a reason for being so mysterious? I proceed to follow Hisoka down the hallway, until he stops in front of a door.

Hisoka opens the door, gesturing for me to enter. I'm really going to regret this aren't I? I walk into the room, hearing Hisoka shut the door behind me.

"Oh, you should've said you were bringing company." A man, whom I don't remember seeing before, said. "I would've put my disguise back on." He added.

"Ah~ Apologies Illumi~" Illumi, that seems familiar... Oh, as in Illumi Zoldyck? "Y/n, meet Illumi. Illumi, meet Y/n."

"Hello." Illumi said with an awkward wave. "Hullo. You're a Zoldyck, right?" I say, causing Illumi and Hisoka to stare at me.

"You figured that out quite quickly~" Hisoka was the first to speak. "They're not that famous~, I assumed you wouldn't find out until after the exam~" He added.

"Killua's a Zoldyck, so it kinda makes sense that he'd be here too." I replied. "Kil told you about us?" Illumi joined in on our conversation.

"He said he was from a family of assassins, and the Zoldycks are the only family of assassins I know of." I explained.

"That still doesn't explain how you knew Illumi was also a Zoldyck~" Hisoka adds. "Not many people know our names or faces. How do you?" Illumi questioned.

"My mother gave me descriptions, and  pictures, of you all a couple years ago." I swear this is an interrogation now.

"Ah~ And how'd she get their information?~" Hisoka asked. I probably should've kept my mouth shut about the Zoldyck thing.

"I don't know."  I just wanna text in the groupchat. "What's your last name?" Illumi asked.

"L/n~ as far as I am aware~" Hisoka answers for me. "Ah. That'd make sense, you're her child." He knows my mother? "Hm?~ I'm quite confused as to what's going on~ Please do tell~" That makes two of us.

"I would, but I also have no idea as to what's going on." I reply. "She hasn't told you then?" Illumi questions. Why's he saying 'She' like that?

"I starting to think I'm in some movie where I'm going to figure out my whole life is a lie or something." I tell Hisoka, who lets out a small chuckle.

"I'll take that as a yes. Would you like me to inform you?" Illumi asks. "Sure." My whole life being a lie would be a nice twist on things.

"Alright, but first I need to know, what did she tell you about your training. More specifically why you were training." Illumi questions.

"Something about becoming a stronger hunter than her." I answer.

"I thought so, she's an assassin, your training was to make you into an assassin stronger than her." Ooo I like this twist! Being an assassin is much cooler than being a hunter!

"If I may intervene~ why does she need Y/n to be a stronger assassin then her?~" Hisoka asks, adding himself back into the conversation.

"To kill the Zoldycks." Illumi answers, his emotionless expression never fading. I was not expecting that. "Why would she want to kill you?" I need answers.

"For killing, whom I assume is, your father." He responds.

"So my life was a lie! I knew it!" I'm so the main character of this movie, or book, whatever this is, I'm the main character!

"That's a better reaction than I was expecting." Illumi says, slightly tilting his head. "What reaction were you expecting then?" I question.

"You to attack me, attempt to at least. It's what your mother did." Illumi explained. "Why would I attack you? This has been the best day of my life." Finding out that my dad was murdered and didn't die in a car crash, and my mom being an assassin and raising me to be an assassin? Most interesting day of my life, therefore the best.

"Only you'd have this reaction to news like this~" Hisoka says.

"Nah, I'm pretty sure everyone reacts like this." I'm not that weird.

"I'll assume that you won't be attempting to kill us then?" Illumi adds. "Nope, if anything I'll start trying to marry Killua." Shit! I did not mean to say that last part out loud!

"That's... acceptable." Illumi responds.

"Wait, what?" I ask. Letting someone who you only know because their mother attempted to kill your family, marry your brother does not make sense.

"She almost killed my mother once, marrying you into the family would be more of a revenge than killing you. And you've already done training, witch makes you a perfect candidate for Kil."

"Hm~ I doubt Chrollo would allow that~" Oh, right Hisoka's still here. "Chrollo? As in.." Illumi said, stopping halfway through.

"As in?" I need answers. "That's unimportant darling~" Hisoka replied, now I'm just more curious!

"Oh right, did you have a point for bringing them in here?" Illumi said, changing the topic. "Ah~ I just wanted to introduce you two~" Hisoka replied.

"Cool, now that we're introduced, can I play on my phone?" I ask. I want to text people! "Sure~ As long as Illumi doesn't have anything else to say~" Hisoka responds, redirecting the conversation back to Illumi.

"Are you both dating?" Illumi questions. "Nah, I'm trying to make everyone think that though. So, It'd be preferred if you didn't tell everyone that we're not." I'm not even going to try to lie to him.

"Ah, Alright." Illumi responds. "Hm~ you didn't attempt to lie to him?~" Hisoka questions.

"Nope. He did tell me a lot of shit about my past after all." I respond. "Ah~ I was starting to worry that you were scared of him~" Hisoka said, with emphasis on 'scared'.

"Nah, he's way to pretty to be scared of." I say while grabbing my phone out of my pocket. "Alright~ have fun darling~" Hisoka said before leaving the room.

Fun Facts:

• Even if you're a male, you're still a good candidate for marrying Killua! Not only would they be getting revenge, you're about the same strength as Killua! Killua, as the heir, would need to find someone to have children with, but that person doesn't necessarily have to be his spouse. (This is just so in don't have people in the comments going 'But I'm a male! That doesn't make sense!' I'm not really planning on having you marry Killua, and if you do it will be completely platonic)

• One episode of Hunter x Hunter is about the same length as two chapters of my story! This however, does vary due to how cannon I make the chapter! For example, this chapter was a different length then it would've been if I actually showed the showdown on the airship.

• Y/n finds Illumi's actions hilarious! The awkward waving, the way he says things, just everything he does in general! (Also am I the only one who thinks Illumi would smell like black cherries? He has to take so many showers to get blood out of his hair, I assume he uses products that smell like black cherries-)

• Illumi was actually very curious as to what your relationship with Hisoka was. Though, being raised by Zoldycks, he didn't question it until he was allowed to.
