Hamish watched as Mazikeen slipped out the door and was gone. He didn't dwell on the unsettling feeling in his stomach for too long; it was bound to happen whenever Mazikeen wasn't by his side.

Looking at Jay, Hamish said, "How long do we got before they get here?"

Jay shrugged his shoulders, looking out the open door. He typed into his phone and handed it to Hamish.

Maybe minutes?

Hamish then passed it to Lilith just as it buzzed with an incoming text. Lilith tapped the screen and snarled, her eyes flashing as she looked up at Hamish, then her ignited gaze settled on Jay.

"You fucking dick-leak," She snarled, lunging at Jay. Hamish grabbed her shirt and yanked her back. She was moments away from ripping his throat out. "Woah, Lilith, what's the matter?" Hamish asked as Lilith looked at her friend.

"He's the matter," she said, voice dripping with venom as she handed me back the phone. What was on it was messages between Trevor and jay.

—5:06 PM—

Trevor:

I want you to tell them that you have to gather supplies.

Me:

Okay. What do I need to get?

Trevor:

Just get some shit. While you do that I'll go and snoop around a little.
I'm gonna give you a call and you pretend that you need to go
somewhere important.

Me:

Yessir.

—7:36 PM —

Trevor:

Go over with the Werewolf Executioners and make sure they don't bother me.

Me:

Okay.

Trevor:

Try to sell that you are on their side. They seem to trust you already, so don't blow it.

Me:

Yessir.

Hamish's knuckles turned white when he read the next, and newest message.

—7:52 PM —

Trevor:

Mazikeen is here. Kill them and bring the Hide boxes. I'll deal with this slut.

Hamish felt his teeth turn into long, wolf-like fangs as he slowly looked from the phone and at Jay. "You traitor," He said in a threating yet calm voice. "We trusted you, and you stab us in the back?" Hamish crushed the phone in his hand, whether on accident or not is a mystery.

He heard noises outside, and knew exactly who it was. The assassins that Trevor had brought in. Turning his aggression away from Jay, Hamish said to Lilith, "First, deal with those assassins." Hamish ordered, his tone was clipped and as icy as his glare.

She gave a nod, her eyes glowing with delight at the sound of killing people. "Glad to kill some assholes," She snarled as she shifted mid-strid out the door and following Hamish's order. Hamish turned his attention to Jay and gave a scoff, tossing the broken phone at him. He grabbed Jay by the shirt and tossed him in the basement where the Reliquary is and locked the door.

He'll deal with the traitor after dealing with the assassins.

Taking off his vest and most of his clothing, Hamish bounded down the steps and shifted. Tundra's senses took over and suddenly everything was so much clearer; smell, hearing, all of it.

Tundra stood there and howled, something saying 'finally!' before he chose his first victim. They had knives, but that didn't bother Tundra as he swiftly grabbed and tossed the assassin aside like a child would with a toy. Tundra walked over to the pitiful creature and chomped down on their shoulder and violently shook his head, tearing the appendix from the body, making the sweet sound of pain coming from their mouth.

Tundra dropped the arm and turned just in time to see another coming at him. He crouched low, snarling, then leapt upwards and over the assassin's head, and landed on all fours behind them. The assassin turned just in time to see flashing teeth coming at his head.

After he dispatched that one, two more came at Tundra. He swiped at one as the other took out a blade; it catching the moonlight harshly. Tundra has never met a blade that didn't look harsh in all his decades of existence. Not that it didn't matter; he bearing so many scars from blades that wanted to destroy him, that he concluded this time wouldn't be any different.

Tundra snarled as one came after him, blade posed to swipe at his side. Tundra was quicker, dodging to one side, sharp claws kicking up clumps of earth. Using this momentum, Tundra pushed his mighty back legs and leapt. His paw hit the assassin square in the chest and pushed him down. Licking his chops, Tundra tore off their head in one quick, and grotesque motion. He heard the feet of the other assassin as they approached Tundra.

Tundra looked up, the head of this assassin's comrade still in his mouth. Blood covered his white-grey muzzle and chest as he dropped the head and roared at the oncoming attack. Tundra ducked and swiped a strong paw, knocking the assassin to the ground.

Looking up, he saw that Timber had an assassin in his mouth, and one in his grasp on the ground getting choked by strong paws.

Tundra gave a wolfish grin as he looked at this creature on the ground before him. He smelled the fear-scent rolling off of them in waves. Growling, he stalked forward, licking his teeth that were stained with blood of current and past victims. The assassin fumbled for the stick they carried.

Gun. Tundra corrected, recalling it from past memories. The assassin held the gun up shakily. Giving a growl that would have been Hamish chuckling, he lunged just as the creature on the ground pulled the trigger. Tundra gave a roar as the bullet tore through his right shoulder—this just added to his rage and he quickly killed the invalid and vile creature.

Tundra turned and looked just in time to see that Timber had just killed another assassin.

He scanned his territory with cold and searching eyes. Tundra counted the bodies. All twelve were strewn across the lawn. He gave a satisfied snort, turning to his packmate.

"Finished," Tundra growled to Timber, who nodded and walked towards the Den. They both retracted and Hamish and Lilith were soon standing naked in the entry way. Hamish grabbed his robe, tying it on, as he walked to where he had left Jay.

As soon as he opened the door, a heap of black-and-white-speckled fur came at him. Hamish was not prepared for this, and his injured shoulder struck the ground first, causing him to see stars as pain bloomed and radiated from his shoulder to his back and chest.

Without a second thought, Timber was soon there, blowing over the attacking werewolf. There was snarling as Hamish saw a bundle of black-and-brown fur wrestling. He heard the sickening crunch and whine sound from it and eventually he smelt the blood.

"No!" Hamish called from where he was on the ground, trying as fast as he can to get up and rush over. He first saw the blood, not knowing which it belonged to. They both stopped moving.

Hamish's first thought was that Lilith was dead, and it was because of this bastard traitor.

Then, Hamish saw movement. It was Timber slowly morphing back into Lilith, who was alive. Not caring that she was bloody and naked, he swept her in a tight hug. "I'm so glad that you're okay," Hamish rushed.

Lilith struggled against Hamish's unexpected embrace, so he let her go. "Uh, duh. Like I'd let this dipshit get me," She said, looking down at the body of Jay. His hide laying on top of his bare body. "Told you guys I'll rip his throat out," She muttered in an I-told-you-so voice.

"Well, we can't question him now," Hamish said. "We'll deal with the bodies later, right now Mazikeen is in danger," He said as he tossed Lilith a robe and they both were rushing out the door and in the direction of the abandoned building.
