Boom Shadow:

     Just where I was? My head was spinning and it felt like I had made a mistake. Not a big one though but just one of those that are really annoying and you can't just stop thinking about it. However, just what was that mistake? It seems like I don't remember quite well. I remember something else tho... Amy. At least the moments we share one year ago and even that kiss in a lonely wooden house while the young ones were having a great time with their opposites. How unusual... For a moment I felt so lonely and angry. Mostly because Amy wasn't mine to take and the other at myself because I was selfish... I am wanted her with me without thinking that I had already taken too much from that hedgehog. Sonic who had nothing but pure feelings for Amy. Him who had never hurt her. The truth was that he deserved to have her, not me but him.

"Shadow?"

And there she was with all her glory. I could tell by her face that she was worried about me like she always does.

"I am fine...don't put that face"

"Well now I am going to change to an angry one cause did you just insult me?

"No, I take that back"

Now we had a moment. My stupid feelings still taking control over me as they were telling me to go ahead and tell her that I remember everything.

I wanted to but I couldn't bring myself to do so.

"You fell out of the dimension portal and hit you pretty hard. Are you sure you are ok?"

"Yeah, nothing to worry about...where's Sonic ?"

"He is fine, he out there with the resistance trying to figure out a plan to get Tails back"

Everything began to confuse me. What had happened while I was asleep? Amy seems to have read my expression as she continued the talk.

"We three fell into different areas of this world. You fell into a nearby village, I was close to the HQ and Tails fell into Angel Island. He was captured by the Metal Sonic of this dimension."

"We can't really have a peaceful moment"

"Seems that way"

A quiet moment grew between us as if the both of us wanted to say something but couldn't. I was still in the bed while she was standing in next to the door preparing to leave.

"I'll take my leave then, I'll be in the HQ room, just go straight to this hall and take a left. Take your time"

And with that, she left again. I took a sigh and quickly rested my head against the pillow again. Something felt off. As if something was missing from all of me, it was a weird uncomfortable feeling. But there was nothing I could do about it.

I didn't take too long to get ready, I took a quick shower, put on my hoover shoes and directed myself to go to the so-called 'HQ room'

I have to admit, I was impressed by the sight when I entered. The HQ room possesses a different kind of technology different from our dimension. Even The Eggman from our world will be impressed.

    Then I saw the blue bur. He was looking straight into the computer, next to a small Amy with a dress. He took a moment to look at me and he just smirked, he and I perfectly knew that a warm reunion wasn't in our taste and even after a year, I could only give him a small smirk back.  My Amy was next to him and smile at our little interaction. Lastly, other Tails showed up, he didn't look like my world's Tails I am guessing our Tails is somewhere here.

"Where are Tails?", I broke the silence as I approached Amy and the rest behind the computer. It seemed like the small Amy noticed that we were too tight in that computer of hers because as soon as this world's Tails approached, she made the image larger in the main big screen of the HQ.

"With Neon Metal Sonic", the small Amy then took a quick look at me, and I could see her face grow red. Maybe she was getting a fever.

"Oh, I saw that Modern Amy", Tails had a teasing face, while the Amy with a red dress hides her face in her computer.

"Modern Amy? Why is that?", I ask Tails while 'Modern Amy' blushed even more as I mentioned her name.

"Well, you see, due that you come from-"

"You, our Sonic, Tails and I are "Boom", I am 'Boom Amy' and everyone else in this world is 'Modern', so she's 'Modern Amy'...just so we don't get confused with everyone', Amy was clear and interrupted Modern Tails in his long explanation and I didn't say anything more than 'got it' to her.

"Nice to meet you Modern Amy"- I smiled to her, she was small and cute and just seeing someone like my Amy makes my day better. However, she didn't seem to enjoy my greeting as her face got more red by the second.

"I am going to tell Modern Shadow", Modern Tails teased her again.

"What? No, don't tell him"

"Tell me what?"

    I turned around and found the 'Modern' version of myself, shorter, his quills very well taken care and of course no sports tape. He didn't even look at me he went straight to Modern Amy, looking for answers.

"whether you tell me or not, I will still find out"

"It's nothing! It's just that...", Modern Amy took a moment to quickly look at me and she continued, "He is so tall and I find that physique, very...attractive"

"I see...", Modern Shadow didn't say anything more. He just went straight at the back of the room and stood there, now watching me closely.

"Can we focus on getting our Tails back now?", Boom Sonic looked annoyed, however, I understand his reasons. Your best friend getting kidnapped after not seeing him for a year must be hard to bear.

"We have already established a plan, but since Boom Shadow is here, I'll explain into detail now", Modern Tails then looked at Modern Amy and she instantly turn off the lights of the room so everyone could focus on the main screen in front of us.

"Just like Neon Metal Sonic told us in his global video, he has taken control of all of Eggman's Robot Army, not only that but Master Emerald and Angel Island is under his control. Although we possess all 7 Chaos Emeralds, that we ill futile since the Master Emeralds can neutralize them. So instead, we are going to be recruiting some friends around the world..."

    Then, the screen showed some pictures. One was of a purple cat, the other one of a silver hedgehog, a crocodile, a bee boy, a chameleon, a lemur and some more but the one that caught my attention was a red echidna that looks like my world's Knuckles.

"We don't have enough options, so our best shot is to infiltrate the base without getting notice, retrieve Master Emerald and take back Angel Island"

"Easier said than done", Boom Sonic looked worried but took a deep sigh as his adventurer spirit came out of him.

"Anyways, where is Modern Sonic?"

"Oh right, he went around hiding the Chaos Emeralds. You see, having all 7 Chaos Emeralds together create a great energy that could be detected anywhere in the Universe. We could be in danger of Neo Metal Sonic coming for us, so it's better to disperse them, he should be done hiding them in a day or so."

"Sounds good, then, for now, we should focus on getting your friends with us"

"We will depart as soon as Sonic gets back, so get ready"

    With that, Modern Tails ended his speech and the lights turned on again.

"Boom Sonic, would you come with me to my workshop? I need you to try something out"

"For sure", Boom Sonic then looked at Amy and I and smiled as he said "I'll be back soon, you two should get ready" he then parted ways and followed Tails out of the room.

"I need to go to the village and buy some supplies for the trip", Modern Amy seemed in a hurry to leave the room by my Amy stopped her.

"Oh, do you need help in that? Maybe Boom Shadow can help you with that...he is very strong after all", I gave Boom Amy a disapproving look, it's not like I didn't want to help Modern Amy. However, there still was a lot of questions and I wanted answers. Not only that but I also wanted to keep talking to my Amy about my recent memory.

     Boom Amy was quick to approach me and whisper to me "Modern Amy and Sonic have problems, try to see what's going on"

"I will keep you company Miss Rose", I got closer to Modern Amy and saw her blushing face again.  She wanted to pretend like she wasn't doing so, which made her even cuter.

"It's alright, she doesn't need you. I'll go with her.", Then my counterpart stepped out of the shadows. He got closer to the three of us and he took Modern Amy by her arm.

"Actually, Modern Shadow, I really, really need your help with something important.", Boom Amy wasn't changing her mind. Knowing myself, I could say 'no' to Amy, to any Amy. I saw Modern Shadow being dragged by my Amy, and of course, I wasn't jealous or anything. However, I really wonder if this world's Shadow's felt the same for his Amy as I feel for my Amy.

"Let's get going"
