A special Visit
philippaki asked to borrow the characters, i thought how she borrowed very cute. so this Gothy's side of the visit.
Alter had many strange things happen in his life, but.. this was the first time he was meeting another being from another multiverse... again. Alternate universes sure, but other multiverses?
He took almost everything with a grain of salt now a days, it made a lot of things less bitter if things went wrong. Goth had brightened his life, it helped him rebuild his life once they came to the surface.
Yet... Oneiro.. a strange monster.
Yet a lot less annoying from the bit of time he spoke over the phone.
What a strange request, a play date for there children.
He had to blinked when he spotted the tall monster, even taller then himself with large glorious gold wings. In his arms was a babybones maybe a year younger then Goth, and he had to stop himself from reacting when he got a look at the child's face.
Goth?
A tinier Goth with cute wings, he wanted to ask the child who there parents we're? To ask there past, for this might be his only chance to ask.
He didn't.
Different multiveres, who was ot say this tiny child had the same birth parents as his child.
The monster put the Goth down, turning to face him Goth clutching onto the mans trousers in anxiety.
"..Are you Oneiro?" he asked, even though he was totally sure he was.
"That's me. You must be Alter. Is Goth still okay for today? I don't see them anywhere~" the monster, a Dream type asked. The tiny Goth shifted when Alters gaze landed on him, wings twitching and nervous.
"Why hello there. I'm called Alter. What's your name?" Alter asked gently, he didn't want to scare off the poor thing.
"Karma.." they replied shyly.
"That's a lovely name. Would you like to meet my son? They look to be a bit older than you but I'm sure you will get along. They love meeting new people" Alter asked Karma with a smile, it was just a shame Gothy couldn't get near others often.
Karma looked at Oneiro looking a bit scared, likely unsure of meeting another child. Oneiro had mentioned, that the poor thing had social issues and didn't play with other children. Also, that he had death touch like his Goth. Oneiro squeezed Karma's hand gently, Karma quietly replied yes to his question.
"Dad! You are never here this early. Is something happening today?" Goth cried attaching himself to his adoptive father, purple eyes filled with concern. Karma jumped a bit, as Goth had appeared so quickly.
Goth spotted Karma and jumped in shock, their gloved hands tightening on Alter. Alter spoke spoke to Goth, he didn't want and jealousy or fear issues between the two because Karma could touch others.
"I'm Karma, Do you want to play?" Karma asked shyly, once there dad let there hand go.
"R-Really? Are you sure?" Goth stuttered, ready for this to be a cruel joke like some of the other children had done in the past. Karma nodded playing with there scarf a tiny frown on there face, and Goth began to get excited listing off all the things they could do at there house.
Alters smile grew, his little one was looking so happy so he was glad to agree.
"Why don't we head off to Goths home, then you can decide what to do. We are staying the whole day, little raven~" Oneiro suggested, to an overwhelmed looking Karma.
"..okay"
Alter held Goths hand as they walked home from school, pretending not to see Goths quick glances at Karma. So cute.
Yet from the small tremble of there hand in his own, he knew part of it was fear that if he looked away for two long Karma would vanish.
Goths eyes widened as Karma grabbed his own, stiffening unused ot touch other then Alters.
"Do you want me to let go-" Karma asked.
"NO!..sorry. I was just surprised is all. No one really does this" Goth protested, wanting to cry, he couldn't take more rejection.
"..but you were just touching your parent..?" Karma asked.
"My magic is dangerous and I can't really control it.." Goth admitted wanting to hide, he wanted to touch others. He blushed a bit as Karma swung there hands as they walked, feeling strange not to feel that awful draining he felt even through the gloves.
"Go put your stuff away Goth, then you can go and play outside" Alter spoke up as they reached their house. Goth brightened, bringing his new friend into the house. He hesitated to let go holding a bit tighter by accident, then let go.
He rushed into his room changing into play clothes, and making sure his school stuff was at hgis desk to do homework later.
"Have fun~" Karma's dad said once he returned, and they both went outside. He fidgeted nervously, how did.. one start a game?
In the end they played hide and seek, Karma counting first.
"I'll count first, Goth"
"Okay," he responded, and ran off and hid while Karma counted.
He shifted in his hiding place nervously, karma seemed nice and he wouldn't walk away like some of the other children did in fear of his magic.
Suddenly something was on his back, he froze. Not just from the pain from hsi spine from where his wings were forming, but from the weight of something on his back.
Oh no no no, what if he drained them and they died!
Yet... he heard a giggle?
"I found you!...Goth? Are you okay?" Karma asked with a chirp, they touched his skull and Goth stood up trying not to freak out tears slipping down his face,
"Oww. What was that for-?!..why are you crying? Did I hurt you? I'm sorry!" Karma said confused, he pulled Goth into a hug and made cooing noises and patted there skull. Goth couldn't help but cry heavier.
Stars.. this miracle.
"What wrong, little raven? I could sense your distress~" Karma's dad said showing up, golden eyes filled with concern.
"They are crying and I have no idea why!" Karma replied, giving a pleading look from where he and Goth continued to hug.
"...Little raven, he can't usually touch others~"
"What's that got to do with anything?" Karma replied confused.
Goth didn't pay any attention to the conversation at that point, he just wanted to continue to hug his friend.
------
"Karma! Don't scare me like that!" Goth cried as his friend tackled him, on a future visit. He hadn't even known Karma had arrived.
"Sorry! I was just so excited. Dad said he would take us" Karma vibrated.
"Really?! I need to get the glitter!" Goth cried happily. Karma giggled as Goth ran to their room, excitement almost radiating from them in waves.
"Don't forget the marker pens!" Karma called.
When he got back Karma's dad Oneiro was there, and grinning the two children went over there supplies making sure they had everything. There was so many feathers and glitter!
He wanted to cackle maniacally
"Let's go, Goth! We don't have much time" Karma chirped, once Oneiro opened a portal. He dragged Goth to the Creator's home, a smile growing at the beautiful blank canvas for their creative talents. This was going to be great!
------
Three hours later Karma was clinging to Goth, both laughing hysterically at watching the fruits of their endeavours, thanks to Oneiro leaving a small portal open for them.
Dream was really shining brightly, the glitter doing an excellent job on sticking to everything, especially with a bit of magical help thanks to Oneiro. Ink looked like a really ugly chicken and Goth laughed louder as the Creator suddenly tripped, falling into Dream, causing the Guardian to screech in rage.
Domino's, even if only two people.
There we're even more pranks they'd pulled on others.
"That was very impressive babybones but it is time for us to go, little crow~" Oneiro finally said.
"B-But why?" Karma frowned and looked at his dad with a pleading look.
"Goth still has school and other daily activities. Alter can only take them out of school for so long~" The tall monster explained.
Karma grumbled but was distracted when Goth barreled into him, causing him to lose his balance.
"..I'll miss you. Make sure to text!" Goth told him, sad to see him go but he did understand they couldn't stay.
Karma readily agreed, before reluctantly pushing Goth off of him so he could stand up. He stood next to his dad, sniffling at having to go.
"It was nice to see you, Karma!..even if your dad is weird" Goth chirped.
"Goth! Remember inside thoughts" Alter scolded, Goth blushed.
He could only wave as Karma vanished through a portal.
"They'll visit again, right dad?" Goth asked hopefully.
"They did promise," Alter responded, really hoping they kept that promise.
"Oh! Maybe I can find a way to visit him!" he cried rushing to his room plotting.
"No opening multiverse jumping portals!" Alter protested.
