Chandhini got ready for the puja feeling worried. Ataya ji had mentioned again about wanting to have a little grandchild to play with and khushi had looked hopefully at Chandhini.

Chandhini didn't care about ataya ji but ayi, she didn't want to hurt her feelings. She needed to tell them that she was repeating 2 semesters to improve her grades. That will let them know indirectly that there wasn't going to be any baby for at least another year.

She paused while putting on the heavy kangan, but this topic would raise again and again and advay didn't want a child. She felt the pain in her heart. He hated her so much that he was punishing himself too by not having a child. She looked at her image in mirror. If it had been swathi, they might already have had 2 or may be three kids. But she was not swathi. She was chandhini and she was not good enough to be the mother of his kids.

Delhi

Advay watched chandhini enter the house. She looked tired. She quickly put her bag away,'' Sorry, I got stuck in traffic. Did you had your coffee yet? Should I make it now?''

Advay,'' No, I already had it.''

He asked her quietly,'' did you eat anything?'' she had lost so much weight in these past few months.

Chandhini looked at time, it was 9,'' No, didn't had the chance but I am not really hungry anyway. Do you need anything?''

Advay,''No.''

Chandhini asked him quielty,''I am bit tired, can I go and sleep early today?''

Advay was feeling guilty,'' of course but chef is still awake, he can make something for you or do you want to drink milk or eat something else?''

Chandhini,''No, I just want to sleep.''

Advay watched her go. He absently stared at the new contract file, he needed to read but he couldn't concentrate. So, he went after her.

She was already sleep. He got ready for bed and then slid next to her. She looked so worn out. Her eyes had deep bags. She was studying hard this time to get better grades. He lightly touched her cheeks.

He felt a bit guilty over asking her to leave the academy, now she was working extra hours. He had been too much territorial. He didn't like any man looking at her twice and had shouted at her.

Now, she had gone quiet. No more fights, no more fighting with girls over him at parties, no more of looking at him from her corners in parties. These were the most peaceful months they had since they got married nearly four years ago and yet, they were most restless as well. He felt agitated by her calmness. She was never this quiet. He took her into his arms, she didn't move as she was in a deep sleep.

They had been married for almost four years now. He frowned and checked his mobile, it was their wedding anniversary two days later. They had never celebrated it.

He looked at his little caterpillar and kissed her on nose. May be he should give her a surprise. It may change her strange mood and it would also tell her indirectly that he had accepted their wedding.

Although he loved her and may be he had almost forgiven her, but he was not ready to tell her. The reason was that although he had forgiven her for what had happened but he still couldn't forget it.

Sometime, he did get the urge to tell her but then his ego didn't allow it. The very same male ego which she had trampled on when she went against his wish and said yes to baba and later, when she had trusted aditi and got him drugged.

He had realised it was not her who drugged him because aditi had been caught by police in another case few months after that incidence. He had made sure that her husband was not able to bail her out. Now, she was in prison but still it was because of Chandhini that Aditi had even dared to use him.

He traced his fingers on her lips, not fair Chandhini Raizada, after so much you still manage to make me fall for you. Now I can't imagine someone other than you as my wife. Not wanting to awake her he lightly pecked her on lips and started planning for his surprise.
