Advay poured whisky for himself and then looked at May, she raised two fingers, so Advay made glass according to her preferences. She sat in the sofa an amused expression on her face, 'why are you doing this?''

Advay,''doing what?''

He gave her one glass and settled on sofa opposite her.

May,'' I am not naive Advay, first you invited me to your home which you never do, I seriously feel honored but everyone knows you keep your personal life separate from your business one.''

''Secondly, you have been flirting outrageously with me and I have been obliging you because your wife's face is something to look at when she is jealous,'' she laughed, 'but it's not you. So, cough up the details.''

Advay,''just a little fight with my little bride.''

May,''ohh trouble in paradise already?''

Advay,''It seems like it's the right time. We have been married for almost one and half year.''

May,'' So, what is the fight about?''

Advay remained silent.

May, 'So you want to make her jealous. But what if she turned violent toward me?''

Advay,''you can't handle her?'' he asked in a mock challenge.

May,''of course, darling I can but can she?'' she winked.

Advay laughed,'' I pity your man.''

May laughed, 'He likes me because of it. He says I am unpredictable.''

Advay,'' So, what will he say about you being here.''

May took a sip and replied, 'Nothing, unless something more interesting happen, I have been just having dinner with a close friend.''

She winked at him, ''Tempted?'' she asked in blatant proposal.

Advay smiled, ''You are always a temptation minx and you know it but I know your husband too.''

May sighed,''Here goes my chance to create some good new gossip.''

Advay looked at her and asked honestly, 'Don't you get tired about all the gossip.''

May, ''Never!''

Advay laughed, he liked this about her, she was a vicious society gossiper and she was proud of it.

Advay,''So, what are you going to spread about my wife.''

May,'' I haven't decided yet. Are you a sugar daddy? Or is it complicated?''

Advay,''Complicated.''

May drank her whisky in one go and stood up, 'I love complications but I think I will let them think what they want to think. It will be so amusing. It will break the ennui. Now let's do something to make your wife throw a tantrum. I want to see it myself.''

Advay just sat there and said, 'that will be too much.''

May came and leaned over him, her hairs falling over his face, Advay moved away from her and stood up, ''May I want to teach her a lesson but I don't want to lose you or your husband. You are both my friends.''.

May pouted,'' Advay you are being a kill joy.''

The room door opened and Chandhini ran in, there was no other word for it. She looked like she had been searching for them, probably she had been searching the grounds, Advay guessed. Her eyes darted between May and Advay who were standing very close to each other.

Chandhini frostily told May,'' I think it's time for you to leave. It's getting really late.''

May gave a husky laugh and leaned over and kissed Advay on his cheek,'' a goodbye kiss''she winked at Chandhini.

May sailed passed Chandhini and stopped at room door,'' Advay you are coming on friday's party, right? You can bring Chandhini if you want. Thank you for the dinner.''

Advay,''See you later.''

May left the room following a servant who was waiting outside on Advay's instructions, leaving Advay and Chandhini staring at each other.

Chandhini went to Advay and tried to slap him, but he held her hand.

Advay moved her hand down with one hand and his other hand wrapped around her midriff pulling her closer, 'Jealous?'' he whispered.

Chandhini hit him on shin, Advay muttered a curse letting her go.

Chandhini picked sofa cushions and threw them at him,'' You brought a women here!! Do you think I don't know what you are trying to do.''

Advay grabbed her from arms and said, ''Just warning you what will happen. If you want me then stay here, if not then go away from my life.''

Chandhini,''Just ask Veer to talk with me and I will.''

Advay shouted, 'Why I would do that? You will have to come to my bed without any conditions. I will not play these games with you''

Chandhini,''I am not playing games.''

Advay,'' So you don't want me? No? Then why we are even married? you wanted this and now you no longer want it, why don't you call ayi and baba and let me out of this farce too, In fact I will call them myself'' he let her go and took his cell phone out of his pocket.

Chandhini became scared and tried to take mobile away from his hand,'' No, Advay please don't call them, please.''

Advay stopped dialing the number and looked at her,'' Then decide for once and all because I am not going to be part of these silly games, I don't know why I even I brought that woman into my home.'' he seethed at himself, his anger pointed inward. Just to make her back down, he had nearly crossed a line himself.

Advay,'' I promise'' she whispered,'' I won't ever do this again. I...I love you.'' She cried out the last words,'' I can't live without you. You just make me mad.''

Advay stared at her, ' and you test my patience.''

Chandhini,'' You have to promise you won't meet her again or bring in anyone else.''

Advay,'' Ok.''

Both stood there staring at each other. Chandhini suddenly started to feel conscious,'' I...er...'' She just wasn't in mood for him to touch. She felt like hitting May.

Advay,''Go, you need to shower anyway, you stink.''

Chandhini felt her mouth fall open, she closed it and went toward bathroom and then she shouted to him,'' Not that it stopped you from wanting me.'' she quickly went in and shut the door.

Advay stood there for a moment surprised and then went to the bathroom door and said loudly, 'no point in bathing then, just come out.''

She locked the door in response. Advay's smile was a little wolfish,  he pressed the button under the door handle and the door opened leaving Chandhini shocked.

Advay closed the door behind him.
