Lapi5_Lazuli

*Comes running in* Made it! Sorry it's last minute....stupid school but i made it!

Contest entry inspire by (One of my favorite RevDipcifica Fanfics ever!): Outlaw by: Kaori-_-Miyazono

To explain real quick....The contest was write something that was inspire by another wattpad story. So i chose this one. This came from the story Outlaw. Nothing is mine. I just wrote something.

Dipper POV

I was in my room, playing the piano. Playing a wonderful piece of music on the piano that I actually wrote. I was actually trying to fix it a bit. There were some parts that needed to be fixed. After playing a bit I stopped to fix it in the paper version of it. In fact I was almost done. Going back to fix the last cord, I could never get it right.

I muttered in frustration. I've been working on this piece for a while and I still couldn't get the bloody end right. The end means everything. A good end, a good song.

"Whatcha doing?"

"Ah!" I jumped as the person grabbed my shoulders as they snuck up on me.

"Sweetheart! How did you get in here!?" I jumped up from the piano bench. She smiled and chuckled, "You really got that scared? Oh you didn't want me to figure out your secret." She gave a smug look.

"uhhhh, what secret?" I tried to push the topic away and close the lid of the piano.

She smiled as she fold her arms in front of her, "Oh don't worry it pretty boy, you're secret is safe with me."

I hummed as she walks closer to me, "You know Dipper, you actually play pretty well."

"I'm not that good."

"Oh don't say that. You are really good."

She then headed to the piano. "How did you even get in here?"

"Your sister."

"Blasted Mabel." I muttered.

She couldn't even help but chuckled as she picked up the music. "Don't!" I tried reaching it for it but she jerk away the music away from me, "Sweetheart, stop being stubborn and give it back!" She looked at the music, "I don't recognize this song. Did you make it yourself?"

"Give it back!" I tried reaching it from her grasp but she managed to keep it away from me. I chased after her but somehow she was faster than me. I chased her around the piano. She made sure she was on the opposite side of the piano from me. "Why do you want it back so badly? By just looking at it, it's seems pretty cool Dipper."

"It's....It's not finish yet. Now give it back!" I snapped.

"You should play it."

"N-not right now! It's not finish! I told you."

"I don't care. I still want to hear it."

"You can hear it when I'm finish."

"That would be never because you are too afraid!"

"I. am. Not. Afraid!"

I started to chase her again and this time I manage to catch up to her. Wrapping my arms around her waist I lifted her up in the air a bit to stop her from running away from me. She squirms in my grasp, "Ah! Dipper!"

"Give me back the music!" I demanded.

"I'll give you the music back if you play it for me."

"Give me the music!"

"Are you going to play?"

"Nope!"

I snatch the music from her grasp, "haha!" I laugh with victory. "Not fair! Give that back!"

"Nice try sweetheart but not going to happen."

She gave a mischievous smile, "Oh yeah?"

I smirk, "Yep. You can't make me. Nothing will make me."

"I accept that challenge!" Then she jerk from my grasp and faced me and she did something that I would never expect to happen. She started to tickle me. "Ah! What are you doing! Stop it!" I laughed. I tried getting her away from me but she still came at me, "Play the song or I won't stop!"

"You can't make me hahahah do anything! Hahaha stop!"

"You know, I actually think I've never heard you laugh before, at least not this hard. Got to actually thank your sister about that."

I'm going to kill Mabel!

"Stop it! hahahah! Sweetheart! Stop!"

"Are you going to play now?"

"Never!"

"Alright."

She continue doing what she was doing in tickling me. "Stop! Stop it!" I shove her away from me. It was hard getting her off me, I don't know why. She really wants me to play. She sighs, "Stupid arrogant Dipper flipping Gleeful."

I straighten my clothes, "Stupid stubborn Pacifica flipping Southeast."

She sigh, "Dipper please. I want to hear this from you."

"It's not done."

"I don't care."

"It's not perfect."

"I'm not perfect."

"To me you are."

"Cute Dipper but not cutting it." She stretch out her hand with the music, "Play or I'll play it."

"You can play piano." I folded my arms.

She shrugged, "Only a bit but I'll slowly get this."

I smirked, "Go ahead and try sweetheart."

She headed to the piano and opened up the covering to review the keys. She place the music where the music would go and looked at the music and the keys over and over. I smirked. I knew she couldn't play the piano.

She placed her hands on the keys to find the right notes. Actually she hit the first three notes right then she got really off key after that. I shook my head, "Oh sweetheart."

"What? You think you can do better?"

"I wrote it didn't I?"

She slide to the other side of the bench, to make room for me. "Come on then." She patted at the seat next to her. I only folded my arms, "I don't want to."

She tilted her head, "Please Dipper." She batted her pretty eyes at me. At first I still didn't move or say anything so she pulled out her bottom lip to make a sad face. I rolled my eyes in disgust, "Argh, fine!"

She instantly got to her cheery mood, "Yay!" I reluctantly sat on the bench next to her and fixed the paper, "You crushed it up dork."

She chuckled and shrugged, "You were being stubborn, heh, and you said I'm the stubborn one."

"Yeah, yeah." I took a deep breath, "Okay, just please don't make fun of it."

"I won't."

I hummed, not sure if I should believe her or not. Couldn't think about it, so I push it away and I place my hands on the keys. I had this song memorize, but the parts I just recently chance I didn't have it memorize. Starting the song, I went to my own place where I pretend that nobody was here. That is why I play the piano. To not thing of anything, to be alone. Apparently I want that a lot or I wouldn't be so good on the piano.

Starting to play the song I was making. It was a peaceful song with pretty chords that flow together with some interesting rhythms. Looking at the corner of my eyes, I could see my love smiling softly as I played.

She did that the whole time I was playing. Then it hit the worse part of the song. The bloody end I still need to fix. "I still need to fix the ending." I muttered.

She smiled, "It's beautiful, Dipper. I can help you fix the ending." She then placed her hands on the keys, "You have this flow and I think you should keep it going but to make it more of a dramatic ending, add sharps." She started to play.... And when she played it was good playing.

"You're a lair you cheat! You played me!" I snapped.

She gave a smug look, "Of course! I needed a way to get you to play!"

I scowled at her. She elbowed my ribs, "Now pay attention." She replayed what she played. I thought about it. It was very pretty but it wasn't quite right, "Nah, not there."

"Okay, then we can try to hit high with the sharps..." She trailed off and she played some more but different chords and rhythmus that was higher and shaper.

"Sounds like a dying cat!"

"I thought that was pretty!" She scowled at me.

"Then you must be deaf!"

Rolling her eyes she went lower in the scale, "Then I guess we try low and flat." She played a different chord and rhythm than the rest of them. "I like the tone but it feels to fast. The ending needs to be....soft and gentle to end it all. If you were listening the song is..."

"Soft in the beginning then it gets quicker but yet gentle. Then you would want to end it with a soft and quiet end. I get it Dipper, I heard. I enjoy music too. Something that could help with this is do a quick sixteenth note going down, high to low, and then play the low and flats to smooth things out."

I thought about it, "I guess that could work...but..." I started to play what she played but changed it a little.

"Cool....but I think this could work."

She then played.

"Closer." I muttered. Then I started to play at the same time she was playing. She giggled as it sounded funny how two people were playing completely different things for the same song. It sounded so pitchy and like a child was playing but it was fun. It was fun doing this with her and watching her smile and laugh.

As I reach down a little to play the last cord of my idea of the ending, she reached up to play hers and out hands met at the same cord. She started to bush as she pulled her hand away, "I guess we got one cord in mind."

"yeah."

I faced back to the piano, "I liked how you did the scale down then hit high last." I then started to play and added that in.

"I think the scale needs to start a bit lower, not too low or it would be just weird going super low than high."

"True."

I did what she offered and it was getting there. The song was slowly coming together. "It's still missing something." I muttered as I looked at the piano for answers.

"What is missing?"

"I don't know. There is just something missing. It doesn't feel complete."

"Maybe at a little chime at the end. Those are always cute."

I thought about it and tried to play it. Still doesn't sound right, "No, not that."

"hmmm, well let's try this. Have the scale loud at first but it gets super quiet in the end to have that ring to it. Press the peddle more for the last note to make it ring on."

I tried that. It was so close and this time I actually knew what else I could do, "And slow it down..." I trailed off as I played it again but as I made it to the end I slowed it down so the ring wasn't so sudden. It would just smooth its way to there.

"Beautiful."

I gave a small smile, "Couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks Sweetheart" I kiss the side of her cheek. She smiled with the blush glowing redder by the minute as she looked down, "Of course."

"Now let's see it all together." I announced. Then I started from the beginning of the song. Having all the parts really helped pulled the song together. Everything ran so smoothly and it was such a beautiful piece. I then finish the song, "Perfect."

My love smile, "Glad that it all worked out."

I smiled a bit. By doing that she poked my cheek, "Ah! There's that smile. You need to smile more. Even if it's a small one like that, you just need to smile more. I like it. It's a nice smile."

I hummed and end up shrugging, "I just don't smile that much. Only when something is worth smiling for." I reached up and brush back her pretty and soft blond hair behind her ear and travel my hand to her chin. Getting lost in her perfect and glowing eyes, I lean in and kissed her.

It was soft and gentle. The way I liked it.

Suddenly the door just opened, "Argh, get a room you two."

I pulled back from the kiss and glared at my annoying sister, "Don't you people knock?"

"Not for you." Mabel replied with a small smirk as she fold her arms, "Are you done with whatever so you can help me set up for the banquet?"

"Just in a minute."

"alright. 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi..."

"Alone!" I snapped. She shrugged, "Alright. 4 Mississippi, 5 Mississippi..." Her voice trailed off. I rolled my eyes, "Pest."

"So what is this banquet for?" My love questioned.

"Just this stupid thing. You know rich family, rich parties. It wasn't my idea. I'm not a big fan of parties."

"So Mabel's idea?"

"I don't even know. Just...poof! Party now get dress and put on a pretty face for everyone. No questions."

"It can't be that bad."

"Of course, with you as my date." I wrap my arm around her waist.

"I don't know Dipper. It's kinda last minute and I don't think Mabel would-"

"I don't care what she says or thinks. I love you, and nothing can change that."

She smiled, "I love you too."

"What did I tell you about that?"

She rolled her eyes, "Picky on your words Gleeful. I love you." She pecked my lips. Then she got up and head to the door. "Where are you going?" I asked.

"Got to get dress don't I?"

"Right now?" I whined.

"Huh uh, you did invited me last minute."

"Oh fine then."

"100 Mississippi! Brother dear!" Mabel just shouted.

"I'm coming! Don't get your headband in a twist!" I snapped back.

"See you later, Dipper." My dear waved to me to leave.

"Dipsh*t!"

"I'm coming!" I shouted. I growled as I got up and close the cover to the piano keys as I headed to where Mabel was.

Pacifica POV

"I have nothing to wear!" I plop down on my bed. Gideon there sitting in a chair to help me, "I don't think the blue dress was that bad..."

"I wore that before! I want something that would work for this." I raised up to sit on my bed, "I don't know what to do Gideon."

"First off, why would you think this would go anywhere?"

"Huh?"

"I mean, you are leaving in a few days or so! Long distance relationship is hard Paz. I don't think it would work."

I sigh, "I know but...it's complicated."

"Oh alright. Whatever rattles in your head Paz. Just make sure you are free for my party I'm throwing you!"

"Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"Wouldn't miss it for Gleeful?"

"I will invite him so he can't plan nothing. You know how last minute he is with all of these surprise dates and meetings."

"Oh okay. Sounds like a plan."

"Groovy."

"Well that's a new saying."

I shrugged, "why not. Now for the dress." I looked in my closet again, "Can you think I can rent a dress for the night?" Gideon laugh, "I don't think so Paz." I sigh, "Yeah, yeah, I figure."

"Why don't you just ask your boyfriend? He's rich and can whip out a dress."

"I don't want to ask him. I want to surprise him."

Gideon sighs and place his elbows on his knees and lean into his hands, "I don't understand girls. Things are too complicated for you. I wore that before, he doesn't like that, it doesn't go with the earrings that he likes, blah, blah blah!"

I chuckled, "Oh Gideon."

"Do you think your mom has something?"

"My gosh Paz! Just wearing the pink dress but adds the black shawl!"

I thought about it and hummed, "Nah, I don't feel it."

Gideon groan, "Argh! Why!?"

I chuckled again with Gideon's reaction. "Pacifica! There is a package for you at the front door!" Bud called out. "Okay! Thanks! Oh my way down!" I called back.

"Wonder what it could be? I didn't order anything."

Gideon looked up, "It's the boyfriend!"

"Stop it Gideon."

"How much do you want to bet uh? I bet 20 bucks."

"Deal!" I headed down the stairs and got the package. It was a skinny box that had my name on it but didn't say where it came from. I quickly head it upstairs. "Ooo! It is a dress! Open it up! Open it up!" Gideon jumped around.

"First off it isn't a dress!"

"How could you know? Huh?"

"How could you know?"

"I just do."

I rolled my eyes and I started to open the package. There was a wrap to cover what was inside but a note was the first thing I saw. I grabbed the note first and opened it.

"Figure you need a dress. It's not hard to tell. So here we go Sweetheart. So you tonight. –Your Sexy Magician P.S. I knew that was my name on your phone. ;) Nice name"

I rolled my eyes but couldn't hide my smile. "Oooo! I know that smile! It is from him! Unwrap the dress! Unwrap it now!"

"Okay! Okay, calm down!"

I then pull off the wrapping. "Holy..." I trailed off as I looked at the beautiful dress. Gideon's eyes widen, "Oh my gosh! He really does love you."

My cheeks warm but I couldn't stop my smile. I pulled the dress out of the box. It was beautiful. It was a sleeveless dress that was Lake foam color, one of my favorite color, with glitter and this beautiful glow to it. I held it against my body to see how it looks and looked in the mirror.

"Wow!" I gasp out.

"You look beautiful Paz." He smiles gently at me.

"I'm not even wearing it."

"Well still."

I smiled, "Thanks Gideon."

"No thank you."

"Huh?"

"For the 20 bucks." He stretch out his hand, "Now pay up Paz!" I rolled my eyes but couldn't stop with a smile, "Okay, okay. You win." I went over to my desk and pulled out 20 bucks for Gideon. He smiled, "Nice doing business with you Pazzy!"

"Pazzy?"

"Yep! Ooo! Look! Jewelry for you!" Gideon reached in the back and pulled out this very pretty diamond necklace. "Wow!" My jaw dropped. I held the necklace in my hand, "This is beautiful!"

"You are a lucky girl Paz." He smiled.

After a bit, and when it was actually close to go to the party, I got dress. The dress fit perfectly and it was beautiful. So silky and smooth and just perfect.

I headed to the party. People was already there and there were many people there, more dressed up then me. Everyone was looking at me as I entered. I wasn't sure why. It made me uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if it was my low class dress, I was too young to be here, or I was along.

"Where is he?" I muttered.

"Make a wish." A voice muttered in my ear. I quickly turn and smiled at Dipper. He was in a fancy black suit with a lake foam button up shirt under the black suit coat. I smiled, "Hey! Nice shirt."

"I made sure we matched." He smirked as he stretch out his arm for me. I gladly took it. "I hope you like the dress." He spoked as we walked a bit.

"Oh I love it! Thank you."

"Anything for you."

"But you didn't have too. I had a perfect dress for tonight. I was just being nice and wore this one."

"Oh? Then I'll gladly take it back."

"No! I....I like this one."

He smirked, "You had nothing else to wear, I know Sweetheart. It's a fancy party, and you didn't expect to go to any fancy parties so you really don't have anything else to wear."

I hummed, "Sometimes your smart mouth is annoying."

"I know."

I looked around in awe, it was very pretty and fancy. A lot fancier than the last party I went to in the Gleeful's home. Of course I was mainly there to stop a ghost but still.

Then an older couple came up to us, "Ah! Mr. Gleeful! How nice to run into you!" The lady replied. Dipper put on a smile for them, "It's nice to see you too Mrs. Frankfort."

"You've grown up so nicely and so handsome I must say. Very nice." She smiled. Then both her and her husband started to laugh in this haughty way. It was actually annoying. Dipper only nod his head and smiled, "Yes, yes, but of course the last time we meet I was only 6."

"Has it really been that long? Oh time flies by when you are spending money." Mrs. Frankfort replied.

Then she looked over to me, "Oh! And who are you?"

I opened my mouth but Dipper stopped me by speaking first, "My date, Miss Pacifica Southeast."

The Frankfort couple looked at me, like they were studying me. I smiled and nod my head, "It's nice to meet you."

They still just looked at me for a bit. Then they looked at Dipper, "Where did you ever pick up this girl?" Mrs. Frankfort asked.

"In the domestic firm?" Mr. Frankfort added.

Then they both laugh...again in the most snobbish laugh in the world.

I saw the look on Dipper's face. His eyes glared at the two and he frowned. I bet he would have strangled them or something. Then like he suddenly remember that he was at this fancy party and so he put on a fake laugh, "Oh how funny but no. I'm still surprise you still have that humor Frankforts."

"Are you serious? She's not a maid you have pity for?" Mr. Frankfort asked, looking uncomfortable.

"Hey! I'm not-" I started but Dipper elbowed me, "No, no. Nothing of a sort. Not a maid or another servant of the house. She is just my girlfriend that I took to this banquet."

"Oh?!" Both of their eyes widen. "Girlfriend?" They both looked at me, not really please. "I swear Mr. Gleeful that you, out of all the people, would have better taste."

"I mean, it's looks like she tried so hard to get pretty enough to get through the door!"

"I bet she isn't even rich."

"No plastic surgery or anything!"

"What a waste of your time!"

"I bet she stole that dress and jewelry!"

"What a mistake."

I lowered my head as they continue with their insults. Tears gather up in my eyes. I wanted to leave just I tried moving away but Dipper tighten his grip of my arm, that was warp around his, to keep me there.

"Now that is enough!" Dipper snapped.

The couple was startle by Dipper's sudden snapped.

"Mason Gleeful! How dare you raise your voice at me!" Mrs. Frankfort cried out.

"Thought you were taught better, boy. Where are you manners?" Mr. Frankfort added.

"Where are your manners huh?" Dipper growled. Then he wrapped his hand around my waist and brought me closer to him, "Pacifica is the greatest girl in this world. She is better than I ever needed. Sure she isn't rich like us, I don't care. She is rich with personality. That is all I really need. She is supportive, fun, silly, creative, sweet, beautiful, and amazing. She is everything I need to be happy. I love her and that is all it matters."

I looked at him and smile warmly at him.

"I'm very disappointed in you, Mason." Mrs. Frankfort shook her head.

"It's Dipper or Mr. Gleeful from you two. Nobody calls me Mason anymore." Dipper growled. Both Mrs. and Mr. Frankfort scoffed in such disgust. "And nobody...would insult Pacifica again." He glared darkly at the two. I swear I saw his eyes sparked blue a bit, a hint of his amulet glowing.

The two was completely startle how Dipper acted. "Why I have never..." Mrs. Frankfort started but Mr. Frankfort cleared his throat, "Come Martha, we mustn't waist our time with these mistakes. I can't believe you Gleeful. I thought you were better than the rest. I actually had high hopes for you. Well...not anymore."

"I really don't care. I'm force to be here to put on a perfect look and everything, but once someone insulted my love, the rules change a little." He gave a smirk, "Now why don't you just got insult someone else around here, before I saw all that I've been hiding." His eyes seemed to glow a bit. Startle by the whole thing the couple glared, rolled their eyes, and just stormed off in a stuck up way.

Dipper growled at them, "Nitwits."

I hugged Dipper, "Thanks."

He smiled back and hug me tighter, "I will always protect you. Like I will always love you. I won't let anyone insult you like that again. Over my dead body." Then he kissed the top of my head, "You are beautiful Sweetheart, especially in that dress. You don't need any plastic surgery, what most rich girls go through to be pretty, you are naturally beautiful. Don't listen to what anyone says here. They are just jealous that you are the girlfriend of the great Dipper Gleeful."

"You mean Mason Gleeful." I tease. Dipper growled, "Great."

I laughed, "I'm just kidding Dipper."

"You better be kidding."

"What is so wrong with Mason? It's not that bad name."

"I....I don't. Can we just drop it?"

"Okay." I shrugged, a bit sad because I would have love to hear why he doesn't want to be called Mason. It was a pretty name and I guess it suits him, but Dipper is better though.

We separated from our hug and I just scan the area, "You sure decorated pretty well Dipper."

"Thanks. Mabel was the one you ordered me around to do it. She is the party planner, I just have to show up." He grumbled the last part.

"Speaking of rich girls, did she ever have plastic surgery?"

Dipper laughed, "Oh no. She was one of the 'lucky girls'. Born perfectly beautiful, just how I was born perfectly handsome." He made a bold smile at the end. I rolled my eyes but smiled as I brush his silky hair, "I guess that's true."

"yeah and don't touch the master piece!" He gently pushes my hand away. I giggled. Then a song started to play. It was a pretty song that was like a fancy line dance song. Dipper bowed to me, "My lady."

I couldn't help but giggle a bit. It was funny seeing Dipper this fancy. I bet he really hated it. I then did a small crusty to him, "My lord." Then Dipper stood up straight and I took his arm as we headed on the dance floor. "Just a warning, I don't dance so well...well...not fancy dancing anyways. I'm more as the free dancer and just go weird with it." I informed.

Dipper chuckled, "That's fine. Just follow my lead." Dipper then wrapped his arm around my waist and grabbed my other hand and held it up. I place my hand on his shoulder. Then he started to lead in the fast song. Dipper knew this song, and the moves to do it. Finally I got it, after doing it a couple of times. You dance in a circle and you spin as a couple, then you stop and separated as you back from each other. After that you clapped three times and you join hands with the same gender as you and you dance in a circle. The male was spinning around in one direction and the females went the other way. After that you stop right in front of your partner and you go back to them and you did this small swing dance type of moves.

I believe I'm saying all of the moves wrong. There were specific things that Dipper told me what they were. "Right hand, Left back..." I just so confused. It got worse when he commented on, "Spin the Lady to the right then outstretch to heaven." I have no clue. So I was making my own things to it. Like the swing dance move that I totally think it was but it wasn't of course.

Then we did a bridge thing. Everyone would line up and did this small clapping thing as a couple would dance down the line. It was fun. Who knew that rich people knew how to have fun with dance. Then Dipper grabbed my hands and pulled me into his chest. He wrapped his arm around my waist and grabbed my hand again and lead me down the bridge. I couldn't help by smile the whole way. It was fun and I was with him.

After a few more couples went down the bridge, everyone grabbed hands and went in the circle, hands up in the air, and came back out and spin slowly as the song started to slow down. Then we all faced our partners and the guy spin the girl and together they did this little bow and curtsy to each other as the song ended.

Everyone clapped in a fancy manor.

I went up to Dipper, will gave a small jump towards him, all excited, "That was so fun!"

He gave a small smile, "I'm glad you had fun, even though it's a traditional dance. It's not a swing dance." He smirked at the end. I hit his arm, "I don't know the correct names for the moves! I don't go to these dances!"

He laughed, "You're so funny Sweetheart."

"oh yeah?"

"Yeah. You tried hitting me which by the way was extremely weak. Second just your reaction to everything is funny."

"My hit wasn't that weak." I growled.

"Compare to what? Who hit me before? Yeah that was weak."

I growled, "Flipping Gleeful." I then turn back but Dipper grabbed me again but I was refusing everything, "Let me go Gleeful."

"Ah come on, there is another dance I want to do with you." He cradles his head on my shoulder and neck.

"Say you're sorry."

"Sorry about what?"

"I'm not weak."

"You are my dainty flower, Sweetheart." Then he kissed my cheek.

I was confused, "Sometimes your sorrys are weird." Dipper took a step away from me with a smug look on his face as he grabbed my hands and pulled me more onto the dance floor. This time was a slow dance. Then he wrapped both of his hands around my waist and pulled me close to him. I wrap my arms around his neck as we started to dance.

"This isn't too bad is it?" Dipper asked.

"Not as bad as I thought in being a large room full of rich snobby people."

"True that. Look, I'm sorry how the Frankforts treated you."

"Dipper it's fine."

"No it's not. Nobody should ever treat you like that. I should have say something sooner before they started everything."

"Dipper, you were just trying to keep everything smooth. You are a host of this party."

"Well mainly Mabel...."

"Still. This is your house and so you were just trying to be a gentleman. I understand but you did step up when it did go too far and thank you for that." I reached up and kissed his cheek. He smiled softly, "Of course, I would never let anyone hurt you Sweetheart. I will always protect you, I will always love you. For as long as I live." Then he lean in and kissed me on the lips.
