After I settled into the dorm with Renee, everything started to feel almost normal. "Hey, how about I show you around? I am the expert in this school." I nodded "Sure.. I might need it, in case I get lost." We walked out the door. "Do you get lost often?" I chuckled "More than you know."

We took the elevator down and walked out of the body, a cool breeze hitting. Not too cold, warm to be more exact. "Okay, this building right here is the closest to the dorms because it's where all the classrooms are. Easy for students and professors to find." 

"How many classes do we each have? Usually you only have about 5 or 6 but that depends n how much of a book nerd you are." I nodded, taking in all her information as we walked towards another building. "This is the library, it's where you go for some quiet time. Next that is the cafe, which is where we're heading."  

"So where do you guys do all this partying you were talking about?" She chuckled "We do those in an abandoned building in the back of the school. Everyone, including school staff know what we use it for." I asked my simple questions as we walked, getting an answer for every single one with no problem. 

We were about to head into the cafe but this security guard stood by Renee. My heart, of course, started racing but Renee was calm and just chuckled. "Officer Ambrose." The guard, who I now know is Officer Ambrose, stepped in front of us. "I'll get that for you girls." I walked in, hearing Renee thanking him. "You'll call me later?" "You know I always do." 

Officer Ambrose went on his way as we walked forward. I stepped closer to Renee. "So do you know the guard?" She chuckled and nodded "Oh yeah. Dean and I go way back.. Don't worry, he's only 25.. He's just really not into the college life." I nodded.

"Hey Renee!" I looked up and saw a guy calling Renee over. "Let's go introduce you to the group." I felt my palms get sweaty as we got closer. "Hey guys! This is Nikki, she just got here from.. Where are you from?" "Scottsdale.. Arizona."

"Arizona, nice.. I'm Seth." I smiled and waved at him. "This is Sasha, Paige, Nia, Dolph and Finn are in the bathroom.." They all waved at me, nice and not all rude. Nia leaned forward "So how has your first day been so far?" I smiled "The word I would use to describe it would be interesting." Seth chuckled "Wait until you actually have a class." I chuckled out of nervousness. Tomorrow might not be as easy as today was.
