i. This book is an AU, meaning certain plot points divert from the canon. While most things will line up with the original story, there are certain events that will be much different or occur in a different order from the original timeline.

Now that all that is out of the way, welcome back  (I say that to you as well as to myself)

This story was originally written in 2021 and I published about 20 chapters before real life took some twists and turns and I stepped back from writing all together. I truly never intended on abandoning this story but after two years, it became harder and harder to jump back in and continue where I left off. But this also came as a blessing, I think, because upon reflection I realized there were things in this story that I would do much differently now... so I am!
