Booper Dooper

Jacks POV
I lay in bed writing to Mark. He always made me feel better when I was bored. I was about to write back when I heard knocking downstairs. I held my breath and listened carefully but no other sounds were made.

I let out my breath but a loud smash rang through the house. Someone had broken a window. I froze as I heard commotion downstairs then footsteps.

I quickly got up, well as fast as I could with my injuries, and hobbled to my door. Peeping out I saw a dark figure downstairs. It was wearing a blue hat. He must be my attacker from yesterday.

I ducked back into my room and quietly closed my door, locking it. I hobbled over to the window and opened it. I looked down at the ground on the bottom floor and started feeling slightly dizzy. Dam fear of heights.

CRASH!

I jumped when I heard something smashing downstairs then voices.

"Would you be quiet and stop breaking things!" An unfamiliar voice called. I stayed quiet as they argued with each other, trying to figure out how many people were there.

I was able to hear three voices. Two of which were females. I looked back out the window and gulped. It was the only way out.

Taking a deep breath I slowly began to climb outside. I placed my feet on the windowsill and stood up shakily. The wind blew and nearly threw me off balance.

I shuffled along the windows ledge. I heard my door being kicked down I side and shuffled a little faster. As I rounded the corner of the house I heard shouting inside my room.

"WHERE DID HE GO?!" The males voice shouted. I held my breath as his voice grew louder. He sounded like his head was hanging out the window.

"We don't know, we searched the whole house and didn't find him. We didn't even see him leave. He couldn't have jumped out the window if that's what you're thinking," a females voice called.

"Dammit! THEN WHERE US HE? Aaron asked us to finish the job. If we don't do it then he will get the shits at us," the male shouted. His voice started loud but got quieter. He must have pulled his head back inside the window.

Their voices grew quieter and after a few minutes I heard them below me. They were climbing out the window downstairs and were literally right below me.

I held my breath as they talked about where I could have gone and started leaving the property to a black car on the side of the road and driving off.

I let my breath out in a big whoosh. I looked down at the ground and was suddenly unable to move. My breath hitched and I forced myself to look back up. I needed help.

I felt for my pockets and pulled out the pen I had being using to write Mark. With a shaky hand I wrote a quick SOS before pressing my body against the wall of the house.

I hope he came soon. I was getting dizzy...

Mark's POV
I had been talking to Jack but he suddenly stopped. U was getting really worried when he didn't reply. Felix saw this and looked up at me.

"Are you okay Mark?" He asked concerned. Everyone else in the group turned to me. It was still a little odd seeing Cry without his mask but I shook the feeling off.

"I was talking to Jack but he suddenly stopped and hasn't written back in a while. I'm getting a little worried," I said as I stared at my arm. Felix put a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry. I'm sure he just fell asleep. He should be resting anyway," He reassured. I nodded and started eating my lunch. I knew everyone was looking at me every now and then but I didn't care.

I felt a stingy tingly feeling in my arm and glanced at it to see shaky writing appear on my arms. What I read made me heart stop.

Help me

"Mark?... Mark, are you okay?" I heard someone ask but it was a blurred voice in my ears.

I stood up and tan out if the room, leaving all my stuff behind. I heard shouts from my friends behind me but I ignored them as I ran to the school gates.

As I ran down the street I heard Felix calling after me. I slowed down slightly so he could catch up.

When he was next to me I held my arm out slightly as we ran so he could read. It took a while and we were nearly at his place before he was able to understand the writing.

"Shit!" Was all he said as we reached his house. I followed his gaze to see Jack standing shakily on the edge of the widow ledge around the house. He had his eyes squeezed shut and looked like he was panicking.

"Felix, you stay here and watch him in case he falls. I'll go up and try to get him inside," I proposed. He nodded an threw me their house keys.

I caught them and ran to the front door, quickly unlocking it and sprinting to Jack's room. I passed a broken widow on the way and his door looked like it had been kicked down.

I pushed all the thoughts aside as I ran to the window and quickly climbed out. The wind pushed against me, threatening to push me off the ledge. I saw Felix down below trying to reasure Jack that help was coming.

I slowly shuffled along the wall, nearly falling a couple if times. I neared the corner Jack was at and carefully rounded it. Jack stood in front of me. His skin was paler than usual, his breathing hitched and rapid, his body shaking and his eyes closed tightly.

"Jack, I'm here. Don't worry. Just grab my hand and I'll lead you back inside," I called to him. Tears ran down his face and he started hiccuping.

"I-i c-can't M-Mark i-i'm s-scare-ed," he choked out. His legs looked like they were about to give out and he would fall. I shuffled up to him and grabbed his arm as he started leaning forward, and pushed him back.

"Jack! Come on, you can do this. I'm right here alright. Just focus on my voice and keep your heels pressed against the wall," I told him.

He took a few deep breaths and nodded. I said reassuring things to him, holding his hand as we shuffled back along the wall.

"Alright, we're at the corner, I'm gonna go around it and I'll help you around. Just keep your back against the wall and your feet away from the edge," I said softly.

He nodded and I made my way around the corner. The wind pushed up against me but I held my stance. I peered around the corner and instructed Jack around the corner.

When he was out of the walls protection the wind shoved against his fragile frame. He wobbled and slipped. I grabbed onto him and quickly pulled him back up.

"Are you okay?" I asked. He shook his head no and I took it as a signal to just get him off the ledge. I continued to instruct him and we were soon at the window.

"M-Mark?" I heard Jack call quietly. I looked at him to see fear in his eyes. I squeezed his hand a little.

"Don't worry, I'm here," I replied. I climbed into the window and held my arm out for him to take again. He did and I helped him back into the safety of his room.

I hugged him close to me as Felix ran into the room. Felix said a whole bunch of things at once but Jack didn't answer. He looked like he was having a panic attack or something.

"Felix shutup! Is he afraid of heights or something?" I asked him seriously.

"Well, yeah. He's terrified of heights," He said slightly confused then his face filled with realization. "Shit!"

He knelt down next to Jack and tried to calm him down. It didn't look like it was working as he hiccupped and and cried. I put a hand on Felix's shoulder and looked at him hopefully. He sighed and sat back slightly.

"Jack?" I said softly. "Listen to my voice. Try to focus on your breathing. Breath in... Breath out... Breath in... Breath out... That's it. Good. Now think if something that makes you calm, that makes you happy...," I continued to say soothing things to him until he calmed down.

"How did you do that? It usually takes me ages to calm him down when he's like that," Felix asked. I just shrugged.

"I don't know. I guess I just did it," I replied. I heard Jack cough in my arms. He lifted his head to reveal his red tear stained face.

"Sorry I cause so much trouble," he murmered.

"No no, you weren't any trouble. We care about you and we will do anything to keep you safe," Felix reassured.

"Talking about safety, why were you on the window ledge anyway?" I asked. He took a deep shaky breath.

"Its a long story...,"

Sorry. I am getting worse and worse. And my phone is about to die so imma go now. Its so late... Niy really. Its only 10:35pm buy eh. Bye
