Chapter - 6 ✨

Hello cute readers!!

Happy valentine's day 💖❤️

Here is the valentine's special for you lovely readers. This is a bonus chapter. 😌😉

Happy reading!!

I'm so excited yet a little nervous too. I'm meeting her today. Her? Of course, Pakhi-who else? My mind is swirling with thoughts, replaying every detail of the plans I've made and the gifts I've bought. Will she like them? What if she doesn't? What if she didn't like them? What if she doesn't want to go out with me? It's our first Valentine's Day together, and I want it to be perfect. No, I need it to be perfect.

As I reach her house, my mind is filled with thoughts of her. Standing in front of Ahuja Mansion's grand main door, I take a deep breath to calm myself before ringing the doorbell. Naina Aunty opens the door, her warm smile instantly putting me at ease.

"Arey, Ansh, tum!" she exclaims. (Oh, Ansh you here!)

I return her smile, touch her feet, and say, "Kaise hain aap?" (How are you?)

"Main bilkul theek hoon. Yahin khade rah kar baat karni hai? Chalo, andar aao," she replies warmly, ushering me inside. (I am all good. Do you want to talk while standing her only? Come, let's go inside.)

I sit on the plush couch as she brings me a glass of water. "Kuch kaam se aaye ho?" she asks with a curious smile.
I tease her back, "Kyun, bina kaam ke nahi aa sakta kya?" giving her a playful grin. (Have you come for any work?) (Why? Can't I come without a reason?)

She laughs. "Bilkul aa sakte ho. Chaaho toh yahin ruk bhi sakte ho."
I chuckle and respond, "Nahi, nahi, main toh Pakhi ko bahar le jaane ke liye aaya hoon. Woh ghar par hai kya?" (Of course you can come. If you want, you can stay here only.) (No, no, I am here to take Pakhi out. Is she at home?)

Her smile widens. "Aaj tumhari kismat achhi hai. Woh jaldi ghar aa gayi hai. Abhi bulati hoon." (You are lucky today, She came home early today. Wait let me call her.)

I watch as she goes upstairs, leaving me feeling a mixture of anticipation and excitement. Moments later, I hear footsteps, and there she is-Pakhi, standing on the stairs in an oversized bear-print night suit. Her hair is slightly messy, and she looks like she's just woken up. Yet, she's adorable, effortlessly so.

As soon as her eyes land on me, she quickly turns to Naina Aunty and whispers something I can't quite catch. She's about to head back upstairs when I step forward and stop her.
"Pakhi!" I call out.

She pauses, turns around, and her expression clearly says, Now what?!

"Good afternoon," I greet her, unable to hide my grin.

"Afternoon," she mumbles, her voice soft.

I smile wider. "We're going out," I announce casually.

She blinks, caught off guard. "Where? And why?"

"It's a surprise," I reply, enjoying the hint of curiosity on her face.

Naina Aunty helps me by nudging her. "Go beta, get ready," she says, giving Pakhi no room to argue.

As Pakhi heads upstairs to change, Aunty and I chat for a while. She asks, "Kedhar jane ka plan hai?" (So Where are you guys going?)

I answer with a smile, not revealing too much. She laughs. "Plan to bahut achha hai," she praises. Her approval feels reassuring, and I relax a little. (Plan is so good.)

When Pakhi reappears, I lose my train of thought entirely. She's wearing blue denim shorts, a crisp white shirt, white sneakers, and a small sky-blue handbag slung over her shoulder. Black sunglasses rest atop her head, completing her effortlessly stylish look. For a moment, I can't look away. She's looking stunning.

Pakhi waves her hand in front of my face, snapping me back to reality. "Haan... let's go?" I quickly say.

I turn to Naina Aunty and say, "Aunty, hum chal rahe hain. Pakhi ko raat tak drop kar dunga."
She replies playfully, "Take her and don't worry about time. Enjoy your day!" Then she leans in and whispers, "Iss khadoos ko sambhalne ke liye best of luck."
(Okay aunty, we are leaving. I will drop Pakhi till Night.)
(Best of luck to handle this bitter gourd.)

I laugh softly and whisper back, "Woh itni bhi khadoos nahi hai." But when I glance at Pakhi, she's glaring at me suspiciously. "Kya khichdi pak rahi hai mere khilaf?" she demands.
She is not that bad.)
(What are you both planning against me?)

"Nothing!" I reply hastily, steering us toward the car.

We're walking toward the car when I stop abruptly.

Pakhi looks at me, puzzled. "Ruk kyu gaye? Nahi jaana hai kya?"
(Why had you stopped? Don't you want to go?)

"Jana hai," I say with a soft smile. "First, you go. I'll come."
(No, I want to go.)

She shrugs, walks to the car, and opens the door. I follow her and in deep voice I say, "I can't wait to write new chapters of love with you. Happy Valentine's Day." As I say this my heart is racing like roller coaster.

Her face flushes a deep red. She avoids my gaze, and gets inside the car. Smiling to myself, I close the door for her, take my seat behind the wheel, and start the engine.

Our first destination is an amusement park. I am so exited for today. As I park the car and open the door for her, she steps out and looks around. "Let's go inside," I say, taking the lead.

The park is bustling with families, laughter, and bright colors. I lean closer to Pakhi and ask, "Which ride do you want to go on first?"

She scans the area and points at the roller coaster. I smile. Of course, she'd pick the wildest ride first.

As the ride speeds up, I glance at her. She's laughing, her eyes sparkling with pure joy. Her laughter is infectious, and I realize I could listen to it forever. Her hand clutches mine tightly during the sharp twists, and though she lets go the moment we step off, I can still feel the warmth of her touch.

We spend hours riding everything from Ferris wheels to bumper cars. At one point, she grabs my arm and points to an ice cream stall. "Buy me one?" she asks, her eyes gleaming.

I smile. "Of course."

I return with her favorite-chocolate-and mine, vanilla. As we walk, I can't stop watching her. She eats her ice cream like a child, savoring each bite, her face lighting up with happiness.

She stops abruptly in front of a game stall where you toss rings to win prizes. Her eyes light up at the sight of a giant stuffed bunny. "I want this bunny," she declares.

"Sure, my lady," I say, rolling up my sleeves.

My first few attempts are laughably bad, and she's quick to tease me. "Seriously? You can't even win a bunny?"

Her laughter only makes me more determined. Finally, I not only win the bunny but a whole collection of toys. She hugs the bunny tightly, her happiness contagious.

"Happy now?" I ask, grinning.

"Super happy!" she replies, her smile brighter than the sun.

I load all the toys into the car, struggling to fit them in, and we head to our next destination-a rooftop restaurant.

The evening is magical, with soft music and a breathtaking view of the city lights. I ordered her favorite dishes, knowing very well what she likes. She has a bright smile on face. I watch her as she enjoys her food, her face glowing in the warm light. She's lost in the moment, completely unaware of how breathtaking she looks.

Over dessert, I ask, "Did you enjoy today?"

Her mouth is full of brownie as she nods enthusiastically. I chuckle and gently wipe a smudge of chocolate from the corner of her lips with my thumb and licked it. She stares at me, surprised but quickly down her head. I chuckled softly seeing her reaction.

"Finish your brownie, and then we'll head home." I say to break the silence. I see her enjoying her desert happily.

After dropping her off at Ahuja Mansion, I drive back to Shergill Villa, my mind replaying every smile, every laugh, and every moment from the day. Her face, her expressions, and those mesmerizing brown eyes linger in my thoughts long into the night.

Someday, I'll tell her everything. I'll turn this friendship into a love story I've been dreaming of. Someday.

I was sleeping peacefully after finishing my work early when Mom barged into my room. "Pakhi, uth ja! Niche chal," she said firmly. Half-asleep, I mumbled, "Par kyu? Kya hua?" But she didn't bother answering my questions. Instead, she grabbed my hand, "Chalo na, jaldi," and dragged me downstairs.
(Pakhi, wake up! Come downstairs. )
(But why? What happened?)
(Come on get up, fast.)

s I reached the living room, I saw him-Avyansh-sitting casually on the couch. He was wearing black pants and a white shirt with the first two buttons undone, his eyes fixed on his phone. He looked so effortlessly handsome that, for a moment, my gaze was fix on him.It wasn't until he looked up and caught my gaze that I snapped back to reality. Panicking, I turned to Mom, whispering sharply, "MOM! Why didn't you tell me Avyansh was here? Look at what I'm wearing!" I gestured to my bear-print night suit. Mom simply shrugged, pretending not to care.

Then, he dropped the bombshell. "Let's go out," he said casually, as if it was no big deal. My brain froze. Out? With him? I wasn't sure whether to say yes or no, but before I could decide, Mom jumped in. "Go, beta! Get ready," she insisted, practically pushing me upstairs.

Once in my room, I opened my wardrobe to pick something to wear. "I asked him where we're going, but he didn't tell me. It's a surprise, huh? What should I wear?" I muttered to myself. I tried on a few dresses but wasn't satisfied with any of them. Finally, I settled on blue denim shorts and a crisp white shirt. I checked myself in the mirror one last time before heading downstairs.

When I reached the living room, I saw Mom and Avyansh chatting. As soon as he noticed me, he stopped mid-conversation and started staring at me. Feeling awkward, I waved my hand in front of his face. He snapped out of it and quickly told Mom that we were leaving. Mom whispered something to him that I couldn't hear. Curious, I asked, "Mere bare mein kya khichdi pak rahi hai?" Avyansh immediately denied any such thing, which only made me more suspicious. Then we left for his car.
(What are you guys planning against me?)

As I opened the car door, a bunch of red balloons floated out, surprising me. Before I could react, I heard his deep, husky voice behind me. "I can't wait to write new chapters of love with you. Happy Valentine's Day." His words sent a shiver down my spine, and my face flushed crimson.

To avoid his gaze, I quickly gathered the gifts from the seat and got in the car. When I turned to place them on the back seat, I noticed a bouquet of red roses lying there. I glanced at him, and he smiled-a smile so soft it made my heart race. I tried to compose myself by focusing on the scenery outside the window.

Soon, we arrived at an amusement park. He opened the car door for me, and as we walked in, the cheerful atmosphere lifted my spirits. Families laughed, children ran around excitedly, and the air buzzed with joy.

When we went on the roller coaster, I unknowingly placed my hand on his, too thrilled to realize what I was doing. As the ride ended, I quickly let go, pretending it never happened. Next, we went on the big dragon swing. I screamed in excitement, my inner child completely taking over. I couldn't stop smiling; it was so much fun.

While we were walking, I spotted an ice cream stall and couldn't resist. "Can you get me one?" I asked. He nodded and went to get it. As I waited, I wondered how he always seemed to know what I liked. When he returned with my favorite chocolate ice cream, my heart fluttered.

As we strolled through the park, I noticed a couple playing a game where you win prizes by tossing rings. Among the prizes, a stuffed bunny caught my eye. "I want that bunny," I said, pointing at it. "Of course, my lady," he replied with a playful smirk, making my cheeks burn.

Watching him play was...entertaining. At first, his aim was so bad that I couldn't help but tease, "Seriously? Can't you even win a bunny?" He gave me a determined look, and moments later, he not only won the bunny but several other prizes too. I hugged the bunny tightly-it was absolutely adorable-while he carried the rest of the toys to the car.

Next, we went to a rooftop restaurant for dinner. The ambiance was dreamy: soft music, twinkling lights, and the night sky above us. When the food arrived, I was delighted to see all my favorite dishes. When the food arrived, I was surprised to see all my favorite dishes. I looked at him, and he smiled, "I ordered your favorite dishes, hope you like it." "Let's start eating," he said. I nodded and enjoyed the meal-it was delicious.

For dessert, they served brownies. As I savored mine, he leaned closer. "Did you enjoy the day?" he asked. With my mouth full, I just nodded my head. He reached out and wiped some chocolate from the corner of my lips with his thumb. Before I could process what had just happened, he licked his thumb with a smirk. Embarrassed, I quickly lowered my gaze and again started eating.

After dinner, we drove home with music playing softly in the background. Once we reached, he carried the prizes while I carried the gifts. He helped me take everything to my room. "Good night, sweet dreams," he said with a smile. "Good night," I replied, walking him to the door.

As soon as he left, Vaani, my little sister, appeared out of nowhere. "Dii! Kahaan gayi thi? Yeh sab gifts aur toys?!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with curiosity.
(Sister, where were you? And who you all these gifts and toys?)

I teased her, "Main nahi batane wali." She pouted, giving me her best puppy-dog face. "Please, na Dii!" Giving in, I said, "Okay, chal. Let's open the gifts first."
(I am not goin to Tell you!)

We went to my room and sat on the bed with the gifts. I unwrapped them one by one, my hands trembling slightly as curiosity and excitement bubbled within me. The first box was filled with chocolates, and tucked inside was a small note. I picked it up and began reading:

"You are as sweet as chocolate and bring the same joy to my heart as savoring its richness. Just like chocolate soothes the soul, your presence comforts me, making life sweeter with every moment."

My cheeks flushed as I quickly hid the note from Vaani's prying eyes. To distract her-and myself-I grabbed a chocolate, unwrapped it, and popped it into my mouth, savoring its rich sweetness.

The second box revealed a stunning pair of black YSL heels. Before I could even react, Vaani let out an excited gasp. "Wow, Dii! Jiju has amazing taste!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. I rolled my eyes at her dramatic reaction but couldn't help a small smile.

The third box contained two perfumes from my favorite brands. As I opened it, another note slipped out. My heart skipped a beat as I unfolded it and read:

"You're like a sweet fragrance to my racing heart-your presence quickens it, yet I can't get enough of it."

The words made my breath hitch, and I felt my cheeks heat up again. I quickly folded the note and tucked it away, keeping it to myself. Vaani's curious gaze lingered, but I pretended not to notice as I moved on to the final box.

Inside, I found a sleek white handbag, elegant and beautiful. "Wow, Dii! Jiju really went all out," Vaani said, her voice filled with admiration as her eyes wandered to the rose bouquet resting on my table.

I couldn't quite process how I was feeling. Lost in my own emotions, I barely registered Vaani's next question. "Toh ab batao, kahaan gaye the aap dono?" she asked, her curiosity breaking through my daze.
(Now tell me, where did you go?)

I smiled softly, still absorbing the events of the day. "We went to an amusement park and then had dinner. That's all," I replied, keeping it short. Before she could pry further, I gently ushered her off to bed.

Once alone, I changed into my nightwear and slid under the duvet, hugging the stuffed bunny close to my chest. With a soft smile on my lips, I closed my eyes.
