　Red strings of fate, they said...

　Two figures sat on the loveseat in silence, television switched on a certain channel that the girl seemed to be enjoying. Unlike her, the lad watched in a clear boredom. Even so, Hiruma remained silent and decided to play with his lover’s hand instead.

　Despite his look, he was a man that fully capable of executing gentle actions such as caressing the back of (Your name)’s hand. Running his fingers against the smooth skin, flipping her hand, poking the center of her palm, many things Hiruma did to the lady’s hand.

　“What are you doing? Looking for the red string of fate?” came (Your name)’s question. The said female did not leave her gaze away from the screen.

　He grinned, sharp teeth made an appearance on his face. Intertwining his hand with hers, the blond chuckled before inching their hands toward his face.

　“Strings would be too fragile to define it. What connect us is more than a mere thread, silly girl. How about red cables of fate? Cables are tougher than wires, moreover threads.”

　Those rather funny comment had caused (Your name) to stop watching whatever is on the television. She stared at her lover for few seconds. A face of disbelief and confusion were clear even only for mere seconds until she burtsted in laughter.

　Even so, Hiruma’s grin widened.

　... well, fck it. Cables are better.
