　You might not have a single clue that your tears were valuable.

　However, Shizuo was fully aware of it.

　For he was your guardian, someone who took notes of every little thing happened to you. What caused your smile to bloom, what made you cackled, what was the source of your bashful expression, and not to mention, what was the reason behind your tears.

　He knew and he would always know the answers.

　“It is alright, baby. Sssh... There is no need for you to cry over such trivial matters.”

　His arms engulfed you in a comforting warmth that you always craved for, one hand wrapped around your waist as his other one gently caressed your hair. His voice was soothing, once in a while placed soft kisses against the top of your head.

　You, on the other hand, was drowned in his affection. Not noticing the heavy scent of iron from his bloodied shirt, some even smeared on his cheek. Yet, the suffocating pain within your heart caused by the betrayal of your loved one won against it. In your fragile state, you welcomed his affection with open hands.

　Shizuo smiled in satisfaction.

　You did not have a single idea why were your tears precious, but Shizuo knew.

　What else? Definitely it was because your tears determined the life of the one who caused it to spill.

　For Shizuo would never let anyone escape safely after making tears rolled down your face.
