Mark's POV
I slept in today. I was so tired. My true love had already written on my arm that they were on the plane but I don't know how long ago they wrote it.
I let my thoughts mix with my half asleep dreams. I thought of what they might look like and how they will sound and everything.
Finally, figuring I had slept in long enough I rolled out of bed and decided to go on a walk. I climbed out of bed and got changed. I decided to go to the shops and get some 'food' for me. In other words a whole lot of junk food.
It only took a few minutes to get to the shops but it felt like forever in the hot weather. As soon as I entered the store I was hit with a gush of cool air from the air conditioners. I walked over to the junk food aisle but these two guys were already there. One was holding a packet of cookies over the others head, teasing the them.
"Fe, give me back my cookies," the shorter one shouted as he tried jumping for the treat. I laughed quietly and pretended to look at lollies.
"No Jack. You're always eating cookies. You need to eat healthier food," the taller one replied laughing. I realized they both had a different accent. I couldn't pinpoint where from though.
The smaller one, who I presumed was Jack, stopped jumping and crossed his arms.
"Fine, keep the cookies I'll get my own," he said sassily. Before the taller one could comprehend what was happening, the smaller one reached around him and grabbed another packet off the shelf and ran away from his friend.
"Hey, you can't do that!" The taller one shouted after him.
"I just did," Jack replied giggling. The other one just shook his head and laughed. He slowly followed his friend to the checkout with the rest of the things they had.
I smiled and gathered everything I wanted and headed to the checkout next to them. They were still bickering between each other and it was rather entertaining. I ended up finishing before them and left the store, wondering if I'll see them again.
Jack's POV
I had seen the guy looking at us. He had vibrant red hair and the most hypnotizing brown eyes ever. But I payed no attention to him as me and Felix acted like idiots.
He ended up finishing before us because of our mucking around and left the store. I saw him walking down the street. Who could walk in this heat?
I shrugged it off as we met up with Felix's parents and we walked to their car. As we drove down the road we passed the red haired boy. Me and Felix made faces out the back of the car and his parent honked the horn to get the boys attention.
He jumped at the sound but laughed when he saw us. Me and Felix sat forward again and laughed as we pulled into our new driveway. I was allowed to stay with them since I had no where else to go.
Me and Felix raced each other inside and picked our rooms. I got the larger one but he didn't mind. We unpacked all our stuff and ended up playing video games the rest of the day.
I kept thinking of that boy. What if he ended up in our class and he told everyone about what he saw. He didn't look like that type of person but then again, most people don't. I pushed it aside as me and Felix started playing left for dead. I would find out on Monday I guess.
~time skip to the next day ~
Me and Felix were out exploring the town. We came across a park and we saw the red haired boy with a group of people. I felt my heart race a little when he looked at us.
He smiled and waved us over, and Felix being that type of person, he dragged me over to them.
"Hey, you two must be new here. What's you guys names?" The red haired boy asked. Felix smiled happily and pulled me out from behind him.
"I'm Felix and this is Jack," he chirped. I suddenly felt a twist in my stomach and a sudden shyness overcame me.
"Mark, and this is Bob, Wade, Tylor and Ethan," the red haired boy replied pointing to everyone in the group. They all said their Hello's and I gave a shy wave.
"Hey bro, are you okay?" I heard Felix ask from behind me. I turned to him with a slight hint of fear in my blue eyes.
"Umm, can you guys excuse me for a second?" I quickly asked the others. They all nodded as I dragged Felix away.
"Are you okay Bro?" He asked again, more concerned. I shook my head slightly.
"I don't know what's wrong. I just can't seem to talk to them. I think my anxiety is affecting me," I answer sadly. He gives me a sympathetic smile and hugs me.
"Its okay Bro. I'm right here with you alright. If you want to leave just tell me okay?" He says calmly. I nod and he smiles.
"Good,." and with that he picks me up over his shoulders and I scream and giggle.
"Put me down Fe, you know I hate heights," I scream as I bang on his back and wiggle around.
"Oh come on, you're not that high up," he says laughing and tickling me. I giggle and try to squirm out of his grasp but he doesn't let me go.
Somehow he manages to walk back to the others and lays me down on the grass in front if them. My giggles start to die down and I sit up.
"I hate you Fe," I mumble but he hears me.
"What was that?" He says holding his hands out to tickle me.
"No no! Stay away from me!" I shout while crawling backwards. My back hits something and I look up to see Mark looking down at me smiling.
"Hi there," he says in a deep voice. My smile turns into surprise.
"There is no fookin way that's yer voice," I say getting up. He laughs, which sounds just as amazing.
"I get that a lot," he says shrugging. Felix walks up to me with a devilish grin on his face.
"No, you stay away from me. Just, stay," I say while putting a hand up to keep him away from me.
"No offense, but are you two dating?" Bob asked and both mine and Felix's faces turn red.
"What. No no no. We're just really close friends. Been friends since kindy," Felix said for me.
"Ohhh," the whole group said in unison, making me and Felix burst into laughter.
Well. They are stupid XD
