<<Connor's p.o.v.>>

_____

The horse came back alone. He stared at the horse in front of his fence, trying to process this information. He opened the gate and approached the animal. He scanned the horse and confirmed it's theirs. He patted the horse and it left his side after and trotted towards the water trough. He stood where he was, connecting bits of information he had and tried to understand the situation in hand.

After reconstructing what likely had happened, he contemplated the direction the horse came from.

19/8/2018

I found this in-complete drabble. The date created was 12 August and was left as it is. It was inspired by Beauty and the Beast while inserting dbh characters in it. I had a very nice image I wanted to write but I lost interest easily so, that's too bad. The idea of a nonchalant Belle (Connor) was very interesting.

To understand the situation; Elijah is Connor's master(?). One day, Elijah went for a business trip but only his horse came back. Connor went alone to search for him and found a big hidden mansion. He later found out Elijah was captured and kept as a prisoner by a beast. He then requested to exchange Elijah with himself, stating a willing prisoner is better. Despite based on Beauty and the Beast, I had a different plan on how everyone's relationship went:

- Elijah saved Connor in the past and was taken into his house. Connor only wanted to repay his debt and Elijah was more happy to be let out.

- The beast is Hank except he never was a human. He and his son once lived peacefully with the humans but ever since a human killed his son, he has hated them ever since. When Elijah came to his house for shelter, he left him alone until Elijah stole a rose from his garden that his son loved so much.

- Hank agreed to the exchange because Elijah was very annoying but he was a little shock when Elijah left without looking guilty.

- Hank was lonely and feels uncomfortable having Connor in his dungeon after rescuing his ungrateful companion(?) so he let him out (only for Connor to act as his slave which makes it more awkward).

- Hank teaches Connor humanity and Hank received love and they live happily ever after.

- Jericho came to save Connor but he's actually living happily so they coexist and visits sometimes.

The title was from a random first line generator I used like last time and reminds me of the movie.
