"Laanat hai tujh par, Yaseen. Ya allah, meri naakh" Momin Bhai cried out holding his bloodied nose.

(Curse you, oh god my nose)

"I am so sorry, Momin Bhai." Yaseen said nonchalantly, not even slightly apologetic. His mind still engraved with the image of Dina and Meezan laughing together.

"Teri shakal se to lag nahi raha. Afsos ho raha hai na tujhe ki tune mujhe aur kyu nahi maara? I always knew you envied my attractive face." Momin Bhai glared, slapping him on the arm.

(By looking at your face it doesn't seem so. You are regretting not hitting me more, right?)

"Arrey-" Yaseen was about to debate his way into the conversation but Dina's voice stopped him mid-way.
"Momin Bhai! Aap yahan?--- Uff Allah aapke chehre ka haal ye kya ho gaya hai?"

(You are here? Oh God what has happened to your face?)

Momin Bhai shot a deadly glare towards Yaseen who refused to meet his gaze.
"Ye tumhara nafsiyaati shohar mere chehre se jalta hai. Itna berehmi se maara hai is besharam ne--Oh Khuda." He growled.

(This psychotic husband of yours is jealous of my face. He has hit me so ruthlessly)

"Oho Galti se lag gaya tha!"

(It was a mistake)

"Shohar?!"

(Husband)

Yaseen and Meezan exclaimed simultaneously. Dina and Yaseen's  eyes widened as they realised Meezan had stood a witness to their whole conversation.

"Haan to, in dono ka nikkah hua hai. Mujhe aaj tak nahi maloom Dina ko is khanjar mein esa kya dikh gaya tha. I highly think she has a weak eyesight."Momin Bhai exclaimed ruthlessly, as he waved his hand in the air.

(Yes, these two are married. I don't know till date, what she saw in him.)

"W-what?" Meezan whipered, in a state of complete shock as he felt his heart crumble away into tiny pieces.

Dina nodded at him apologetically confirming the heartbreak of his already shattered organ.

Yaseen's chest puffed up with arrogance when the truth was finally out. This should show that Meesna Meezan to stay in his limits.

"K-kab?" Meezan stuttered, unable to conceal the pain in his voice.

(When?)

"Before we came here. Nobody knows." Dina said, fiddling with her fingers.

Meezan slowly gulped nodding his head, his eye balls starting to burn red.
His nazook heart was broken.
But, Meezan was thankful somehow to say the least. Atleast he wouldn't crush over someone's wife and that too Yaseen Bhai's. Meezan respected the boy alot.

"I'll bring a first aid kit and icepack, please stay here." Meezan finally said, as he lowered his gaze trying not to look at Dina who was already eyeing him curiously.

Momin Bhai moaned in pain once again, as he slapped Yaseen's arm.
"Maine ab Gul e Rana ko kya moo dikhana hai. Bichari ka engine na fail hojaye mera chehra dekh kar."

(What face will I show to Gul e Rana? Her engine will fail after seeing my face.)

Yaseen scowled as he rubbed the spot where he had hit him while Dina kneeled down against a pillar seeing Meezan walking away and then she questioned.
"Kahan hai waise aapki Gul e Rana? And how did you escape the police?"

A whirlpool of rage consumed Momin Bhai at the question as he spat out, " Tum do namoono ne mujhe police ke hawaale pakadwa diya aur khud rafa-dafa ho gaye?! Man karta hai gobar phenk kar maaroon tum dono ko."

(You idiots made me get caught at the hands of police and you escaped?! I feel like hitting you both with cow dung)

Dina and Yaseen jumped in shock as they heard the usually composed man spat.

"Wo Hitler Zeenat madam ne mujhe itna maara, kya bolun mein Allah. Khaufnak aurat hai wo."

(That hitler,Officer Zeenat hit me so much. She is a terrorising woman.)

Dina slowly questioned once she saw the salt-pepper haired man vent his anger out, "How did you escape them, Momin Bhai?"

The man heaved a huge sigh and a lazy smile took over his face.

"They ran the forensics on Abba Jaan's body. In the postmortem reports it showed that it was alcohol poisoning. But, Inspector Zeenat didn't let me leave. She said, that I caused problems and wasted police resources by running away. And that she'll detain me in the jail for a week. So I escaped again with Gul-e-Rana, of course."

"Why are you smiling? Aren't they going to come after you?" Yaseen questioned, leaning down sceptically.

"Well of course, but I'll already be half way across the country by then." Momin Bhai said, smiling mischievously as he rubbed his hands together.

"He has done sometime shady. Oh my god! What in the world of falooda did you do?" Yaseen shrieked causing the man to grin even wider.
"All I'll tell you is run away as fast as you can. Tumhe Qayamat adab karne aa rahi hai."

(The end is coming to greet you)

"You told her we are here, didn't you?!" Yaseen screamed horrified as his eyes widened.

Momin bhai smirked as he wiped the blood dripping from his nose.

"Yaseen! Why the hell did you tell him we are going to be here?!" Dina said, grabbing onto Yaseen collar and yanking him left and right.

"Shehryar knows him too. Momin Bhai was invited to the wedding!" The poor boy replied as his eyed clouded with fear.

Dina froze as she paused shaking him and a ray of colourful curses left her mouth.

"Oh! And one more thing, she found both of your phones and driver's license' that you left behind in my Gul-e-Rana. She called up your family and they are also possibly on their
way here." Momin Bhai said smugly.

Yaseen fainted in Dina's arms at this point causing her to tumble back under his weight.

"Why? Why did you do this?" Dina breathed heavily balancing her husband who was down like a dead body.

"Meri Gul-e-Rana ko do din tapti dhoop aur andheri raat mein akela khada kiya tha, us hitler aurat ne. Ye uska badla hai." Momin Bhai huffed.

(That hitler woman left my Gul e Rana all alone in blazing sunshine and the dark night for two days. This is her revenge)

Dina groaned, she couldn't even argue. The man had gotten thrashed in the police station but he was taking revenge for his damned van. He was crazy.

Depositing an unconscious Yaseen beside Momin Bhai, Dina sprang into action. She had gotten them in this situation and she would take them out.

•••

Yaseen had woken up, when Meezan had sprinkled water on his face.
He took in his surroundings as he took the understanding of the situation. Meezan was aiding to Momin Bhai's nose while Dina was nowhere to be found.

"Where is Dina?" Yaseen whispered through his parched lips as Meezan passed him a bottle of water.
Momin bhai scoffed while Meezan didn't reply.

"Where is she?!" He once again questioned, this time fear and anger coating his deep voice.
Fear because maybe she had realised that he wasn't good enough and had left him all alone here. Anger because he was helpless to the circumstances.

"Chillao mat! Chali gayi wo." Momin Bhai said calmly with a plaster on his nose.
(Stop screaming, she left.)

"Kahan?" Yaseen whipered brokenly.

(Where?)

"Jahannum"

(Hell)

"M-mujhe chod kar chali gayi?" Yaseen let out a watery chuckle putting his head in his hands.

(Leaving me?)

"Ohh saste aashiq, You fainted on her." Momin Bhai said, shaking his head at the ridiculous boy.

(Cheap lover)

"Momin bhai! Chup rahe na yaar. He is crying I think." Meezan whipered cautiously.

"Paydaiyashi rondu hai ye ladka. He didn't cry when my Gul-e-rana was left alone, though." Momin Bhai grumbled.

(He is a crybaby)

Meezan slapped his forehead and helped the man get up.
"Andar jayen. Noor aapke khaane ka intezaam kara degi aur aap bhai se bhi mil lein."
(Go inside, Noor will arrange for your food and you can meet bhai also.)

"Biryani hi hai na? Mujhe pulao wulao nahi khana." Momin bhai questioned as he was dragged away by Meezan.

(It's biryani only right? I don't wnat to eat pulao.)

After pushing Momin Bhai inside Meezan came and sat down beside Yaseen who still had his head buried between his knees.

"You know Bhai, I can see it in both Dina and your eyes now that I know you guys are married." Meezan began as he nervously picked up a twig from the ground.

Yaseen remained motion less, but Meezan continued nevertheless.

"It's like both of you are battling your emotions for each other. You both are too stubborn to accept the love you hold for each other." This caused Yaseen to jerk his head up and stare at him wide eyed.

"I-i don't love her. She means n-nothing to me." Yaseen whipered, not willing to accept the truth. Specially not to Meezan.

Meezan gave a humourous chuckle as he poked the grass with the twig in his hand.
"Acha? You tell that to yourself everyday right? Mein chashma lagaata hoon par iska matlab ye nahi hai ki mein andha hoon."

(I wear glasses but that doesn't mean I am blind.)

Yaseen remained mute, as his swollen red eyes stared into space.

"You are telling yourself everyday that, aren't you? Telling yourself that you don't need her everytime you see her. Telling yourself that she means nothing to you,you are trying to keep her from invading your dreams. But, your heart still aches when you see her away from you. When you see her with someone else. Do you still think she means nothing to you, bhai? You wouldn't be here shedding tears if she meant nothing to you." Meezan concluded a small smile making its way towards his lips.

Yaseen looked breathless as the realisation struck him. Dina Farooqi was never nothing to him. Infact if she was anything at all, she was his everything. His world practically revolved around her.

"You are plain dumb if you let her slip away from you. Any man would trade places with you in a heartbeat." Meezan said, chuckling bitterly this time.

Yaseen's head swiped towards him in an instant as these words left his mouth.
"I might be dumb, Meezan. But, I am not blind either. Mujhe pata hai, tum use pasand karte ho, but, not this time. Zeeshan Abdullah naam ke bandar se mein pehle haar chuka hoon. Ab tumse nahi haaroonga. Chahe jaan hi chali jaye."

(I have already lost to a monkey named Zeeshan Abdullah, this time I will not lose to you. If if I die.)

Meezan chuckled lightly as an adorable blush coated his cheeks, he raised his hands in the air, surrendering.
"Ab to Bhabhi hai meri. Mujhe agar pehle pata hota ki wo aapki biwi hai to mein aankh uthakar bhi na dekhta. Ab aap par hai bas, unhe jaane nahi dein."

(Now she is my sister in law. If I had known earlier that she was your wife I wouldn't have even looked at her. Now it's all up to you. Don't let her go.)

Yaseen sprang up on his feet a huge grin grazed his face.
"Kabhi nahi" he exclaimed, patting Meezan's shoulder as he ran inside the house.

(Never)

•••

Dina was ready to runaway. Once again. A sense of deja vu took over her mind as she headed to wake up her unconscious husband. This time she wasn't prepared. She didn't have a clue as to what fate held in her account. Not like she had it the last time, but atleast she knew what she wanted. This time the feeling of security and surety of her own thoughts seemed to be in the lacking.

Picking up her lehenga she ran towards the lawn where Yaseen had fainted, but halted when she saw him sprinting towards her in full speed.

Suddenly she found herself slammed against his body in an abrupt hug, his arms wrapped around her waist as he lifted her off the ground, twirling her. A gasp left Dina's mouth as she looped her hands around his shoulders seeking support.

"Dina. Dina. Dina. Dina." He chanted like a forgotten prayer as he buried his nose in the crook of her neck breathing heavily.

"Put me down, Yaseen. What has happened? Did you hit your head somewhere when you were unconscious?" Dina fumbled as she felt his hot breath against the sensitive skin around her lower neck.

"Shh" He shushed her as he kissed his way up her neck, his warm lips feeling like heaven against her velvety skin. Dina gripped his hair biting back a moan.

His nose trailed towards her cheeks as  he inhaled her lavender fragrance before he placed a open mouthed kiss on her left cheek.

"No more running, Dina. No more hiding." Yaseen whispered, huskily putting her down but still holding her by the waist.

"B-but--" Dina began softly by he cut her off, "I don't care who comes, you are mine and I am yours. Koi taakat ye badal nahi sakti. Na hi momin bhai, na hi humari family, aur Meezan- Zeeshan naam mendak to bilkul nahi. Samaj mein aya tumhe?"

(No force in the universe can change that. Not Momin Bhai, not our family and specially frogs like Zeeshan and Meezan. You understand?)

A shy grin broke at Dina's lips and before she knew she was laughing out loud as she threw her arms around his shoulders hugging him tight.

"Daure to nahi pad rahe tumhe? I knew I shouldn't have told you all this" Yaseen mumbled, as concerningly rubbed her waist.

(Are you having a panic attack?)

Dina was wheezing by now as her eyes filled with tears, she slapped his cheek playfully.
"Tum ghadey ke ghadey hi raho gay. Bewakoof aadmi, I love you. I love you alot. I always have. Tum to kehna waale nahi ho aur 50 saalon tak. Mein hi keh deti hoon."

( You will always remain the donkey you are, you idiot man.) (You are not going to confess till another 50 years. I will itself say.)

Yaseen's ocean eyes widened as his mouth opened and closed like a fish as he gulped harshly. She loved him. She freaking loved him.

"Oh come on, snap out off it. Don't make me punch your teeth out right after I have confessed my love." Dina glared at him, putting her hands on his chest.

"Only you, Dina Farooqi. Only you." Yaseen whispered softly, a small smile melting away on his frozen face.

"Say something back, you baffoon. I swear--" Dina started annoyance lacing her voice but Yaseen cut her off of the nth time.
"I love you too. I love you with everything in my being. I love you a thousand times more than I love mango milkshake. I love you so much that I am afraid of not being good enough for you."

"About time." Dina whipered as a blush tinged its way to her cheeks causing Yaseen to laugh out loud as he leaned his forehead on hers, pulling her closer to himself.

Dina soon joined in as a wide grin made its way towards her lips causing Yaseen to gaze at her adoringly.
Their bodies were flushed against each other as they bathed in the warmth. Their hearts raced like the wind in a whirpooling storm.
But, the world had never felt so perfect to them as it had did in the moment. Because they had each other. Dina next to her Yaseen.
