The final bell of the day rang, and I am so glad. Today started off like a pretty good day but I can't get Roman out of my head. I know I should follow Renee and not think about it but it's hard not to think that I play a part in him acting like that.

Maybe I'm taking things too fast? Or maybe I'm taking this too seriously while he's not? Or maybe- "Nicole!" I turned my head to see Renee standing by the wall. "Hey, I was looking for you." She chuckled "Really? You walked right past me. You feeling okay?"

I nodded "Yeah, it's just-" "Professor Reigns?" I looked at her knowing I was being silly. "Yeah, I know I shouldn't think about earlier today but it's hard not to." "Well, if it bothers you that much then you should talk to him about it." Confrontation? Hell no. "Renee, you know I can't. I'm just gonna say that maybe he's just busy or-"

"Or right in front of us?" I snapped my head and saw him standing against the wall, talking to the security, Ambrose. "Talk to him." "Here? I can't." "Then at least go say hi." "No-"

She was already their side. "Hey Ambrose. Professor Reigns, howdy?" Oh god! I rushed over to her, seeing his face loosen up. Okay, that's a good sign. "Say hi Nikki." "Hey." "What are you two still doing here? Everyone is out of school already."

Renee chuckled and pointed a thumb at me, "Nicole was wandering around." I felt his eyes on me, I looked up at him, seeing a slight smile on his face. "Well, we should get going. See you tomorrow."

Both Professor Reigns and Ambrose said bye as we walked off. "Feeling more comfortable?" "Not really."
