Todoroki woke up again at the middle of the night when his phone buzzed on his chest, it read

Todoroki wasn't really that hungry to be honest, he'd rather go back to sleep but his curiosity overwhelmed his urge to go back to sleep and he stood up, he noticed his change of clothes, he was wearing pajamas now, how nice

He opened the door to find Katsuki waiting outside for him, however something was slightly off about the blond, he seemed distant, Todoroki tapped his shoulder, the blond turned at him incredible speed he almost was scared, almost

"You got a text too?" He nodded

"I wonder what he made to warranty us waking up in the middle of the night" Todoroki asked, Katsuki shrugged and went to go to the kitchen, Todoroki following behind him

"Hey Katsuki?"

"... There's a book on the ground, it doesn't look familiar"

"So?"

"Go pick it up"

"Why?! You're the one who saw it dipshit!"

"Is the middle of the night, we were forced awake and now we're going down to eat whatever Izuku's made and no offense, while Izuku is really cute and adorable he just has that weird vibe to it, go pick the book up it might be something scary"

Katsuki sighed and picked up the book, he opened his phone and flashed a light to it, the cover was of pastel drawn rabbits, Katsuki noticed that the cover was loosely scotched tape, all of the sudden the window nearby broke and a large gust of wind flew, almost pushing both males behind, the cover flew, Katsuki gained balanced and checked the book again, on the cover it red

It was a plain notebook, Katsuki always sees Izuku writing on a notebook like this one, however those notebooks are different, they have wonderfully cute dorky titles and cute drawings, this is creepily plain

"Should we go look at what's inside?" Todoroki asked

"... Just this once" they flipped to a random page

"What the heck is this?!"

"Heck if I know" Todoroki said, poking the page, it smelled weird, he ran his finger on the letters and pulled back, he'd rather not know what was used as ink, probably ketchup, disgusting ketchup, hopefully, blegh

"Let's keep it and ask Izuku about it next time" Katsuki grunted and nodded, they continued down the hallway, Todoroki noticed how Katsuki was closer than before, he wondered if he was able to decipher it, Izuku said he was a genius after all, or altleast he thinks Izuku said it, he doesn't remember very well

Finally they made it to the kitchen, it was filled with a weird meaty smell

"Oh I know this smell, I'm not sure if you can eat it, your teeth looks a little round..." Todoroki raised a brow, what?

Izuku came out holding a plate of what seemed to be.. red mushy meat.. it looks raw, what?

"It looks raw but it isn't, frying it brown makes it smell disgusting, like burning flesh, trust me it's better to eat it like this" Katsuki nudged, Izuku set down two plates at the counter and placed the plate of flesh nearby, Katsuki made the first move, grabbing a fork and knife and cutting a small piece before placing it to a plate and handing it to Todoroki

"Here, you're not used to this kind of stuff yet so you get baby bites" Todoroki stared at it as Katsuki started cutting up a larger piece for himself, Todoroki stabbed it with a fork before placing it into his mouth and chewing it

The texture is a little weird, and it seems a little too juicy, the taste was also weird, it didn't taste like anything he has ever eaten before

He also can't seem to cut it up with his teeth, he chewed and chewed and chewed, the little piece of meat won't break and the taste got weirder and weirder and weirder, finally Katsuki handed him some tissue before smirking

"Sharpen up your teeth a little first, then you might be able to eat if for what it is" Todoroki gently spat out the piece of meat, it was greyish blue now, it made him feel uneasy

"Excuse me Katsuki... what exactly is this?" He said pointing at the offending piece of meat, Katsuki shrugged

"Hell if I know, all I know is that Izuku randomly makes them and eats it with me and that it's delicious"

"It was... weird" Katsuki laughed

"It's supposed to be don't worry, if it makes you feel better the first time I ate one of these I vomited"

"I don't think this is edible meat"

"Nah your teeth is just round"

"Kacchan don't make your food wait!" Katsuki glanced at him before returning back to Izuku, they were eating it as if it was nothing, Todoroki observed them, before going in and cutting a small piece of meat from Katsuki plate

The blond just stared at him quizzically

"You don't have to eat it if you can't" Todoroki looked at him in the eye before placing the piece of meat in his mouth and chewing it again, and then he chewed and chewed again like it's bubble gum, and finally he gulped

He gripped the counter shakily, something about it makes him feel a little weak

"You okay dude? I told you you don't have to eat it while you can"

"Yeah! Here sit down Shoucchan!" Izuku pulled out a stool from under the counter and effortlessly lifted Todoroki unto it, Todoroki groaned and planted his face on the counter

"That happens when you eat something you can't! Jeeze Shoucchan... don't worry though you'll get used to it and then you can eat meals with us!"

"Uh... yeah no thanks" Todoroki said groggily, yet he took another small piece of meat and chewed on it again

"I thought it tasted weird dipshit?"

"It's weird but it's addicting" Shoto replied

"It is ain't it?" Katsuki said before stuffing a huge piece in his mouth

"Why are you not sick from this?"

"I got used to it, plus my teeth is sharp unlike your baby round teeth"

"It's not my fault that your mother is probably a wolf"
