CHANDELIER

Up in the ceiling was crystal clear.

I stand high in this glorious chandelier.

I gracefully move and start dancing.

In this rare moment it's like I'm flying.

I live my precious life with no sorrow,

for I'm not terrified for what's tomorrow.

I sway and twirl to cast away my fears.

Every step was equal from my tears.

I don't care if I'm engulf with darkness,

for this night makes me naturally fearless.

Because my soul was glowing bright,

as I consider this as my own spotlight.

In this world of discrimination.

Sadly, I am the king of isolation.

Others say I've gone crazy.

But my mind says I'm insanely happy.

Because my own world was crystal clear,

where I stand proud and free in this chandelier.

A/N : This piece was inspired for the song entitled "Chandelier." by Sia.

This idea kept repeating inside my mind and I'm extremely happy that I created it through poetry.

To be honest. This poem reflects who am I today.
