I grabbed the handle of my suitcase, my fingers, hurting because I'm gripping it so tightly. I stood in front of this epic building. A building that I will spend four years of my precious life at. Hopefully living life to the fullest while deciding what I want to do for the rest of my life.

I take a deep breath before stepping closer to the building, ultimately opening the door and walking in. The feeling was new and terrifying, mostly terrifying. "Hello?" My head snapped forward as I looked at a young looking woman sitting at a desk. "You need help finding something, hun?" 

I walked up to the desk and smiled "Um yeah, I'm new here and I have absolutely no idea where to go." She smiled back at me. "I can help you out. What's your name?" "Nicole Colace." I crossed my fingers as she typed something in her computer before looking back up at me. 

"Here we go. Your dorm is 201 and I will print out your schedule I'll get you all set up." I nodded and said thank you before observing everything around me. It's quiet, clean, almost homey. Maybe my mom was right, I could get used to this. "Nicole."

I turned back at the lady, a paper in her hand. "This is schedule.. Your guide on the classes you have through the day. If you ever need help ask your dorm mate or you can come to me. My name is Ivory." "Thank you." I grabbed my suitcase and was ready to go set up at my dorm. 

Then it hit me.. I don't know how to get to my dorm. I walked back to Ivory. "Sorry to be a bother but how exactly-" "The elevator is to your left." I smiled "Thanks." I turned to my left and surely saw an elevator. I pressed the button and hit the button with a '2' on it. Life is changing for me at this very second. 

I didn't realize the elevator stopped until I heard someone clear their throat. "Getting off?" I looked and nodded, embarrassed. I stepped out and roamed the hallway in search of my room. 201.. 201.. 

"Hey!" I jumped as I turned around and saw a sweet faced blonde staring at me, confused. "You lost?" I nodded and chuckled. "Um, yeah I might be. Do you have any idea where dorm 201 is?" She chuckled "I do because it's my dorm.. Which makes you my dorm mate.. I'm Renee Paquette, the bubbly Canadian expert that's friends with everyone."

I smiled at her "I'm Nicole Colace, my friends call me Nikki." "Well Nikki, welcome to our university where we will spend four years of our lives drunk off our asses. Now let's go get you set in our dorm." 

I chuckled as she grabbed my hand and basically dragged me down the hallway. I can say I'm off to a pretty good start.
