As an author, the most important thing to do when writing is making sure you're consistent in detail, good grammar, descriptive scenarios and most importantly, being able to create an image in the readers mind.

Not having these may make your story lacking in detail, resulting in it to be boring without you even knowing it!

Another thing is making sure it's organized. For example, separating the dialogues and the paragraphs and not have your chapter be a whole paragraph ( if that makes sense ).

Examples:

CORRECT WAY:

Write your story like this, with commas, periods or any punctuation. Make sure to know when to use upper case and lower case. If English is not your first language and you are wanting to write in English, make sure that you take a few grammar/English lessons that way you know what is wrong as what is right.

Another thing is to not write a huge paragraph where everything is together. ( Like in the example presented in the "wrong way" down below. )

"Separate the dialogues and character expressions, like this." That way your chapter doesn't consist of a huge chunk of words.

Also, don't add random bold, slanted or underlined sentences, only use them when necessary.

WRONG WAY:

A/N: I don't know about you guys, but when I start to read a story and the grammar is bad, I just can't read it
Even if it sounds like the most amazing book. I don't know why. :/ It's a new Wattpad pet peeve of mine.
